Volume 2, Chapter 26 – Reversal of the Battlefield

The Blood Knight, as a hidden class that evolved from the Paladin, didn’t actually differ much in its skills.

Whether it was the strongest defensive skill, Wall of Sighs, or the most basic attack, Holy Light Impact, their essence was the same.

The only difference was that every Blood Knight skill had far greater killing power compared to those of a Paladin.

“Haa…”

Tianyin took a deep breath, her small fingers gripping tightly around the knight sword in her hand.

The heavy, oppressive air surrounding her spread outward, affecting even the players who weren’t too far away.

Of course, there were still some players who considered taking advantage of the moment before Tianyin attacked to strike first. But the thought of her terrifying, teleportation-like speed earlier, and that single slash dealing 99,999,999 damage, quickly made them abandon the idea.

However, even if the players didn’t act, Tianyin wouldn’t stay still forever. This kind of deadlock couldn’t last.

And so, after only a few seconds of tension, Tianyin made her move.

The golden blade of the Victory Golden Sword began to glow faintly with a thin layer of blood-red light. Her silver-white hair, which had been lightly swaying in the breeze, suddenly stilled.

Everyone held their breath.

To the players watching, unimaginable power was building up inside that small, delicate body. It felt like at any second, a bone-chilling attack would come for them.

『Well then…』

Tianyin slowly opened her small mouth, her eyes suddenly filled with absolute focus.

『Samael, I’m… going in.』

「Go ahead, Xiaoyin. I’m watching~」

In the very next second, in the eyes of all the players, Tianyin vanished in the blink of an eye.

“Run! Everyone run!”

“Whoever can get away, just run for it!”

“That NPC’s a Throne! She’s a Throne-level! Whoever dares call her a blue-tier NPC again, I’ll kill you myself!”

The instant Tianyin disappeared from their sight, panic broke out completely. Players scattered in every direction, fleeing for their lives.

But even so, those blood-red numbers, “-99999999,” continued to erupt from within their chaotic ranks. Flashes of white light from dying players flickered ceaselessly across the battlefield.

Originally, only a small portion of the guild had been chasing Tianyin earlier. But now, with those players completely broken, fleeing everywhere, and white lights flashing one after another amid the chilling sea of “-99999999,” the entire army of players fell into total chaos within minutes.

Tianyin herself seemed completely unaffected. With every swing of her sword, more than ten bright white lights burst into existence each second as players fell beneath her blade.

Meanwhile, amid the chaos, the NPCs who had been getting slaughtered by the players began to notice something was off.

Soon, some NPC soldiers overheard players shouting, “It’s a Throne! It’s a Throne!”

“A Throne! A great Throne has come to save us!”

Though they didn’t know whether it was true, the NPCs chose to believe it.

And as that soldier’s shout echoed through the battlefield, the morale of the NPC remnants, who had been on the verge of collapse, surged back to life.

Not only that, they picked up their weapons once more and began striking back at the panicked players who didn’t even know which way to run.

Within just a few short minutes, the situation on the battlefield had undergone an earth-shattering reversal, all because Tianyin had made her move.
