Prologue

I wonder if I’m dreaming the butterfly’s dream or something.

I found myself in the Warring States period.

That said, it took quite a while for me to realize it.

With the sound of the waves as a lullaby, I spent an eternity of time.

I couldn’t move even if I wanted to, so there was nothing I could do about it.

As a great deal of time passed, I began to grasp the situation little by little.

It seems I am Nobunaga’s younger brother.

What’s more, I am said to be Nobuhide’s tenth son.

I hadn’t known there was a tenth son.

It really came as a surprise.

I was more exasperated than flustered.

My mother was the daughter of Taiki Kihei, a merchant from Atsuta. She was known as the Yang Guifei of Atsuta, and rumor had it that in order to get his hand on her, Nobuhide had deceived Imagawa Ujitoyo to seize Nagoya Castle.
