A/N: I'll post another one just cause this isn't a lemon.
PS. Guys, just wanted to let you know, I am not taking request here in wattpad. I already have a list of ready made lemons, I plan on posting twice a week. Wed & Sat.
....
Summary: Rimuru invited Hinata for a 'tour' (Date) in Ingrassia after the meeting with the Council.
"Hey, Hinata," Rimuru called out as he saw her heading for the door after the meeting.
The Council of the West had concluded, and Tempest had officially joined the alliance. Most of the attendees were leaving, heading to their next engagements. Hinata, having no further business, was about to step out when Rimuru's voice made her pause.
She turned, one eyebrow raised in question. "What is it, Rimuru?"
Rimuru scratched the back of his head, letting out a soft, sheepish laugh. "Do you have any plans after this?"
Hinata raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued by his question. "Nothing in particular. Why do you ask?"
He stepped a little closer to her, his voice lowering slightly as he spoke with a grin. "Well, I was thinking of wandering around Ingrassia incognito. Benimaru and the others headed back already, so I've got some time to myself. I was wondering if you'd want to join me."
Hinata stopped for a moment, turning fully to face him. Her gaze sharpened as she processed his words. "I thought you were looking for some alone time?" she asked, her tone curious but laced with suspicion.
"Ah, well..." Rimuru faltered, his gaze drifting away as he rubbed the back of his neck. "You know more about Ingrassia than I do. I was hoping you could show me around. Maybe take me to some famous spots or something..." His voice trailed off, and his words carried an almost hesitant tone. He was clearly trying to keep things casual.
Hinata's lips twitched at his roundabout way of asking her out. He's a bit awkward, isn't he? she thought with an internal smile. She crossed her arms over her chest, but her posture remained relaxed. "Sure, why not," she replied with a casual shrug. "Though, it's already past noon. We might not have the whole day to explore."
Rimuru smiled back, unfazed by the time. "It's fine. I've heard Ingrassia gets pretty busy at night too."
Hinata nodded, acknowledging the truth in his words. The flea market stayed open late, and some of the livelier places were always bustling well after dark. "Sounds good," she agreed, before adding with a teasing smirk, "Your treat, I hope?"
Rimuru laughed, raising both hands in mock surrender. "Sure, I'm not going to argue with that."
Hinata stepped outside first, knowing that Rimuru wanted to keep a low profile. It would be strange if he just disappeared or suddenly transformed in front of everyone. She didn't mind, though; she was used to being the one to lead when it came to this kind of thing.
She glanced down at her attire, a formal outfit she had worn for the meeting with the Holy Knights. For a brief moment, she considered changing into something more casual, but ultimately decided against it. It's not like I'm doing anything special with him. I'm just showing him around... She caught herself drifting into unnecessary thoughts and quickly shook her head.
Wait, from what I know, he's already been to Ingrassia before, she recalled, thinking back to the informant who had tracked him down. His excuse doesn't even make sense.
Sighing, she allowed herself a moment of frustration before a voice interrupted her thoughts.
"Excuse me, miss."
Hinata's eyes narrowed instinctively as she turned to face the speaker. A young man stood behind her, slightly taller than her, with short black hair and a fit build. He looked harmless enough, but Hinata was already on edge.
"I'm waiting for someone," she replied flatly, her tone dismissive.
The man didn't seem to catch the hint. Instead, he grinned, clearly unaware of her irritation. "Ah, is that so? Is this person your boyfriend or something?"
The question caught Hinata off guard. Her eyes twitched as annoyance flared up. "Is that any of your business?" she shot back, her voice growing icy as she glared at him.
The young man only laughed, clearly unfazed by her sharp response. "I'm just kidding, Hinata," he said with a casual smile, his expression shifting to something far more familiar. "It's me, Rimuru."
Hinata blinked in confusion. "Rimuru, you?" Her eyes narrowed, trying to make sense of what she was seeing.
"Oh, right," Rimuru said, his face softening slightly as he closed his eyes for a moment. "I was holding back my presence so no one would recognize me. Now, what do you think?"
