Note: Rimuru's harem

The topic of Rimuru's harem has really been on my mind lately, so I'm putting my thoughts here.

I'm only including THREE girls, no more, no less. I want their relationships with Rimuru to feel natural, with meaningful development and reasons for why they end up together.

Velgrynd is paired with Rimuru in a way that mirrors Velzard's connection with Guy. So it makes sense for her and Rimuru to grow close.

Chloe has always had a crush on Rimuru across countless timelines, so her inclusion feels justified.

Luminous spent time with Rimuru during the Twilight Facility arc, so their bond developed gradually as well.

Aside from Chloe, both Velgrynd and Luminous have relationships that progress slowly and organically. While my writing may not portray it perfectly, I've aimed for a slow-burn approach with real emotional development.

Now, to be honest, Velgrynd and Luminous were also choices I made because I wanted something unique. Velgrynd x Rimuru fics are rare, and I've always liked the idea of Luminous x Rimuru. Hinata is actually my favorite pairing for Rimuru, but I didn't let that bias influence my choices. I didn't include her because I've already settled on three girls. Adding more would make it feel like just another generic harem story.

With that ramble out of the way, future revisions might feature different characters.

Velgrynd will stay. She's the main girl in the current draft and has almost unanimous support, which is understandable given the narrative reasons behind her bond with Rimuru.

Chloe and Luminous are at risk of being replaced, not just because there are other girls, but because there are other narratively strong candidates. I can easily remove the Facility arc and Luminous doesn't like Rimuru anymore. I can make it so Chloe is not taken seriously because of how forward she is, and no relationship as well. 

Side note: I don't do Ciel x Rimuru. I don't dislike it. In fact, I've read plenty of fics featuring them, but I won't include it in my own writing. She'll stay like a sibling to Rimuru.

Potential replacements (ranked by narrative relevance, where 1 is most likely to be chosen and 4 is least likely):

Testarossa - I plan on making her, his rival. If Guy has Diablo, Ultima and Carrera are pairs. Testarossa has rivalry with Rimuru.

Hinata - Maybe I'll do it with her as his student. Developing already established connection with the old slime Rimuru and getting close to the demon Rimuru. Like a student x teacher with a dash of Hinata tsundere denial. 

Elmesia - close friends that love messing around. Bonding growing closer than just light flirting and teasing. Maybe a slight influence of Rimuru's elf fetish showing subtly. Originally I kind of wanted to add Silvia instead, but that would ruin the timeline too much lol. 

Kagali - Taken under his wing after Jahil destroys her home. Beginning to grow dependent on him and admires him to the point of romantic feelings.

The number of votes doesn't sway me. I'll still make the final decision because it's my story. The purpose here is to tell me why you think they would be better than Chloe or Luminous choices.

That said, if you want to support a specific girl, these are the only options I'm offering. 

No Shion, Treyni, Shuna, Frey, Velzard etc...

If you want to keep Chloe and Luminous, just comment their names. If you're rooting for someone in the list, comment their name and defend your choice.

Reminder: This isn't a typical harem story. It has a real plot, and the harem aspect is just a subplot. So if you're hoping for Rimuru to end up with every girl, sorry, this isn't that kind of story.

Somehow, this turned really complicated for choosing harem members. I haven't started writing the revise yet so there is still time to change the girls, but I am already halfway the outline of the story, so I'll probably wait until I start writing the revise before taking into account the votes and opinions on the matter.

Another side note: Do you guys like this type of engagement? Sometimes I feel like I am too open and overwhelming for you guys. If so, just say so, I'll try to lessen my notes.

featuring Chloe x Rimuru

SUMMARY
Rimuru is busy doing work in his office, Chloe escaped training with the other children and lounged around in his office as he works. Finding it boring, she decided to tease the demon to which she couldn't expect the consequences off.

Rimuru moved his pen as the piles of documents grew smaller and smaller as time goes by. Inside his personal office, the sound of scribbling and flaps of paper files are the only consistent sounds to be heard. 

At the very least, it was supposed to be. 

Soft footsteps can be heard moving around the room. Rimuru's eyes flickered upward for a second before returning to his work. The sight of the True Hero walking around in her true form was beginning to be a common occurrence. 

Having already reached adulthood thousands, maybe more, years ago. The basic training her friends are doing are boring to say the least, she uses her skills to sneak away and hide in his office during this times. 

Luckily, Shizu let it slides most of the time as she could tell how talented the young girl was. Seeing as Chloe made sure to perfectly shows what she can do before escaping. 

Rimuru felt a hand covering his eyes from the paperwork, even then, his hands didn't stop moving. The practical usage of eye sight was never something demons or any spirit base beings found important. 

Having even the basics of magic sense as a skill already trumps all senses. 

"Rimuru-san" She whispered in his ear, her body leaning on him. "Guess who~" 

She giggled as she feels Rimuru's broad back, pressing her body more. The contact seemingly making her blush, while they have gone further than she could even imagine after their official marriage. She still felt embarrassed showing such lewd sides towards her lover. 

Suddenly, in a split second she found herself sitting in front of Rimuru. Her body placed on the desk, with the files and documents nowhere in sight, and facing Rimuru. 

Standing from his seat, he leaned forward. Placing a hand on her chin, their eyes met as Chloe's cheeks dyed crimson. "It's Chloe." 

His lips raised into a smile, a dangerous one at that, to which Chloe could vaguely remember seeing at their wedding night. 

"That's.." She stretched her arms, placing them on his shoulder pulling him closer. "Correct Rimuru-san hehehe." 

Their lips touched, pushing each other's body closer as Chloe's body was pushed to the desk, her back now lying on the table. Rimuru's hands on her cheeks as their kiss continued deep. 

His hands trailed down as Chloe locked his head in place, pushing him closer to herself. From her cheeks to her neck down her soft breasts. 

His right hand continued downward while his left relished the feeling of the hero's flesh in the palm of his hands. Chloe opened her eyes for a second, realizing the contact of flesh. 

Her clothes had long disappeared without her knowing, similar to Rimuru that had his chest as bare as hers. 

His right hand reached her waist and to her thigh. trailing his finger slowly, he went closer and closer to the middle. Chloe felt her body grow hot as she shivered when his digits made contact with her slit. 

"Rimuru-san~" She let out a soft moan, breaking their kiss for a second before pulling him back. 

Rimuru moved his fingers, playing with her lower lip before inserting his middle finger slowly. She jolted from the sudden insertion but otherwise welcomed the experience. 

"Hahh~" Chloe tightened her hug at his body, her hands trailing to his back. Their chest pressed on each other, her breast still being teased by his left hand. 

The soft feeling on his open palm raised his already brimming arousal. Twirling at the tip, he chuckled lightly as he gave a pinch before teasing them. 

Increasing the speed of his finger, he teased at the spot she enjoyed the most. As he does, he paid attention to the nub at the top of her lips as well. Making sure to give it the attention it deserves. 

"Rimuru-san~!" She gasped, she was growing close. "Please..! Ahh~!"

"The hero makes is counterattack, this is it for you Demon." She played along, moving her hips up and down as she locked her lips with his. 

The two continued on in the office until dusk to which Velgrynd had to intervene as the children and Shizu were looking for the missing Chloe.
