Volume 2, Chapter 105 – Is It Over?
“Please… I’m begging you…”
For one who bore the title of Throne-class, the weight of Sargus’ words was immeasurable.
When Sargus finished speaking, the Legendaries of the Graveyard finally understood… what those words truly meant.
“Grand Duke… we will leave now… but… Will you come back?”
Will he come back?
They asked cautiously, their undead hearts trembling with dread.
“Ah…”
Sargus let out a soft hum. He turned, once more facing toward the heavens.
“I will…”
Will he really?
No one knew whether the “I will” Sargus uttered truly meant that he would return.
But since the Grand Duke of the Undead himself had said so, the only thing the Legendaries could do now was pray.
Pray that their Grand Duke would return safely.
“Grand Duke, we’ll wait for you to come back.”
They were undead, so why did they still feel pain?
Before becoming undead, their hearts had already been filled with hatred… So why did it hurt so much now?
“Go, all of you. Leave. I alone am enough.”

Feeling the Legendaries behind him begin their retreat, leading the remnants of the Graveyard’s army away, the allied forces at Mount Hyjal also noticed the sudden movement among the undead ranks.
“The undead… they’re… retreating!”
Someone shouted, and the moment those words spread, the coalition soldiers broke into uproar.
However, none of the allied commanders were foolish enough to give the order to pursue.
After all, five mighty Plane Powers still hung above the sky. Even if pursuit was to happen, it would not be their turn to act.
“Sargus? He plans to face the Plane Power alone? Has his brain gone stiff because he’s undead?”
Watching Sargus stand alone below, the Abyssal Lord, though surprised by his earlier feat of blocking the Plane Power’s attack, now spoke with derision upon seeing this seemingly foolish act of holding the rear.
“I thought Sargus might amount to something. Didn’t expect he’d actually choose to stay behind for a few insignificant Legendaries.”
“Sargus…”
At the Abyssal Lord’s remark, Heavenly Father merely watched silently, his expression unmoved, his eyes fixed on that solitary figure beneath the heavens.
“He is someone remarkable… What a pity. Plane Power. Commence your attack.”
As Heavenly Father’s voice fell, the five beings who each ruled a corner of the sky began to shine once more with dazzling radiance.
But this time, that radiance did not merely converge into a single beam of light. Instead, it slowly transformed in the air into the shapes of weapons.
“So this… is what the fully awakened form of Plane Power looks like…”
Looking up at the overwhelming presence of the five Plane Powers, Sargus’s eyes beneath his helmet slowly opened.
This time, they were no longer the familiar cold blue light of before, but glowed with a deep, blood-red hue.

If Tianyin were here, she would have noticed that this state of Sargus’s bore a shocking resemblance to when she herself had once activated the Wrath of the Seven Deadly Sins.
And this… was the first time Sargus had truly unleashed his original power.
A power beyond the Throne-class.
A power that could rival it.
Namely…
【Seven Deadly Sins—Greed】
“Come then! Come, Plane Power! I, Sargus, will personally cut you down today!”
As his words rang out, the coalition army at Mount Hyjal gazed up to see a lone, minuscule figure before the vast, boundless might of the five Plane Powers, so small it was almost invisible.
Yet that tiny figure stood clearly within everyone’s sight.
And because the five Plane Powers were visible from across the Main World, no matter where one stood, as long as they looked up at the sky, they could see it.
A man clad in pitch-black armor, wielding a rune sword, flying straight toward the five Plane Powers in the heavens.
“Foolish! This is Plane Power guided down by us Thrones! You think your kind can withstand it?”
The Elven Queen’s voice dripped with arrogance as she commanded the natural Plane Power, her goddess of nature, to attack Sargus.
From the emerald staff in the goddess’ hand, beams of green light shot forth, streaking toward Sargus.
At the same time, from the manifestation of the Abyssal Power, countless eyes brimming with madness opened, firing petrifying beams of light at him.
The Dwarf who embodied the Fortress Plane Power swung his hammer, releasing a storm of lightning and flame that wove into an inescapable net descending upon Sargus.

The elderly figure representing the Academy’s Plane Power was surrounded by countless intricate runes that formed vast, complex magic arrays, all rushing toward Sargus.
And the twelve-winged archangel representing the Sanctuary raised the holy sword, crafted from Plane Power itself, high above his head.
Then the five great Plane Powers unleashed their overwhelming assault all at once.
The sky itself was buried in divine brilliance.
Yet facing the unstoppable barrage, Sargus’s expression did not waver. There was no fear, no hesitation.
There was almost no space left to dodge, the attacks overlapped completely. So, instead of evading, Sargus chose to take them head-on.
The rune sword in his hand flared with the power of a Throne.
In the instant before the first wave struck, Sargus swung the sword with absolute resolve.
For a brief moment, the attacks were scattered apart.
But the next wave followed immediately.
He swung again, faster this time.
But the sword could no longer withstand the power of the planes.
With a sharp crack, the rune sword shattered.
Even so, Sargus did not retreat.
He could not retreat anymore.
Fortress’s endless thunder and flame, Nature’s breath of life, the Abyss’ petrifying light, the Academy’s arcane spells.

Each power struck him one after another.
By the time it ended, Sargus’s figure was barely standing.
His helmet was gone. His armor shattered and torn.
Half of his body had been turned to stone by the Abyss’ power.
And yet…
He still had not fallen.
Finally, he reached the very front of the five Plane Powers.
He was going to strike back.
That was what everyone watching thought.
But…
Heavenly Father slowly closed his eyes.
“It’s over.”
In the next instant, the twelve-winged archangel raised the holy sword high…
And brought it down hard toward Sargus!
The blow cleaved even the invisible fabric of space itself.