He released a subtle wave of his aura, just enough for Hinata to feel it. Her eyes widened in surprise as she registered the familiar energy she had missed.
"How do I look?" Rimuru asked with a smirk, gesturing to his new form. "This was my body back on Earth."
Hinata looked him over, scanning his appearance from head to toe. "I thought you died as a middle-aged man?" she asked, genuine confusion in her voice.
Rimuru slumped his shoulders, his hand casually swaying by his side. "Yeah, well... I thought it'd be better to match your appearance. Is there a problem?"
Hinata frowned, clearly annoyed but not entirely surprised. "For some reason, it pisses me off that you're taller than me. I'm used to you being smaller."
"Is that so?" Rimuru tilted his head, clearly curious. He glanced down at himself. "I guess my original form was taller."
Hinata just huffed, turning away. "Whatever. Let's go. Where do you want to start?"
Rimuru quickly caught up, tapping his chin as he thought. "Hm... We both haven't eaten yet, so maybe food should come first."
Hinata gave a brief nod. Despite both of them not needing food for sustenance, what with their unique bodies, they still enjoyed eating for the sheer pleasure of it.
"There's a place that serves great food," Hinata said, her tone calm but warm as she led the way. "It's not quite as good as Tempest, but it's close."
Rimuru's eyes lit up, clearly excited. "A restaurant with great food?" He'd mostly eaten at Yoshida's place during his visits to Ingrassia and hadn't really tried much else. "Can't wait!"
Hinata smiled softly at his enthusiasm. She couldn't help but feel a little warmth seeing him so happy. As they walked, she occasionally glanced at him, her expression softening every time she caught sight of his beaming face.
They walked for a while, the bustle of the city filling the air around them. As they reached their destination, Rimuru's eyes widened at the sight of the restaurant.
"Uh..." he let out a soft groan, immediately feeling a little out of his element. The place was much more luxurious than he expected, more in line with what he'd imagine a noble's dining hall to be rather than a casual eatery. The architecture was grand, and the guests dressed in high-class attire, making Rimuru feel out of place.
Hinata didn't say anything at first. She just smiled, amused by his reaction as she walked confidently toward the entrance. Rimuru hesitated for a moment before following her, trying to act more comfortable than he felt.
At the door, a guide greeted them with a respectful bow. "Please, this way," the guide said, gesturing to an exclusive table in the corner of the room. "Your menus will be brought to you shortly."
Rimuru, feeling a bit lost in the opulence of it all, silently followed Hinata to their table. It was tucked away from the other guests, offering them a bit more privacy. From where they sat, they had a breathtaking view of Ingrassia's magnificent castle, its towers glistening in the afternoon light.
"Uh..." Rimuru groaned again as he sank into his seat. "This feels like a place for nobles. I thought we were going somewhere a bit... more casual?"
Hinata raised an eyebrow, clearly amused by his discomfort. "Not exactly nobles," she replied lightly, taking her seat. "Anyone with enough money can eat here. And since you're treating, I'm not about to let the opportunity go to waste."
Rimuru blinked in surprise. "Wha—?" he stammered, still reeling from the lavishness of the place. "Have you been here before?"
"Once," Hinata said, raising a finger with a playful smirk. "It was after a big mission. All the captains pooled their money together to celebrate. But the next day, they were all crying when they saw how much it cost."
Rimuru's shoulders sagged in mock defeat. "My pocket money..." He let out a dramatic sigh, clearly not thrilled about the possibility of spending more than he expected.
Hinata just glanced at him, raising an eyebrow. "What's wrong with you? Aren't you a king? Why are you grumbling?"
Rimuru sighed again, shaking his head. "My funds are locked up, out of my reach. I only get a small allowance each month, just so I don't go overboard."
Hinata blinked, a bit surprised by this information. "Are you a child?" She couldn't help but smirk. "But I guess it's for the best. If your wallet wasn't locked up, I bet you'd buy all the food in sight."
Rimuru shot her a playful glare. "Says you. Didn't you use up a lot of money during Tempest's festival?" he teased, recalling her expensive shopping spree.
"I don't spend that often," she retorted matter-of-factly, clearly unfazed by his jab.
