Chapter 12

Narrator's Pov

"DEKUUU!!!-"

A loud scream echoed from the garden. Both Izuku and Dabi tensed up, Izuku let out a short breath before sprinting away towards the garden.
"Ah!- hey! I'm still not done talking!" Dabi yelled after him. Izuku replied as he sprinted away.

"I DON'T CARE!" Dabi huffed out a breath of air and looked over to the bushes, knowing that he was going to be taking the blame for this.

"So...Dabi...you failed...again..." Dabi quivered in his boots. The person stepped out from behind the bushes and Dabi shrunk as they stepped closer and closer.
"Don't fail me again...and Toga you can step out from the other bush...I know you were spying on us." Toga stepped timidly out from the bush Izuku was standing next to just moments ago.

"S-Sorry boss...y-you were just doing this whole secret thing! And I-..." She shut her mouth as the person glared at her, backing down and looking at her feet as she fiddled with her fingers.

They huffed then looked over to where Izuku ran to.

"Now why did that...neko scream for him..?"

~WITH IZUKU~

He ran towards the garden at his top speed to find out why his neko was screaming his name. He soon reached the garden after tripping on his own foot a few times, slowing him down. But what greeted him made him mad. He was infuriated.

Because standing right in front of him was a muddy, bloody, wet, happy, spiky haired blonde right infront of him. He took in a deep breath counted to ten and opened his eyes back up, glaring at the neko who was now shaking in fear.

"What. Happened." Izuku spoke with venom as he took a step closer to the cautious and fearful half human, who almost unnoticeably leaned away from the greenette in an attempt to get back.

"I-I...well...y-you see...I-...uhm...uh..." Katsuki stuttered as he started to slowly walk backwards, Izuku following suit.

"Well? Spit it out. Now." Breathing in a sharp gasp of air Katsuki, noticing he was just about to fall into the fountain, balanced himself and stopped just before he actually fell.

"...Master...I-...I'm sorry..." Katsuki looked at the ground in shame, his tail and ears pointed towards the ground as he held his hands behind him, almost in a bow. Izuku raised a green eyebrow.

"What's with the 'master'? Are you comfortable with it? If you aren't then don't. If you are okay, call me it it you want I don't care." He spat while looking down at the fear stricken but also confused blonde.

"H-Hah...?" Izuku sighed and crossed his arms as he scanned the neko once more before trying to explain why he was mad and that it shouldn't result in 'punishment'.

"Look, Kitten, I want you to know that I wasn't going to hit you just because I was a little upset. I was going to calm down and ask you why this had all happened." He gestured to all of Katsuki as Katsuki also scanned himself, realising that he was filthy and sore.
"But Baby Kit, you can't just go screaming my name like that, it made me worry and think you were in grave danger! I just..." Izuku sighed as he stepped closer to the neko who was no longer trying to get away.
"I know we haven't known eachother that long and you probably just want to go back to your mother-"

"NO!"

A tear slipped from Katsuki's eyes as he looked at Izuku, taking in his features while fiddling with his fingers, stepping from one foot to the other. He did not want to go back to his mother. And he definitely didn't mean to shout.

"Do you really not want to go back to her?" Katsuki nodded and looked down, as if his feelings weren't going to be validated. Sighing, Izuku then took Katsuki's hand and lead him back inside.

Walking through hallways Katsuki was yet to explore they both traversed through the house? Mansion? Katsuki did not know, as with most things...and finally they stopped outside of a room Katsuki also didn't recognise.

Izuku opened the door and a bright light hit them in the face, Katsuki flinching while Izuku kept on walking inside. Since Katsuki's eyes were closed due to the bright white light he couldn't see anything as he was lead to something soft and made to sit down.

His eyes slowly adjusted to the room and when they did he examined where he was. It was a plain white room with a few cabinets, a desk, some plain, white beds and a small window letting some light come in. It was small but it was probably used less often than the other rooms he has seen.

Izuku was away searching in some cabinets for some things he did not know of but he knew Izuku wanted them and it was best not to disturb him. He seemed to have found what he was looking for and returned to Katsuki's side. He looked into Katsuki's crimson red eyes before gripping onto his arm and wiping it with a wet cloth.

It stung against Katsuki's injuries but it was nothing that bad, he's had worse. Izuku then took his other arm and wiped that one too. And once he was done he looked back at the blonde neko's face then took out another wet cloth and started to wipe his face.

Katsuki closed his eyes and tried to move away from the rough touching but Izuku held him in place and kept on wiping.
"Blegh-" Izuku raised a brow and stopped wiping.

"Did you just lick the wipe?" There was an awkward silence before the neko nodded softly. This made Izuku chuckle, he then placed a gentle kiss onto Katsuki's nose and continued wiping. This had confused the blonde, wasn't he mad just a second before?

