Izuku's Pov

Is he gonna say it!? What did he call me!? I want to know soooo baaaaad! He only calls me Izuku cause I told him to! It's not fun when people just do what you tell them to!
Blondie was silent for a moment but he then tried to look down, however, I held his head in place looking into his gorgeous crimson, ruby eyes. He finally stared back into my emerald green eyes. I could feel him gulp and then whisper something under his breath. I raised a brow and stared down on him.
"What was that Kitty? Tell me? Please?" I pleaded, softly rubbing his cheek with my thumb. He seemed to relax a little but not by much.
"I-It wa-was De-Deku-u..." He mumbled and leaned into my touch. I smiled,
"Like Dekiru?" He tilted his head questionly, which made me think that he may need some schooling.
But I smiled and pecked his forehead. He silently gasped but leaned into the touch none the less.
"Call me whatever you want, KitKat." I could see him physically shiver and blush as I said that nickname.
That's the one that sticks then~
"Want to know what your reward is now Kitkat?" I soothed into his ear as I rubbed soft circles onto his back. Closing his eyes he nodded silently and I could see him almost fall asleep in my hold. I chuckled and kissed his temple.
"I can't tell you if you fall asleep Kitty~" I teased, he whined but stopped as soon as he started to make the sound. I frowned.
How much has that woman messed him up?
"Why'd you stop Kitty?~ I like that sound~" He opened his eyes and looked up at me with a little sparkle in his eyes. I smiled genuinely and kissed his forehead. He jumped at that, probably because he wasn't expecting it but he liked it none the less.
"Now, your reward is~" He looked at me, with the most innocent eyes that I have ever seen, as I started to hype up the reward I was going to be giving him. He was going to be so surprised!
"A little trip outside!" I sang as I hugged him tightly, I felt him stiffen up, that worried me. I broke the hug then looked down on him.
"What's wrong, Kitkat?" He looked at me with his soft crimson red eyes that slowly turned glassy as he looked down. I pouted as he isn't telling me what was bothering him and started to stroke the hair out of his face while watching his ears droop a little and his tail swish back and forth.
"I've...ne-never...be-been ou-outsi-side be-for-fore..." He muttered, I immediately soften and awe at him while griping him close.
"Don't worry honey~ I'll be there the whole entire time! And I'll tell you anything you want to know. Is that okay Baby?~" He flushed then buried his head into my chest. A muffled 'okay' being spoken as he did so.
How can anyone treat something this cute so badly!? 🥺
"Okay baby~" I pecked his head and slowly stood up, he flinched a little, trying to get out of my arms but I held him still. His legs were wrapped around my waist, I took his arms and wrapped them over my shoulders so he had something to grab onto if he started to slip. He looked confused and tried to get down again, his legs losing their grip around my waist. I narrowed my eyes and looked at him.
"KitKat, don't get off, stay." I spoke with a hint of coldness seeping through. He jumped and looked me in my eyes, I could see him gulp and I took that as him being scared. I awed at him and nuzzled my head into his blonde locks. Soaking in the caramel scent that seemed it would always be around him. Not that I'm complaining.
"But first we need to get you into proper clothes." While saying that I went to 'our' bedroom and opened the door, heading inside to find Mina on the floor passed out, looking exhausted. I blink once then twice and then look down at my little Kitty.
"KitKat?" He looks up at me from burying his head into my chest.
"...Hmm...?" He hummed in confusion, I smiled then asked.
"Did you leave Mina without telling her?" He tensed up, his eyes widened slightly and deep into his adorable sharp crimson eyes, I saw a hint of fear...
"Y-Yes...so-sorry si-sir..." I narrowed my eyes at him and stopped smiling. I could feel his breathing pick up, becoming heavier and shorter.
My eyes widened as I carefully placed him on 'our' bed, sitting myself down infront of him on the floor, I held his hands as I spoke in my most comforting voice I had.
"Hey~ hey~ calm down Kitty~ you're fine~ you're not in trouble~ I just wanted to know, no need to panic~" I soothed, rubbing my thumb over his knuckles, I could see his breathing start to stabilise and so I quickly pulled him into a hug, ruffling his blonde locks and carefully scratching behind his ears.
I then soon felt a vibration coming from him so I looked down to see him in a content 'sleep'. (He wasn't asleep but was at the same time, idk what to call it 🤷♀️) I smiled and continued rubbing behind his ears, it seemed like he loved it, he let his purrs roam free and I fell hard for it. It must mean that he feels safe in my arms.
Smiling warmly, I had started walking to my back-garden, slowly strolling through windy hallways and breathtaking rooms. Though, since I have been living in this house for 6 years, it did barely anything. I just merely glanced here and there.
I made it to the back entrance with the sleepy kitty in my arms, his soft breath hitting my neck making shivers of delight crawl up my spine.
How did I get so attached already...? It has only been a day...
I carefully shook my little baby awake, making sure I didn't drop him.
"Hey KitKat~" I whispered into his ear, him scrunching up his face adorably at my hot breath hitting his soft skin.
"Mnnn...?~" He moved his hand and swatted it just above his ear, his eyes still closed, buring his head further into my chest.
