Chapter 192: The Leaf with Superpowers

Thomas and Laine leaned against each other, their faces ashen. Without their Superpowers, they would be utterly useless, and their enemies would definitely come looking for them. Even if their enemies didn’t track them down, people like Ye Yuanhang would find a way to eliminate them. Therefore, they were doomed to a grim fate.

"Sir, what are your conditions to use Magic to return our abilities to us?" At that moment, Thomas suddenly dropped to his knees. He knew that when people of Chinese descent begged for forgiveness or showed utmost respect to an elder, they would kneel before the other person. So, he wanted to beg the man to forgive his ignorance.

"Sir, please forgive our sins." Laine knelt as well, looking at Lin Jian with pleading eyes.

Lin Jian paused for a moment. He wondered if he could use Magic to return their abilities to them. That was impossible, wasn’t it? Their abilities were a form of energy, and the Dao Tree had absorbed their energy; it probably wouldn’t spit it back out. However, if he could really bestow Superpowers upon them again, wouldn’t that be even more incredible? Not only could he strip away Superpowers, but he could also grant them anew!

"Hmm..." Lin Jian mused for a moment before saying, "I did use Magic to strip away your Superpowers. You will never have Superpowers again; you will only be ordinary people from now on!"

Laine also covered his mouth, exclaiming, "Oh my God..."