Izuku was soon done with cleaning Katsuki and his wounds. Moving away from him and chucking the wipe into a disposable bin, Izuku then brought out a red and white box and opened it next to Katsuki. He took out some tools and plasters to cover Katsuki's injuries. But Katsuki had never seen them before, he was internally scared but he had to put up with it. His master wanted him to go through with it, so he will.

"You don't need any stitches but still, be careful Kat, can you please tell me what happened?" Izuku spoke, he was trying to distract Katsuki from the oncoming pain. He lied when he said that Katsuki didn't need stitches, he had a deep cut along his upper arm and since Katsuki didn't look to be in a lot of pain there was no point in worrying him, he would've panicked and jumped away from the help Izuku was offering.

The blonde breathed in and out before starting to speak.
"There was a person." Izuku raised a brow and pulled out a needle and some thread.

"Do you know this person?" Izuku asked as he saw more blood spill out of the deep wound, he quickly wiped it away with another wipe and started to get to work.

"...No...their face was covered and they trie-" Katsuki hissed in pain and tried to look over his own shoulder to see what Izuku was doing.

"It's alright, you're fine, what did they try to do?" Izuku quickly diverted his attention again, to distract him and get him to tell him who was in his private garden. No one's allowed there.

"They tried to grab me but I dodged and...scratched them...am I in trouble?- ah...sorry..." Katsuki looked down and stared at his legs, playing with his fingers while he felt a sharp prick on his arm. He wanted to whine out in pain but he didn't want Izuku to punish him, he lowered his ears though.

"It's fine Kitten, you're not in trouble, just tell me what happened." He sewed the wound together as Katsuki started to explain.

"Well, I was sitting where you told me to stay, I then heard a rustling behi- ow..." Izuku looked up from his arm and smiled, softly petting Katsuki's ears, distracting him from the pain.

"What rustling?" The neko breathed in and out slowly and continued.

"There was rustling behind me, so I turned to look and I saw a person, dressed in all black, running towards me from the...green...plant things..." The greenette raised a brow.

"Do you mean bushes?" 4 more stitches left to go.

"Hm...I-I guess? But I dodged them when they pulled out a sharp object from their sleeve. They then went and stabbed me in my arm. It's not as bad as madam's punishments though, so it didn't hurt all that much." He winced again, then again tried to see what Izuku was doing. The greenette saw and took his chin, slightly pinching the wound so it wouldn't bleed more and turned Katsuki's head away.

"Stare at the wall and continue talking." He ordered, Katsuki followed through and continued talking.

"Ah w-well, then they pushed me and I hit my head on a hard vertical surface." Izuku raised his head at that, looking at Katsuki's head to verify if that actually did happen. He let go of the wound on his arm for just a second to search Katsuki's head for a bump or head injury. Seeing one just below Katsuki's left ear, frowning Izuku touched it slightly, seeing Katsuki's ear twitch and him flinch away violently.

Izuku sighed and lent back, he then went to patch up the rest of the wound so he didn't bleed out.
"I see that Kat, go on." Katsuki nodded slightly and continued with his story, kind of uncomfortable now with how he reacted with Izuku touching his bruise.

"O-Okay, so I pushed them off and tried to run away but they caught my leg and I fell down onto a...red flower...bush? And all the prickly parts cut me, but I was too focused on the person, that was just behind me, to notice. So I stood up and kicked their hand off of me, they let me go so I ran to the water thing you showed me earlier and tried to hide behind it, but they saw me and chased after me, pushing me inside. I was scared. I climbed out and turned to them, they then pushed me to the ground. I was underneath them. I tried to fight of my instincts that were kicking in but my instincts won. I-...I went feral...I bit them, hit them, scratched them, punched them, kicked them...it-...it felt...good...like...it took all of my problems and turned it into mush..." Izuku had stopped stitching a while ago and was now just watching Katsuki intently, listening to his every word.

"A-Anyway! After I nearly had them pass out. I freaked out. I had never revolted before but they got back up, hit me in my stomach and ran, so I screamed your name, hoping you would come, and you did, but they ran away. I thought I had single handedly chased away a bad guy so I was happy. Until I saw that you were angry, so I freaked out again, thinking that maybe what I had just done was wrong..." Katsuki was still staring at the wall, like Izuku told him to do, he didn't want Izuku to be upset.

"Okay...how about I wash away all that muck then we can go and sit in my office for a while, while I do my work? Hm? How does that sound?" Izuku hummed, walking to the front of Katsuki and helping him down from the bed.

Katsuki nodded shyly, jumping down eith Izuku's help and walked away with him, through the massive halls.
"...Am I in trouble?" Izuku turned to him and shook his head, smiling gently.

"No. Not now. Not ever."
