Chapter 219: Superpower User Guild

In North America, there was a Superpower User Guild alliance. How should it be put? This Alliance Guild was similar to various domestic associations. For instance, there were calligraphy associations, collecting associations, fishing associations, basketball associations, and so on.

However, just because someone knew calligraphy didn’t mean they had to join the association, nor were they guaranteed entry. Just because someone knew how to fish didn’t mean they were in the fishing association. Therefore, the Superpower User Guild in North America was similar to a domestic fishing association.

The small Superpower Organization known as the Black Glove possessed Superpowers, but they hadn’t joined the Alliance Guild in North America. After all, the guild was highly prestigious. Thomas had no connections to meet anyone from there, nor did he want to!

However, this small organization, the Black Glove, had actually been registered in the Superpower User Guild’s records long ago! Although the Superpower User Guild was a non-governmental organization, it was deeply intertwined with the government. There were even relevant departments providing them with intelligence.

Similarly, the Superpower User Guild resolved troubles for government departments. Many members even held nominal titles in relevant agencies.

Smith, for example, held the nominal title of a consultant in the CIA. Furthermore, he was a Platinum Member in the Superpower User Guild, which granted him considerable influence! As a Platinum Member, he could also access certain archive files within the guild.

Thus, Smith knew about this small organization called the Black Glove. In fact, the Superpower User Guild had a comprehensive understanding of Superpower Organizations across North America and the European Union. They maintained relevant records, which were subsequently forwarded to official authorities. In other words, the Black Glove was known to the relevant government departments; they simply chose to ignore them.

In Smith’s impression, Thomas of the Black Glove was merely a Level 1 Superpower User. The other members were either Level One or beginners; not a single one had reached level two. Therefore, Smith didn’t think the Black Glove would dare to disrespect him! This was because he was an A-Class Superpower User!

An A-Class ranking in the guild equated to a Platinum Member. Superpower Users had a strict grading system. From bottom to top, the ranks were: E, D, C, B, A, 2A, 3A, and S. The S-Class was the absolute pinnacle, while the E-Class was considered a beginner.

Thus, although his A-Class rank was fourth from the top, he was actually one of the rare powerhouses in the world. S-Class users were practically nonexistent, and 3A-Class users were hardly ever seen. Even if a country had a few, they were absolute national trump cards. Therefore, only 2A and A-Class users were actively moving about in the world. With all that considered, there was no way a measly organization like the Black Glove would deny him face!

He dialed a number, the very same one that Yu Feiyu had called earlier! This phone belonged to Laine, not Yu Feiyu.

When Laine saw the caller ID displaying a New York area code, he answered it with a perplexed expression.

"I’m looking for Thomas. Put him on the phone right this instant!" Smith commanded with an imperious tone, acting as high and mighty as a god or an emperor.

Within the Black Glove, although Thomas was the strongest and held absolute power, he was relatively steady. Laine, on the other hand, was the most deranged of them all—a true warmonger and a bloodthirsty fanatic.

"I don’t care who you are, Thomas is busy banging your father in the ass..." Laine spewed out a crude profanity. When people from Migu Country cursed, it invariably involved something along the lines of sodomizing someone’s relatives.

"You’re courting death! Do you know who you’re talking to? You’re dead!" Smith roared. He thought, "That bastard dares to curse at me! Doesn’t he know how to spell the word ’death’?"

"Fuck you!" After throwing out another curse, Laine simply hung up the phone!

Listening to the dial tone, Smith was so stunned he couldn’t react for a moment. That bastard actually dared to hang up on him?

Furious, he slammed both fists onto his desk!

CRACK CRACK CRACK.

Fissures spiderwebbed across the solid wood desk. The veins bulged vividly on Smith’s arms and pulsed violently on his forehead. After a brief moment, he suppressed his rage and dialed the number again.

This time, the moment the call connected and before the other party could speak, he shouted, "I am Smith, a Platinum Member of the North American Superpower Association! Please put Thomas on the phone!"

"The North American Superpower Association?" Laine was surprised this time. They knew about this guild; it was all over the internet! They just hadn’t joined it. Who knew if they would be taken away and dissected for research after joining? Therefore, they never dared to join recklessly. Yet now, the other party had taken the initiative to call them!

"May I ask what this is about?"

"Are you Thomas?" Smith demanded with a sinister tone.

"No, no, no, I’m not Thomas."

"Then put Thomas on the phone!"

"But he’s not with me right now!" Laine replied helplessly.

"Then give me his number!" Smith snapped in frustration.

Laine wanted to refuse, but remembering the prestige of the guild, he realized it could lead to immense trouble if something went wrong. So, he patiently gave Thomas’s phone number to the man!

"Kid, I’ll remember you!" Smith threatened before hanging up the phone!

"Fuck you." Laine cursed, but he felt a lingering sense of worry. The Superpower User Guild... a Platinum Member had to be incredibly powerful, right?
