Volume 1, Chapter 22 – Still Didn’t Understand
Although Tianyin was reluctant, the pressure of time left her with no choice, she was forcibly teleported away in the end.
The girl who was left behind, after parting with Tianyin, quietly walked alone into the swirling portal of the instance.
There, she chose the highest difficulty setting, gripped her longbow tightly, and stepped forward.
Meanwhile, somewhere in an unknown space, in front of a massive Light Orb, a projection was being displayed, showing Tianyin reaching Level 10, entering the instance, and then being instructed to teleport to the Main World.
In the image, Tianyin was in the middle of saying goodbye to the girl.
“Hmm… Level 10 already, huh? It’s about time to hand that thing over to her…”
The Light Orb emitted a mechanical voice. Yet despite its robotic tone, a faint trace of warmth and relief could be felt within it.
As the Light Orb finished speaking, in that very instant, time across the entire game world froze for exactly one second, so briefly that no one noticed.
Because the pause was so short, almost no one realized it had even happened…

………………
“Ugh…”
After being teleported once again, Tianyin’s vision sank into darkness.
However, the darkness didn’t last long. After a fleeting moment of haziness, her eyes opened once more to light.
When she opened her eyes, what appeared before her was an enormous hall. Towering columns surrounded the vast chamber, each inscribed with countless glowing runes that shimmered faintly.
“This place… is…”
Tianyin blinked, her eyes wide with confusion.
“Where… am I?”
Looking around, she saw that the surrounding buildings were all similar to the hall before her, each supported by columns carved with the same glowing runes.

Yet aside from these structures, there wasn’t a single person in sight.
“Welcome to the Sanctuary…”
A gentle and warm voice suddenly echoed beside her ear.
“Little one, are you lost?”
The sudden voice startled Tianyin quite a bit. But after taking a deep breath to calm herself, she realized that the voice had come from a nearby hall.
She turned toward the direction of the voice, and just as she expected, she saw a breathtakingly beautiful girl standing there. She wore a long dress, her features were delicate, and her long silver-white hair was almost the exact same color as Tianyin’s.
“Uh… h-hello…”
Not knowing what to say, Tianyin instinctively opened her mouth to greet her.
“Hello~”

The silver-haired girl smiled, her expression warm and gentle.
“My name is Yivrea. I am the overseer of this Sanctuary.”
“Sanctuary?”
Tianyin had noticed earlier that the girl, Yivrea, had mentioned that name, but she had no idea what it actually meant.
“Hmm? What’s wrong?”
Seeing Tianyin’s blank and puzzled expression, Yivrea looked at her as if she couldn’t believe it.
“The Sanctuary… don’t tell me, you don’t know what the Sanctuary is?”
Without hesitation, Yivrea asked this question.
“Umm…”

Faced with her question, Tianyin could only look even more lost.
“So then… What is the Sanctuary?”
“Good grief… I didn’t expect there to still be someone in this world who doesn’t even know about the Eight Great Factions!”
Hearing Tianyin’s response, Yivrea’s expression turned serious.
“Then listen carefully, okay? The Sanctuary is one of the Eight Great Factions of the Main World.”
“Eh?! Eight Great Factions… what’s that supposed to mean?!”
To put it bluntly, Tianyin didn’t understand a single thing from start to finish!