Before the conversation could continue, the server returned with two black menus adorned with golden highlights. "Here you go, Ma'am and Sir," she said with a smile, placing the menus before them.
Hinata immediately glanced over the menu. "I'll get the bisque special with ambrosia tart and snow sorbet for dessert," she told the server, her voice smooth and confident.
The server jotted down her order and then turned to Rimuru, who had been watching Hinata eagerly place her order. He thought it was kind of cute, something he didn't often see from her.
"And what might yours be, sir?" the server asked, her smile remaining polite.
Rimuru quickly grabbed the menu, pretending to read it while his face betrayed a hint of embarrassment. He'd been caught staring at Hinata a moment too long. "Then, I'll have the roasted cowdeer with a side of fae salad," he said, trying to sound casual.
"Understood," the server responded, taking note of his order. "And what drinks would the couple like?"
Rimuru's breath hitched at the word "couple." His face flushed slightly, and he quickly averted his gaze, trying to hide his embarrassment from both the server and Hinata.
Hinata, noticing his reaction, turned to the server with a composed expression. "A bottle of Ichor wine," she said with a small nod.
"Right away!" the server replied cheerfully before leaving them alone.
As soon as the server was out of earshot, Rimuru let out a relieved sigh. "Phew... That was close."
Hinata chuckled, her eyebrow quirked. "Aren't you too easy to embarrass? It's not like she said something perverted or awkward."
Rimuru huffed, crossing his arms. "I mean..." he trailed off, glancing at her directly. "I haven't been with anyone after all. Being called a couple is a first for me."
Hinata blinked, then paused, her gaze softening for a moment. "Wait, you've been single all your life?" she asked, clearly taken aback.
Rimuru flushed, looking away. "Yeah, you don't have to rub it in." His voice was slightly defensive, but there was a hint of embarrassment in his tone.
Hinata observed him thoughtfully, her mind wandering for a brief moment. I thought you'd be more popular with that face of yours, she thought, her mind drifting back to Earth, where Rimuru had been handsome and, presumably, had been in relationships.
She muttered under her breath, mostly to herself, "Guess that explains a lot about your personality..."
Rimuru's frown deepened. "What does that mean?" he asked, his voice low with a trace of annoyance.
Hinata just shrugged, her expression unreadable. "It's nothing."
Rimuru eyed her suspiciously but didn't press further, deciding to let it go for now. Instead, he turned his attention back to the meal ahead.
As their meals arrived, the two continued their conversation, the clinking of silverware and the soft murmur of the restaurant's ambiance forming a comfortable background to their exchange.
"What do you think will happen from now on?" Hinata asked, her voice casual but with a note of curiosity. She took a small bite of her ambrosia tart, her eyes flicking over to Rimuru as she waited for his answer. She was referring to Tempest officially becoming part of the council.
Rimuru, pondering for a moment, took a sip from his wine glass, his eyes briefly glancing over the balcony's view of Ingrassia. "I think everything should go smoothly for now. After the incident earlier, I doubt they'll try anything to antagonize us. They know better." He gave a confident nod, but there was a trace of caution in his voice, as though he was considering more than he was letting on.
Hinata's expression shifted slightly as she recalled the failed assassination of the prince of Ingrassia, an attempt that had been meant to frame Rimuru. She leaned back slightly, tapping her spoon on the edge of her plate before speaking again. "We can't be too sure about that. You should still stay vigilant," she warned, her voice soft but firm.
Rimuru caught her tone, recognizing the weight of her words. He nodded thoughtfully. "Yeah, you're right. We can't let our guard down completely." His voice trailed off, and he absentmindedly pushed some food around his plate, clearly lost in thought.
Their conversation naturally flowed between more mundane topics as they continued eating, but the underlying concern for Tempest's future lingered in the air. When their plates were cleared, the momentary silence between them was broken by Rimuru's observation of the shifting sky.
"I knew it was already pretty late when the meeting ended, but it's already dusk outside." He glanced over to the balcony, where the sky was turning to hues of orange and pink, the evening light spilling over Ingrassia's grand castle. The view was beautiful, but it also reminded him that time was slipping away.
