Volume 2, Chapter 83 – Shut Up, You Damn Loli!

In just a single day, the Graveyard’s series of brilliant maneuvers left the players in utter awe.

First came the inexplicable act of feigned weakness, and just as the two major factions completely let down their guard and mobilized large forces to reclaim lost territory, the Graveyard suddenly launched a counterattack, crushing most of the two factions’ living forces in one swift strike.

It was this sudden ambush that made the two major factions, under the iron hooves of the Graveyard’s sea of skeletons, resemble defenseless maidens stripped bare, waiting helplessly for the Graveyard brute to mercilessly ravage them.

Although both factions were already powerless to resist, cornered as they were, they began devising every possible way to defend themselves against the next wave of the Graveyard’s onslaught.

The aged Throne-class Great Shaman of the Stronghold personally set out to seek aid from the Nature Faction.

Meanwhile, the kings and emperors of the Kingdom Faction contacted the Churches scattered across their territories, pleading to the Sanctuary for assistance and hoping the Sanctuary would dispatch its angelic legions to the Main World for rescue.

However, it seemed the Graveyard had foreseen their every move. Not long after the Great Shaman departed for the Nature Plane, the Graveyard sent out their Legendary-tier Crypt Spider Queen to launch a surprise attack on the Elven Kingdom of Nature’s forces stationed in the Main World.

Not only that, several Graveyard Legendaries also moved together, carrying out precision strikes on the Churches belonging to the Sanctuary within the Kingdom’s sphere of influence.

Within a single day, not only were the two great factions of the Kingdom’s stronghold crushed by the Graveyard, but the Graveyard itself, now swollen with arrogance, seemingly lost all sense and proactively provoked wars with both the Nature and Sanctuary factions.

Furthermore, even the always-neutral Academy declared that the Graveyard’s necromantic magic was an ancient art they had lost long ago, and that they intended to reclaim it…

By now, aside from the Inferno’s fortress, which was still buried underground and endlessly fighting for dominance over the Dungeons of the Abyss, every other faction had reacted in one way or another. Even the mysterious Abyssal Lord of Inferno expressed interest in meeting the Graveyard’s leader, the Undead Grand Duke, Sargus, who had, by his own power alone, challenged the entire world.

Of course, the chaotic and intricate situation of the outside world had no effect at all on Tianyin, who was completely focused on establishing the Ninth Faction, Dawn.

Several hours had passed, and before Tianyin’s eyes, the once flat, empty ground had now been replaced by a small city of impressive scale.

From what Tianyin could see, the city walls alone were several dozen times her own height, and as for their thickness, well, there was no need to even mention it.

And on the System panel before her, the name of the small city was displayed clearly:

【Eden】

Although Eden City had been conjured out of thin air directly by the System before Tianyin’s eyes, its infrastructure was surprisingly complete. From essential buildings such as the Lord’s Hall, barracks, city walls, and watchtowers, to shops, houses, markets, weapon stores, and armor shops, everything was present and ready.

Unfortunately, there was one regretful thing about it, this entire city was completely devoid of residents. It was nothing but an empty city.

“…So amazing, Master! Is this the place where we’ll be living from now on?”

Xiaomengyao’s eyes sparkled like stars as she looked at the newly appeared city.

“Master, Master! Are you the lord of this city now?”

“That’s right, it’s me! Pretty impressive, isn’t it?”

Seeing her loli disciple look up at her with that face full of admiration, Tianyin couldn’t help feeling a surge of pride herself, unconsciously straightening her back as she spoke.

“Well, Sharl, Orgum, you two take your men inside first. There’s a barracks in the city, you can stay there~”

Tianyin was quick to think of her NPC companions’ situation, so with a small wave of her hand, she instructed Sharl and Orgum to lead their soldiers into Eden City.

Sharl and Orgum didn’t hesitate either. They promptly gathered their men and headed straight in.

“But now that I think about it, Sister Xiaomu, it really feels like I’m dreaming~”

Watching the NPC soldiers disappear into the distance, Tianyin couldn’t help but sigh.

“What’s wrong? Still can’t believe it? But all of this is real, you know. Whether it’s 【Eden】 or the Ninth Faction 【Dawn】, none of this is a dream, it all truly exists~”

“Wuu… I know that already…”

Tianyin scratched her head in an adorably flustered manner.

“It’s just that you’ve done so much today, Sister Xiaomu. My head’s still spinning, and it doesn’t feel real at all… It’s like I’m still dreaming~”

“If Master feels like this is a dream, or maybe isn’t sure whether it’s real, then I have a super simple way to test it~”

As soon as Tianyin finished speaking, Xiaomengyao immediately cut in.

“Hm? What method? Tell me!”

Tianyin was intrigued by her disciple’s words.

“Uhm, it’s actually really simple, it’s just… ah, ouch!”

Before Tianyin could react, a sharp pain shot through her arm as something bit down hard on it.

At that instant, for some reason, Tianyin suddenly remembered the time back in the Beginner Village when she had jumped off her bed and her legs gave out beneath her.

The sensation she felt then was shockingly similar to what she felt now.

“Uwaah! Disciple, don’t bite me—aaahhhhhh!”

Indeed, Tianyin’s arm had been bitten by Xiaomengyao.

“Mmf iss Mas-fu yaw me t’oo bite! (It’s Master who told me to bite!)”

“When did I ever say that? I didn’t say that at all! Stop it right now!”

For some unknown reason, even though her hand was being bitten, Tianyin’s cheeks had somehow turned bright red.

“Pfft, this is the first time I’ve seen you like this, Xiaoyin~”

Standing nearby, Xingyu Muxi giggled as if watching something amusing, smiling as she teased.

“Uwaaah! Xiaomengyao, stop biting already!”

“No! Master said she might be dreaming, so I just want her to feel if it’s real or not! I’m helping Master!”

“I’m awake already! I’m awake! My HP’s even dropping! Now let me go!”

“Nope, nope! I don’t think I’ve used my full strength yet! I’ll bite harder!”

It sounded like Xiaomengyao had taken Tianyin’s own words seriously and decided to bite her voluntarily.

But Tianyin couldn’t shake off a feeling.

This loli disciple…

Her sudden bite…

It might have looked impulsive, but it was absolutely premeditated!

“Ow ow ow! Let me go already!”

“No way! It’s not hard enough yet!”

As expected, it was all part of her plan!
