Chapter 968

Everyone was dumbfounded.

'Wait, she's only done one scene and you think she can win an Oscar already?'

'That's the most prestigious acting award in the world!'

Xiang Yi smiled and said calmly, "Let nature take its course, it will happen naturally."

Mu Si gave her a thumbs up and said, "Okay, keep it that way."

The cameraman interjected, "Director, do we need to shoot a second scene?"

"Do we still need to reshoot this!?!" Mu Si answered his own question. "No! This is the effect I want! "

Everyone was speechless.

In fact, one-third of the filming for "Martial Arts" had already been completed. Unfortunately, the previous male lead had gone back to inherit the family fortune and become the king, so they had no choice but to reshoot it.

However, the crew knew Mu Si's temper very well.

He was a perfectionist who pursued perfection and would not allow even the slightest flaw. He had even filmed dozens of scenes over the course of several days.

It was also because of his seriousness that the quality of each of his productions was commendable and the box office sales were also guaranteed.

They didn't expect him to approve of two actors so much …

Passing the scene in one take … In the past, they wouldn't even have dared to think about it!

…

Although there was a confidentiality agreement, there were too many people at the scene and it was inevitable that someone would leak some information.

As soon as the scene was completed, a gossip post appeared on the Melon forum.

Title: [Rumor has it that Director Mu Si praised Xiangyi for being able to win an Oscar, shocking my entire family …]

Content: [My best friend's classmate's friend is an extra in 'Martial Arts'. Today, he got lucky and acted as a pilgrim in a Taoist temple. He even filmed it with Shi Sui and Xiangyi.

He said that Xiangyi's acting skills were superb and Director Mu praised her to the skies. He even said that she could win an Oscar …]

[Shocking my entire family. Melon friends, what do you think of Xiangyi's acting skills?]

…

There were all sorts of replies below.

— — [Brag, brag, brag]

— — [Whitewashing posts are here so soon? How long are they going to market her silly and sweet acting skills?]

— — [Rumor has it, Xiangyi's acting skills in that Xianxia drama were actually very delicate. Being silly and sweet is just a character design, but her acting skills are really good!]

— — [Yes, I also want to say, where are you going to find a pure, lustful, sweet, and pretty girl like Xiang Yi? You guys should at least find someone who can fight like her!]

…

A gossip marketing account uploaded the post to Weibo and even attached a screenshot of Xiangyi's dozens of failed takes.

In comparison, the contrast was too strong.

How could she win an Oscar with such eyesore acting skills?

Sorry for insulting the Oscars, right?

Right at this moment, "Martial Arts" posted a short video clip. It was the scene of Xiangyi and Shu Xinglan's duel in the drama.

Although it wasn't a full-length film, the video was still well edited. It was only thirty seconds, but whether it was the level of the camera or the smoothness of the martial arts moves, everything was smooth and the rhythm was tight.

With the accompaniment of the music, it immediately felt like a blockbuster!

As soon as the video was released, the netizens who had just mocked Xiangyi's naive and sweet acting skills began to question her.

— — [Are these two people not using stand-ins??]

— — [Holy sh * t, Xiangyi didn't even use any pressure, but she just stepped on a tree and somersaulted?? Oh no, now the foreigners will definitely think that everyone in China knows Kung Fu …]

— — [Oh my god! The martial arts moves in this set of scenes were superb. It was as if we had returned to the most glorious era of martial arts films! It was filmed with both Chinese characteristics and cinematic artistry! I bet 05 cents that Xiangyi will become a god in this movie!]