Hinata followed his gaze before lifting her wine glass and taking a small sip, her expression thoughtful. "Do you want to postpone the rest of the tour for tomorrow?" she offered, raising an eyebrow at him. "I can make time if you'd prefer to take it slow."
Rimuru smiled, his eyes glinting with a mix of determination and excitement. "Thanks, but I want to finish our 'tour' today," he replied, his voice light but firm. There was something in the air between them, a sense of adventure, even as the evening wore on.
Hinata smirked, clearly entertained by his enthusiasm. "Got it, a night 'tour' then," she said, her tone playful as she set her wine glass down.
"Yeah, a night 'tour'... tour..." Rimuru mumbled to himself, a bit distracted, as his gaze wandered briefly toward the darkening sky.
Leaving the restaurant with Rimuru's pocket considerably lighter than it had been when they entered, the two walked through the bustling streets of Ingrassia.
"A lot of people walking around," Rimuru remarked, glancing at the crowded sidewalks. It seemed like the city was alive with a different energy now that work hours had ended.
"Obviously," Hinata responded, her gaze scanning the throngs of people. "It's past work hours. They're probably heading home or to somewhere else."
As they continued walking, the streets grew even denser, the crowd pressing in tighter around them. People brushed past them, jostling each other as they hurried to their respective destinations. Rimuru, though used to crowds, couldn't help but feel a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of people.
He looked over at Hinata, noticing she was gradually becoming more distant, swallowed by the moving sea of bodies. Stretched out his hand toward her.
"Hinata, here." His voice was steady, he didn't want to risk them getting separated.
Hinata's eyes flicked to his hand. She paused for a moment, her heartbeat raised slightly as she considered it. But with a soft exhale, she closed her eyes for a moment, took a deep breath, and then reached out, her fingers gently curling around his.
She didn't say anything, but there was a subtle shift in her demeanor. She seemed to relax, feeling the warmth of his hand on her own.
Together, they pushed forward, making their way through the dense crowd. The goal was simple, for now, just to get to a less crowded area where they could catch their breath. The next destination could wait
As they found a clearing in the crowd, Rimuru and Hinata quickly moved forward, stepping into the entrance of the flea market. The place was already bustling with life, though not nearly as much as the road they'd just escaped.
"We got out of that," Rimuru said with a smile, clearly relieved that he could move more freely now without constantly bumping into other people. His hand remained firmly interlocked with Hinata's. "It's less crowded here."
He glanced at Hinata and then down at their hands still clasped together, his fingers curling gently around hers.
"Yeah, it is less crowded," Hinata agreed, her voice softening. Her grip on his hand tightened ever so slightly, as if she didn't want to let go. "Let's go."
They walked side by side, their steps in sync, hands holding tightly as if they were afraid the other might slip away. There was a quiet, comfortable warmth between them.
"Buy now, here!" shouted one vendor from a nearby stall, waving a hand toward them.
"Hey, young man, what about some food here?" Another seller called out, his voice enthusiastic.
"Two for one tonight only!" Yet another shouted from the corner.
"What about some well-made clothes?" came another offer, as the noise of excited sellers filled the air.
The deeper they ventured into the market, the more the sounds of bargaining and the vibrant chaos around them swirled.
"Young man, what about some jewels for the lady here?" One voice caught Rimuru's attention. He turned, intrigued by a stall that displayed cheap, glittering jewels.
Hinata, sensing his curiosity, glanced at him. "Do you want to buy some?" she asked, following his gaze. The stall was selling a silver necklace with a simple, elegant design, a small, delicate shape that looked almost like a slime.
"I was just curious," Rimuru laughed, shrugging lightly. "I mean, a slime, really?"
Hinata smiled, her eyes glinting. "It's common knowledge that the Demon Lord Rimuru is a slime," she said, her tone playful but thoughtful. "Slimes have actually become quite the trend around here. A lot of designs like that have become mainstream over the months."
Rimuru walked over to the stall and picked up the necklace, turning it over in his hands. He glanced back at her, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Want one?"
Hinata blinked in surprise. "Are you buying me one?" She turned to the necklace, her interest piqued. "I'd rather have a bracelet, though."
