Afterword & Future Plans

So...

Here we are at the very end of the story.

First and foremost, if you are reading this and have read every single chapter (even the notes), then thank you so very much. It was a very confusing and wild ride to write and continue this story.

There were many times I just wanted to stop and restart everything because of some mistakes and impulsive decisions I wrote that led to nowhere. The choices made it harder for me to write and motivate myself to continue.

The comments, especially on the April Fools chapter, really helped me find the motivation again.

Here we are at the very end. Honestly, the only reason I even continued back then is because I didn't want to be someone who left his readers hanging. I have read many stories and, while not many, there are some that have been axed, put on hiatus, or ultimately just stopped posting.

I didn't want to do the same to everyone still willing to read my story, even though it has become convoluted with weird directions and unnecessary plots or arcs.

Well, this has turned into a self-reprimand hahaha!

Anyway, I am planning on taking a break after posting this.

While I do promise to come back, please know that it will take a while since I want to make my stories better. I have learned (I hope lol) from my mistakes in writing this first-ever story.

Also, are you guys interested in Lemons? I have a stack of them that I can post while you wait for my next story. Basically just a bunch of Rimuru x Female character. I don't know if I should post it in wattpad, but you guys tell me if you want them.

We're getting sidetracked again!

After my break, I will begin posting about Blood Vows! I don't know how many of you will actually read it though, as it is mainly a Hinata x Rimuru fic. Most characters won't even be relevant there, as it is just my own enjoyment as a shipper of those two. But hey, this story was just for my enjoyment too, and look how it turned out.

Also, take note. As I was writing the first few chapters, it seems that Hinata has become more or less the main character. Not saying Rimuru isn't also an MC, just that he is set as a mysterious and secretive character. We don't know much about him until further arcs. He is present in most chapters, just not the focus, but Hinata is. This is her life, becoming the Knight Commander of the Crusaders, after all.

Originally, I was going to post Silver Timeline Revise when Blood Vows finishes, but...

I take that back about Blood Vows. After I started writing Blood, I was too immersed in writing Hinata x Rimuru that it ended up having an actual storyline. Basically, Blood Vows became longer. They don't freaking interact in the first few chapters lol.

As of now, there are draft chapters in Blood Vows, but it's still basically the first arc. I am too invested in my ship fanfic that I ended up creating an actual plotline with a real antagonist. Wtf.

I plan on posting Blood Vows after the break. Then I'll be posting the Revise Silver Timeline because it may take a while if not. Maybe after few months of just Blood Vows, I'll start posting the Revise. No promises on that last part.

Let's talk about the Revise now.

I mean, you already finished it, so this is hardly spoilers I guess? But there will be BIG changes.

Here is the plan and what's on the drawing board.

I plan on fixing the romantic subplot. Honestly, it wasn't really planned to be added in the draft, so it just comes and goes every ten chapters. This time, it will be with Primordial Rimuru in mind and their dynamics.

Multiverse bullshit is thrown into the trash can, burned, placed in a cement box, and tossed in the ocean. I am done with that stupid decision that is still haunting me.

While the snakes are gone, Ouroboros may or may not still be a character.

There will be a lot of mini arcs of Primordial Demon Argent just traveling around the world, taking on contracts, and being a menace. I plan on literally making original arcs focusing on characters, kingdoms, and plots. This will replace the multiverse idea.

I also want more interactions with the Primordials. I realized that Rimuru isn't even that bad (in the draft). He isn't really a cruel demon; he is just heartless and basically doesn't care. I want to give him something that the other Primordials are known for. Testa and Guy are famous for their pride and cruelty, Ultima is sadistic, and Carrera is Milim 2.0.

I want to give something unique to Rimuru so that his title of Primordial Silver is famous to both Demon Lords and humans alike. Kind of like how all Demon Lords don't want Carrera, even though they were terrorized by Ultima in the past. Her reputation is basically worse than the actual experiences they had with Ultima.

What else...

Lait isn't her name anymore. I plan on making it either Raphael or Rafael, then a nickname like Fae or Elle. She'll be "observing" (Stalking) him under Veldanava's orders (not true).

That time travel timeline is... honestly, I'll just wing it because I can't save it. Rimuru is just doing what he wants. I don't have the power to make them do what I want...

Tempest... eh. I still don't really care that much if it exists or not. Demon Rimuru doesn't have attachments to it, the same way Primordials don't care if their subordinates die as long as it is within expectations.

I plan on using the island between the main continent and the North Continent as the spot where his gate appears. Kind of like how each Primordial has their territory where they wander, aside from Noir.

This Revise version is actually pretty different from the draft. I could argue that they could even be two different stories with the same title.

So far, I already have an outline that covers about a quarter of the Revise. Just an outline, not a draft though. It really feels like a different story, but not.

Twilight's facility arc is scrapped. I'm changing the technological facility to more skill-based experimentation, like mutation and evolution using Twilight's intrinsic skills.

The way the Primordials meet and interact, there will also be mentions of cryptids and other aggressors invading through the underworld gates. Rimuru is also guarding one.

There are also some important points in history that I decided don't require his presence. Just like many demons or characters are not present during certain events, like Ivarage's invasion. He won't be present there.

Some might complain about these changes, but I think it would be for the best.
