Volume 1, Chapter 92 – The Angrier You Get, The Stronger I Become
“…”
The entire chaotic battlefield suddenly fell into a strange silence at that moment.
Yes, silence.
Almost every being with even a shred of reason widened their eyes in disbelief at the scene before them.
That was…
A dragon?
Even the Headless Knight, who was leading the Dread Knights deep into the Stronghold’s defenses, couldn’t help but halt her steps.
“What’s going on? What happened over at Ysera’s side? How did she suddenly fall from the sky?!”
The question was inevitable, but what filled the Headless Knight’s mind even more was shock.
After all, in her understanding, the Frost Dragon was without a doubt a Throne-class being. Although Ysera was still a Frost Dragon who hadn’t yet fully grown into her peak, in terms of high-tier combat power currently stationed in both the Kingdom and the Stronghold at the Northern Fortress, there was absolutely no one who could easily defeat her.
Moreover, as a Frost Dragon, Ysera, like all of her kind, was innately immune to magic.
So then, for someone to so easily “throw” Ysera down from the sky, even a Headless Knight who had lived for tens of thousands of years could not possibly imagine what could have caused it.
After all, no matter how experienced she was, she would never guess that the Frost Dragon in the sky had in fact been casually tossed down by a small, silver-haired loli.
Meanwhile, the middle-aged Paladin Karl, already too weak to stand properly, stared blankly at the Frost Dragon that had just been hurled down from the sky and crashed into the distant ground.
“H-how… how… how is that even possible…”
As he gaped in shock, the image of that petite silver-haired figure from earlier flashed across his mind.
“That person… Was she really just a little girl?”

“Oh my, you look so big, but you’re not heavy at all. I only used half my strength to throw you down. Are you really a Throne-class being like that?”
Tianyin stared down at the Frost Dragon, whose massive body was struggling to rise from the ground, her crimson eyes glinting as both her feet pressed down on the dragon’s head. From her commanding position, she spoke with an almost teasing tone.
“You… have angered me!”
Ysera roared, her enormous dragon eyes burning with soul fire, locking fiercely onto the small figure standing on her head.
“Can I take that as you being angry? Enraged?”
At the Frost Dragon’s roar, Tianyin slightly lifted the right leg that had been pressing against her head.
“You know, I really like it when others get angry. Because the angrier they are, the more furious they become…”
Her tone was calm, almost emotionless, as she raised her slender, smooth leg higher.
“The stronger… I get~”
As soon as she finished speaking…
A thunderous crash followed.
Boom—!
The sound exploded like a violent thunderclap. From an outsider’s perspective, the moment the Frost Dragon’s body hit the ground, the terrain beneath her caved in with a deafening rumble.
It must be known that the Frost Dragon’s body alone stretched for several thousand meters in length. The surface area it covered after falling could easily span several thousand square meters. And yet, under Tianyin’s single stomp, the ground below sank down instantly.
Because the terrain collapsed across such a massive area in an instant, it caused that thunder-like impact that echoed across the battlefield, shaking the earth itself and sending countless clouds of dust billowing around the Frost Dragon.
“Rooaar—!”
Even as a Throne-class being, Ysera, who took the full brunt of that attack, could only let out a deafening roar of pain.
Her cry of agony reverberated throughout the skies above the Northern Fortress.

