Volume 2, Chapter 23 – The Future King of Knights

The chaotic battlefield.

To be precise, the battlefield was chaotic, but the situation upon it was completely one-sided.

The battle between the NPCs and the players, because of the players’ ability to resurrect endlessly, had become one where, though players had no advantage in combat power, they fought in a reckless, life-for-life manner.

They simply did not fear death.

Yet in that empty space, his words were answered.

“Yes… my lord. As long as they still draw breath, they must die.”

A hoarse voice echoed in the air, though its source could not be seen.

Yunchou gave no response to the reply.

Then, at that very moment, from the depths of the battlefield, a golden beam of light streaked upward, tinged faintly with crimson. In an instant, it pierced the clouds, radiating a suffocating pressure.

A massive pillar of light piercing the sky.

A silver-haired little girl holding a golden knight’s sword.

And that overwhelming aura rolling off her in waves…

One player muttered to himself, clearly unwilling to believe what he saw.

But disbelief changed nothing. The silver-haired girl with the golden sword was standing there, unmistakably real.

「Xiaoyin… this method of directly controlling your body to channel the power of the Seven Deadly Sins, though it can only unleash part of its strength, will allow it to last much longer.」