Chuckling deeply, I opened the door and stepped outside. It was a spacious garden, a little mini-fountain in the centre with green grass surrounding it, the bushes were high and the flowers in bloom, after all it is spring, birds were chirping and the sun was just climbing itself over the hedge surrounding this fine garden.
I took in a deep breath of morning air and sighed. It had been so long since I came out just to enjoy the beautiful nature but now this little one can do so with me.
"Kitty~ wake up KitKat~" I soothed into his ears, that seemed to do the trick on waking him up as well as his face facing towards the sun. He slowly blinked his eyes open a sudden yawn coming in. I was gawking at his beauty, how can he be so beautiful so early in the morning? I almost spilt a tear.
"Mnn...?~" He hummed rubbing the sleep from his eyes then looking up at me with such innocence. I literally cried just then. He panicked.
"Ah! Wha-what's that wa-water comi-coming from you-your eyes!? Ar-are you hurt!? Pu-Put me do-down! I wa-wanna he-help!" He frantically tries to crawl out of my arms, but when he looked down he saw-
"GREEN!?"
I chuckled at his antics as he held onto me tighter.
"Wha-what's that gree-green stuff!? St-Stop laughing!" I couldn't help it, be was so cute! I couldn't stop laughing. He then punched my shoulder and pouted. My laughing died down a bit and when it did I think Katsuki finally realised what he did cause as soon as I could see properly he was biting his lip his eyes closed tightly while his arms were up in a defensive pose.
I furrowed my brows and held him tighter, he seemed to flinch, but he didn't say anything.
Slow and steady Izuku, slow and steady...
Taking in a deep breath I walked to a little patio by the door and stood there in the shade, with KitKat in my arms, he was trembling like a mad man in an insane asylum.
I slowly put him down on the hard wooden floor, he was barefoot so I made sure he wouldn't get any splinters before holding him by his waist and rocking him side to side singing a little song.
It always calmed me down when my mother sang this same exact song...it should calm him down too.
"Come little children
I'll take thee away
Into a land of enchantment
Come little children
The times come to play
Here in my garden of shadows
Follow sweet children
I'll show thee the way
Through all the pain
And the sorrow
Weep not poor children
For life is this way
Murdering beauty and passions
Hush now dear children
It must be this way
Too weary of life
And deceptions
Rest now my children
For soon we'll away
Into the calm and the quiet."
I finished singing and noticed he had stopped quivering and was just holding onto me tightly, his breathing calming down. I smiled and kneeled down jnfront of him, now looking up at him.
"Don't worry my little KitKat, I'll never lash out on you for being scared. It's part of being who you are, I'm scared sometimes, it's okay." His beautiful crimson eyes stared into mine and I could see them getting glossy. Smiling I pulled him into a tight hug, us both kneeling on the ground, with him basically in my lap, but I wouldn't have it any other way...
I cooed softly in his ears as he tried to muffle his sobs by burying his head into my shoulder. It was adorable, but I wanted him to enjoy being outside for the first time so I slowly stood up and wrapped his legs around my waist, he just held onto my shoulders tighter, not looking up.
I smiled then walked back onto the grass. I was now in the middle of the garden right next to the fountain, I think Kats could hear the flow of water so he peaked his head out from my shoulders to see what it was.
I could hear his gasp but then he hid in my shoulder again. I chuckled then tried to put him down on the grass, he held tighter and whimpered. Grinning, I then placed him down quickly so he had no chance to protest.
He froze up, his eyes wide open with him still clutching at my shirt. I was concerned so I lightly pet his head right behind his ears, he seemed to like that. He snapped out of it and looked down at his feet. His head turned slightly and he looked confused.
"What?" I asked him concerned on what he might of thought.
"Why's it soft...? Sh-Shouldn't it be sharp...? It's pointy..." He pointed at the grass serious in every way. But I couldn't help the little laughter. He was too adorable.
"That-Thats called grass! And-and it is soft! It's supposed to be!" I tried to speak with fits of giggled in between. He looked genuinely confused or as I like to say confuddled.
He them looked behind me at the fountain and his eyes widened in shock.
"Izuku it's behind you! Watch out!" He crouched down covering his head while his tail wrapped itself around him and his ears came down straight away.
I giggled then poked my hand into the water.
"You mean this?" I said jokingly but he took it seriously.
"Yes! Get away! It might hurt you!" He screamed in pure terror, looking up at me with tears now forming in his eyes. I snickered then grabbed his hand with my non-wet hand and pulled him towards me.
"So if I~" I put his hand under the water and looked at his reaction.
"AAAAHHHHHHH! IZUKU! LET GO! IT'S GOING TO HURT ME!" I full on laughed and pulled his hand back out while pulling mine out too, bringing him away from the fountain.
"Sweetie, it's an inanimate object, it can't hurt you, look all we are now is wet! No harm no foul!" I laughed out but pulling him in close his chest up against mine.
He whined then shoved his head into my chest murmuring something. I raised a brow.
"What was that KitKat?" He pouted then looked up at me.
"You're a big jerk."
He is getting it.
