Volume 1, Chapter 60 – The Undead Race
In short, over the past few days, Tianyin had been enduring all sorts of “teasing” and “harassment” from her loli disciple while continuing to improve her Life Skills.
So far, her Life Skills had been steadily improving through her own hard work.
Life itself seemed as ordinary as ever. However, one thing puzzled Tianyin: Duansheng Tingyu, who used to drop by frequently to check on Xiaomengyao for no reason at all, hadn’t shown up for a long time now.
No… to be precise, ever since he had agreed to let his little sister follow her, Tianyin hadn’t seen that man again.
“Master? What’s wrong? Are you thinking about weird things again?”
“Hmph… what do you mean, ‘weird things’…”
Hearing her loli disciple’s voice, Tianyin snapped back to reality and turned her gaze toward the black-haired little girl, Mengyao, beside her.
“Weird things… well, just weird things, obviously~”
Mengyao playfully blinked her eyes and stuck out her tongue cutely.
“Hmph… so what exactly are these weird things supposed to be? And why would you think I’m the one thinking about them??!”
After spending time together these days, Tianyin had pretty much figured out her loli disciple’s mischievous streak.

For example, she loved saying strange, random things just to provoke her, usually to see Tianyin blush shyly, get flustered, or pout adorably.
But still…
Her soul was supposed to belong to a boy, so why was she getting flustered and blushing so easily from a loli’s teasing?
“Master~ you’re spacing out again. Are you thinking about weird things?”
“Honestly, I’m your Master, Xiaomengyao. Can’t you show a little respect to your Master?”
“Uu… fine… I’ll stop talking about it then…”
A manly tear fell in Tianyin’s heart. Since when had her Masterly dignity needed to be maintained through negotiation with her loli disciple?
“By the way, Xiaomengyao, I haven’t really seen your brother lately… no, actually, I haven’t seen him at all. Ever since that day you told me you could travel this world with me, I don’t think there’s been any news from him, right?”
“Mm… now that you mention it, my brother isn’t here anymore~”
“Not here? You mean he’s not in this area?”

“Mmhm, that’s right~”
Xiaomengyao nodded.
“Master, Master, my brother’s apparently not in this plane anymore~”
Plane…
Come to think of it, after cramming her head full of world-knowledge lately, Tianyin had a decent grasp of what that meant.
The world of the game was composed of countless planes, each existing independently.
And among those countless planes, there was one central plane that served as the heart of the world.
That was… the Main Plane.
The advantages of the Main Plane had been explained before, and it was precisely where Tianyin currently resided.
What Xiaomengyao meant by “not in this plane” was most likely that her brother, the player named Duansheng Tingyu, had left the Main Plane entirely.

“Wait… how did your brother leave this plane? Come to think of it, that shouldn’t even be possible for normal people, right?”
Tianyin was puzzled. Based on what she knew, the only way to be removed from a plane was through forced banishment by a faction, and there were no other effective methods at all.
“Uu… I don’t know either~”
The loli disciple looked genuinely clueless.
“But my brother said… his race was forcibly changed.”
“Huh?”
His race was forcibly changed?
Even after cramming so much knowledge about the game world, Tianyin couldn’t make sense of that.
According to the System’s rules, once a player chose their race when creating a character, that race could never be changed.
So, forcibly changing one’s race despite that… such a thing was beyond anything Tianyin could comprehend. It was simply impossible.

“Then, Xiaomengyao, did your brother say what race he was changed into?”
“Race, huh?”
The little girl tilted her head, her delicate eyebrows furrowing slightly.
“I think it was… Dea… Dead… oh no, wait… Un… Undead Race, or something like that?”
Translator Note
I don’t know why the author put a new term “Main Plane” instead of “Main World”. But I guess it’s either “Main World” is the same as “Main Plane” (the author uses 2 different terms to confuse us), or “Main World” is a part of “Main Plane”. So for now, I will use both terms to remain faithful to the raw until we find out the truth.
