Chapter 162 - 161: Thrown Out the Front Door
Chapter 162 - 161: Thrown Out the Front Door
The bodyguards stood expressionless before them. Hearing them threaten to force their way in, the guards drew their stun batons in unison. This terrified Yang Hui and the others, sending them screaming and stumbling backward.
Despite the distance, Yang Hui and her group were so loud that Yang Bingyu heard everything.
Fearing this would affect her mood, Ye Xuan immediately started the car and urged her to get in. "Get in. Let’s head to the hospital. Ignore those crazy women."
In Ye Xuan’s eyes, Yang Hui and her cronies were no different from lunatics. The more you engaged with them, the harder they bit and the further they pushed.
"Let’s go. I’m going to meet my aunt and see exactly what they want."
To Ye Xuan’s surprise, Yang Bingyu didn’t get into the car. Instead, she walked straight toward Yang Hui. Startled, he quickly caught up with her.
"Aunt Hui, what are you trying to do here?" Yang Bingyu asked calmly, stopping five meters away.
Seeing that she had finally come out, Yang Hui and the others grew even more arrogant, pointing their fingers right at her face and hurling insults.
"PTUI! You little bastard, you uneducated wretch! Who’s your aunt? I have absolutely no blood relation to you!
"I’ll never understand why the third brother brought you back from the orphanage in the first place. The old man treated you so well, and this is how you repay him?
"Not only did you swallow up the Yang family’s assets, but you even kicked your cousin out of the company. Yang Bingyu, oh, Yang Bingyu! Is that something a human would do?"
Yang Hui’s words reached Ye Xuan’s ears, making him extremely displeased. This woman was truly tired of living to dare spout such insults.
"You—"
"It’s fine. I’ll handle it myself." Ye Xuan had just been about to step in and teach Yang Hui a lesson, but Yang Bingyu stopped him. Seeing her firm gaze, he had no choice but to suppress his anger for the moment and let her deal with it.
"It doesn’t matter if you don’t acknowledge me, as long as Grandpa does. Besides, I think Grandpa made the right decision in handing the company and assets over to me.
"After all, you’re just a bunch of lazy, greedy, useless parasites with no redeeming qualities. If the Yang Group were handed over to you, it would only be a matter of time before it went bankrupt.
"Also, I fired Liu Maohua because he deliberately colluded with my secretary to frame me over the construction site incident.
"Trash like him deserves to be fired. And it won’t just be him. I’m going to root out all the leeches in the company one by one—people like Xu Fei, Zhang Xing, and Wang Wei."
Yang Bingyu spoke with absolute authority, her stance unyielding. Her words infuriated Yang Hui so much that her face turned beet red with rage.
The others all paled when they heard the names she listed. Those individuals were inextricably linked to their own interests. They were all in the same boat—if one fell, they all fell.
"You wouldn’t dare! Yang Bingyu! Who gave you the nerve?" Yang Hui completely exploded, her finger trembling as she pointed at her.
"I already fired Liu Maohua. What makes you think I wouldn’t dare?" Yang Bingyu raised an eyebrow, entirely unfazed.
"You bitch! Go to hell!"
Her dismissive attitude utterly enraged Yang Hui. With a scream, the older woman shoved through the crowd and charged straight at Yang Bingyu. She reasoned that since Yang Bingyu was pregnant, knocking her down would at least severely injure her, if not worse.
Ye Xuan hadn’t expected this woman to be so malicious. He quickly stepped forward, shielding Yang Bingyu behind him. Then, he raised his foot and kicked Yang Hui, sending her flying backward.
"Who else dares to lay a hand on Bingyu? Step forward," Ye Xuan said, sweeping a cold gaze over the crazy women. A single look from him was enough to freeze the troublemakers in their tracks.
"AH! I’ll fight you to the death!"
Knocked to the ground, Yang Hui still refused to give up. Gritting her teeth, she lunged up and shoved Ye Xuan with surprising speed.
Ye Xuan hadn’t expected her to be able to stand up after taking a kick from him. He instinctively dodged backward, which caused the crazed Yang Hui to clip the corner of Yang Bingyu’s clothes.
Yang Bingyu stumbled and collapsed to the ground.
His pupils dilated in horror. He delivered another kick, sending Yang Hui flying again, then scrambled to help Yang Bingyu up. "Bingyu, are you okay? Does it hurt anywhere?"
Despite the deep twinge of pain in her lower abdomen, Yang Bingyu felt a rush of warmth in her heart upon hearing his anxious tone. "My... my stomach hurts. Please, take me to the hospital," she said, her brows knitted as she clutched her aching belly.
Hearing her complain of stomach pain terrified Ye Xuan. He immediately scooped her up from the ground and sprinted toward the car in wide strides.
Having taken two kicks from Ye Xuan, Yang Hui was finally unable to get back up. But seeing the pained expression on Yang Bingyu’s face, she burst into maniacal laughter. "Thank God! You’d better miscarry and bleed out! I hope this bitch can never have a child for the rest of her life!"
Her vicious words made Ye Xuan’s fists clench. If he didn’t have to rush Yang Bingyu to the hospital right now, he truly would have thrown this woman into Elephant Country to be a prostitute.
He started the car to leave, but the other women deliberately blocked the path, refusing to let him pass. He blared the horn frantically, but it was useless. Seeing Yang Bingyu’s expression twist in growing agony, he finally hardened his heart, slammed his foot on the gas, and charged directly at them.
At first, the women stood their ground recklessly. But when they realized he had no intention of slowing down, it dawned on them that he truly intended to run them over.
Panic set in. Abandoning all regard for their image, they dove out of the way, falling face-first onto the ground. One who was too slow had her leg directly run over by his tires.
Ye Xuan frowned, but he didn’t stop. He sped straight out the main gates.
The agonized screams of the woman with the crushed leg echoed endlessly through Yunju Mountain Villa. Seeing this, the other women were frightened out of their wits. Realizing that Ye Xuan was completely ruthless, they no longer dared to cause trouble. They scattered, abandoning the injured Yang Hui and the woman with the broken leg.
Yang Hui and the injured woman were then mercilessly tossed out of Yunju Mountain Villa by the bodyguards, left lying on the road in an incredibly pathetic state. Although Yunju Mountain Villa was located in a prime area, the entire mountaintop belonged to the Yang family, so hardly anyone ever came this way.
The woman with the broken leg had already passed out. Yang Hui’s entire body throbbed in excruciating pain; she felt as if all her internal organs were twisted into knots.
If she didn’t get to a hospital soon, she was done for.
"Someone, please save me!" she silently pleaded.
Staring up at the sky, Yang Hui’s heart was filled with despair. Just then, a shadow fell over her. Backlit by the sun, she couldn’t make out the person’s face.
"Save me. Please, save me!" As if grasping at a lifeline, Yang Hui desperately grabbed the newcomer’s ankle, begging pitifully.