Before Rimuru could respond, the vendor, eager to make a sale, quickly produced a pair of silver bracelets. One featured the slime design, and the other a sword.
"This is a pair," the seller explained eagerly, "It was made with the story of the Demon Lord Rimuru and Saint Hinata, how they fought and reconciled. The story's become quite popular."
Hinata tilted her head, examining the slime bracelet. "Isn't it a bit strange to make these a pair?" she asked, her voice thoughtful. "Those two were enemies before..."
The seller hesitated for a moment. "Ah, well... you know, stories like this, enemies becoming allies, maybe something more in the future, have a special charm in this area."
Rimuru and Hinata exchanged a brief glance, and both quickly turned away, their faces flushing with a subtle, shared embarrassment. Their As hands remained tightly grasped, as if neither wanted to break the connection. They managed to keep their expressions neutral, though their blushes were unmistakable, luckily, the vendor didn't seem to notice.
"Then," Rimuru said, a hint of amusement in his voice as he materialized some money from thin air. "I'll take it."
"Got it!" The seller grinned brightly, eagerly accepting the money and handing them the pair of bracelets. "Thank you for your purchase!"
With the bracelets now in hand, Rimuru and Hinata made their way away from the stall, the sound of bustling market life continuing around them.
"Here you go, Hinata." Rimuru held out the slime bracelet to her, his tone playful. "Or do you want the sword one instead?" He teased, raising an eyebrow.
Hinata smirked at him, her eyes narrowing slightly with mischief. She let go of his hand, presenting her wrist with a casual, confident air. "No, the slime one is good enough."
Rimuru rolled his eyes, chuckling softly as he took the bracelet and fastened it around her wrist, his fingers brushing against her skin. The moment lingered longer than expected, but neither of them seemed to mind.
Hinata raised her arm, admiring the bracelet with a thoughtful gaze. The slime detail sparkled in the light, reflecting in different hues as she moved her wrist. She tilted her head, then turned to Rimuru. "Give me the other one."
Rimuru, slightly confused, hesitated for a moment before handing over the sword bracelet. "Sure, I guess, if you want both," he said, unsure of where this was going.
Hinata gave him a sly smile as she grabbed his arm, pulling it closer. Before Rimuru could react, she slid the silver bracelet onto his wrist, mirroring the way he'd done for her earlier.
Rimuru blinked, taken off guard. "H-Hey," he stammered, feeling the warmth of her touch linger, his heart beating a little faster than usual.
"I guess it doesn't look that bad," Hinata said, her voice laced with a cheeky grin as she clearly relished the effect she had on him. Her gaze flicked to Rimuru's face, catching the faint blush that had risen on his cheeks. Her smile widened, mischievous. "You blush too quickly."
"S-says you!" Rimuru stammered, his words a bit more jumbled than usual. He rubbed the back of his neck, clearly flustered.
Hinata raised an eyebrow, her eyes shifting toward a nearby stall selling metal wares. She took a casual glance at the array of items, though her focus quickly drifted to her own reflection in one of the polished surfaces. Her eyes flicked to her face, and for the briefest moment, she caught sight of the crimson hue coloring her cheeks, nearly as deep as Rimuru's.
She blinked, momentarily taken aback by the sight before her, a contrast to the usual calm and collected expression she wore.
The two went silent, they both looked away from each other. They continued their 'tour', there was still some awkwardness in their interactions but it eventually faded until they both enjoyed each other's company.
Of course! Here's a more streamlined version while keeping the emotional beats intact:
The night in Ingrassia was a blur. Rimuru woke up with a pounding headache, his vision foggy as he sat up in bed. "What... where am I?" he muttered, disoriented.
As his gaze wandered, he felt something warm and soft in his hand. "Oh, Hinata... Hinata!?"
His shout made Hinata groan, slowly rubbing her eyes. She turned toward him, squinting as sleep still clouded her mind. "Shut up..." she muttered, rolling over and pulling the covers back up to return to sleep.
Rimuru's eyes widened in panic. He looked around, trying to make sense of everything. He was in bed with Hinata... and worse, they were both naked! His heart raced. What the heck happened?
