Afterword

Thank you for reading The Combat Baker and Automaton Waitress, volume 6! This is the first time I have structured the book as a series of short episodes. The last volume concluded some important events, so I threw in random episodes as preparation for launching a new arc.

There are a lot of characters now, so I wanted to create a lot of situations in which they could appear, and I also wanted to focus on the pasts of some characters that I hadn’t yet fully addressed.

Furthermore, a few fairly eccentric characters have appeared. I hope you’ll keep reading to see how the facts revealed here and the new characters intertwine!
