Chu Xiaoyi didn’t dare to scroll through his own Weibo anymore. He gathered the courage to click on the first episode of Our Family over Several Generations , deciding to watch the finished product created by Director Li and the others.

Just as he propped up his iPad, he noticed the rest of the team secretly gathering behind him, which prompted him to exclaim in surprise, “Why are you all surrounding me?”

His assistant said, “Let’s watch it together. After all, there’s nothing else to do, right?”

Chu Xiaoyi was both annoyed and amused, saying, “Why should I watch my own variety show with others? Won’t I have any shame left?”

Wouldn’t this be a public execution?

He Xin retorted, “Let’s not talk about things that never existed, okay? You didn’t have any shame in the first place, so why talk about it now?”

Chu Xiaoyi was so frustrated that he wanted to kick his manager. As the show was about to begin, his assistant, brimming with enthusiasm, suggested, “Should we turn on the live comments? It gives off a different kind of viewing experience!”

It was clear that the rest of the team had already seen the episode and were now only re-watching it with relish, ready to share their thoughts afterward.

Chu Xiaoyi was a bit conflicted. He guessed that there might be negative comments in the live chat, which could affect his initial viewing experience.

However, watching it twice seemed like a waste of time. In the end, he decided to turn on the live comments.

A lively and vibrant cartoon variety show animation bounced onto the screen. After the energetic opening sequence, it transitioned to an individual interview with Chu Xiaoyi. During the interview, he mentioned that he recently gained a younger sister but was still unsure how to interact with her. He also expressed his hope that the show could help him discover new ways to communicate with his family.

However, when the introduction for his family appeared, the barrage style underwent a drastic change. The screen was now flooded with glaring pink comments.

Chu Xiaoyi looked bewildered. His face was full of confusion, “What’s this? It’s so dazzling.”

On the screen, Chu Xiaoxiao’s personal information and short clips popped up. The production team briefly introduced her age, hobbies, and specialties.

Surprisingly, her specialties were listed as ‘Human Translator, Level 10 Scholar of Peppa Pig’?

“Hello everyone, I’m Peppa Pig (Xiaoxiao)!”

Next, a scene of Chu Xiaoyi sleeping heavily on the bed was exposed. He was found lying on the bed in a rather undignified manner, with his ankles even poking out from the blanket.

“This is my younger brother, George (Xiaoyi).”

In the show, Chu Xiaoyi then faced a series of mockeries. First, he struggled practicing English with his sister. Next, he used the wrong side of the cutting board while preparing food, followed by not knowing how to turn on the range hood.

In the scene, Chu Xiaoxiao’s little face scrunched up, resembling the expression of an elderly person on the subway staring at their phone. She stood in a corner with an extremely subtle expression, showing a mix of disdain, anxiety, and unease.

Chu Xiaoyi turned the gas stove knob, saying, “What’s going on? Is there no gas at home?”

Laughter instantly filled the barrage, flooding the screen with comments like “Fine,” “Why don’t you go ask the magical conch?,” “Family’s biochemical weapon production site,” “Turn around now and you might see how your sister’s so scared she lost her breath,” and so on.

After placing the dark stir-fried meat slices on the table, Chu Xiaoyi showcased his astonishing acting skills by throwing a tantrum, coaxing his sister into eating the terrifying dish. This action broke the final straw, pushing the energy in the live comments to a climax!

This is none other than Chu Xiaoyi, ah!

He spoke straightforwardly in public, adopting a cold and indifferent “straight steel male*” demeanor whenever possible. And now, he’s actually pleading and acting cute towards a three-and-a-half-year-old little girl!

Everyone assumed he would be an arrogant young master at home, never imagining that he would be as humble as anyone else when taking care of children.

Especially when he was on the verge of collapse watching his sister jump into a puddle!

He was so angry that his face turned a deep shade of red, roaring helplessly at the edge of the puddle.

Meanwhile, Chu Xiaoxiao was singing merrily in the middle of the puddle, causing countless viewers to burst into laughter.