“Dread Knights, follow me!”
The Headless Knight turned her undead steed around, adjusting her direction to charge toward the Frost Dragon’s position. Behind her, the Dread Knights in rusted armor likewise turned their mounts and followed in pursuit.
Under her lead, whether Beastmen or human soldiers, even the newly risen undead that had just crawled out from the corpses were mercilessly slaughtered by the Dread Knights under her command.
It was obvious what her intention was. She meant to rush to aid the Frost Dragon, Ysera, who had been struck down from the sky by some powerful existence and was now screaming in agony.
……
Meanwhile, on the main frontlines, even though the Frost Dragon in the skies had been knocked down by Tianyin, the Kingdom’s army was still being pushed back step by step.
On one hand, the soldiers had been maintaining extreme tension defending against the Beastmen’s assault. On the other, the sudden emergence of the undead had only further heightened that strain. But prolonged tension inevitably led to exhaustion.
Not just physical exhaustion, but mental fatigue as well.
Aside from the Headless Knight and her Dread Knights, who had suddenly emerged from behind the Stronghold’s lines, the remaining undead, apart from the Frost Dragon that had fallen from the sky, were all newly born from the corpses of fallen soldiers and Beastmen.
The corpses of the dead littered every corner of the Northern Fortress’ many fronts. As a result, newborn undead were now everywhere, swarming across the battlefield.
Adding to that the majority of players’ sudden betrayal, even though the Beastmen of the Stronghold and the human soldiers of the Kingdom had temporarily joined forces, they were still no match for those fearless undead, who fought purely on instinct alone.
And the most terrifying thing about the undead was that with every soldier or Beastman that fell, another… newly born undead would rise.
As more and more of them surged forward, the defense lines collapsed one after another. The fall of the Northern Fortress was now only a matter of time.
…
“So, have you come to your senses yet? Still planning to fight me like this?”
Tianyin, still standing on the Frost Dragon’s head, looked down at Ysera from above. The crimson in her eyes gleamed with a strange, bewitching light.
“You… you’re not… her…”
No matter how durable Ysera was, at the end of the day, she was merely a dragon immune to magic. Against Tianyin, whose attacks were purely physical, she was utterly powerless at this moment.

Still, she would never admit that she was no match for her.
“Oh my, you could tell that, huh~ Yes, I’m not that little one~”
Tianyin raised an eyebrow, then leaned down slightly, her gaze toward Ysera filled with curiosity.
“That’s not the point, though. What I really want to know is… has that little Bingxue really disappeared?”
“You want to know? Or does she want to know?”
Ysera’s voice was eerily calm.
“Well, anyone would want to know that~ I’m curious too, you know~”
“Foolish being. I don’t mind telling you. Bingxue… was never meant to exist in the first place.”
As those words left her mouth, Ysera’s tone grew dark and heavy.
“She, at her core, was merely a false persona the World Will fabricated after I came into this world… to suppress me. A temporary existence… What right does such a false self have… to continue existing in this world?”
“I see.”
Tianyin softly spoke those two words.
“So that’s the truth then?”
“It is. Though I don’t know what you are, you should understand this much. Any being that forcefully enters the Main World from another plane will be met with rejection from the World Will itself…”
“I know that much~”
Tianyin smiled lightly at Ysera’s words, but her crimson eyes carried no trace of amusement.
“Time… is almost up~”
“What’s almost up?”

At Tianyin’s sudden words, the dragon let out a confused, questioning sound.
“The time, of course~ which means I can’t let you rest any longer. Now then, I’ll have to trouble you to bear with it a little. I’m probably going to knock you out~”
Just imagine it.
A petite, silver-haired loli, several heads shorter than an average person, looking so delicate and fragile that she seemed incapable of even lifting a finger, speaking casually to the massive Frost Dragon beneath her feet in such a carefree tone.
Anyone unaware of what she had just done would have thought this was a dreamlike fantasy scene.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t a dream, it was real.
The next second, Ysera realized that Tianyin had somehow appeared above her heart. One of her small hands was now resting gently against it.
And why could she place her hand there so easily? Because as the Frost Dragon in her perfected Bone Dragon form, Ysera’s body consisted entirely of bone. Apart from her skeleton and the bone wings attached to her back, there was nothing else left.
Her head, at least, was still somewhat intact, and since her Dragon Breath originated from her throat, that was why Tianyin had been able to seal her breath earlier by simply holding her jaws shut.
And now, what remained within her ribs was that radiant, ghostly core, the Frost Dragon’s heart.
At this moment, Tianyin stood right before that glowing heart, her small hand pressing down upon it.
She’s trying to crush my heart?
That thought flashed through Ysera’s mind.
Yet, even with her heart being threatened like this, Ysera felt little fear.
Because for a Frost Dragon, the true core was not the heart. Even if it were crushed, it would only weaken her temporarily, causing no real harm.
After all, she was a Frost Dragon. A Throne-class being should behave like one.
