Chapter 7

Katsuki's Pov

Izuku left me alone with this...girl...I think she's called Mina? Anyways, she immediately had me try on every single outfit of Izuku's. Most were too baggy, and some actually could not fit me at all. But while I was exchanging clothes after clothes, I noticed that every time I took off my shirt, she looked at me like I was a poor animal that has been hurt. She tried to hide it by putting on a smile, but she couldn't hide it from me.

Anyway, after at least half an hour of trying on Izuku's clothes, she then made me wear only his big giant T-shirt. It was so big it went past my knees, and it was hanging down from my shoulder, so my collarbone was visible. Though my tail got in the way of the shirt, and it was actually lifting the shirt from covering my behind. So what Mina did was she gave me some laced pants to wear. I honestly know nothing about clothes and what a boy can wear or not, so I just wore them without a second thought. It was a little uncomfortable and a little itchy, but I didn't mind.

She then squealed, and I covered my ears that are now flushed against my head, and I whimpered. I hate loud noises...

She soon stopped, and I finally uncovered my ears and looked up at her questionly. Yes, I am shorter than her. She had a sheepish...smile? On her face, she put her hands behind her back while looking away. Why did she do that? Is this another thing I don't know?

"Sorry about that. I honestly don't know how to control my voice yet...hehe..." She apologised as she took a seat next to me.
"I-I-It's al-alright...I-I guess..." I speak quietly, trying not to make eye contact with her as I fiddle with my fingers trying to ease my nerves.

"Oh no, it's not, baby!" She comes in close and hugs me while I am really confused on why she called me 'baby'.
"B-Baby...?" She nods and tightens her grip on me.
"Because you're too precious for this world!" She kisses my forehead and then finally lets me go. She walks over to the closet and opens it, walking in.
"So! I need to find something for you to-" The rest of her mumbles faded to background noise as I focused on the door. I wanted to see him, I needed him, he was my comfort and my place to fall, I know I only met him yesterday but...why does my heart pick up everytime he touches me...? I wanted to know.

So, I stood up and quietly slipped out the room, seeing the two guards.

I stood there wondering what I was to do; they hadn't noticed me, and they were much stronger than me. I finally decided what to do and gave it a shot.
"Mrow~" I meowed and sat on the ground behind them. They turned around and awed at me. I smiled and headbutted one of their legs.
"Hah! He likes me better!" The man then pet me grinning at his coworker.
"Ugh...do you have to be competitive at 6:50 in the morning...?" The other spoke with a groan. I then quickly crawled to him, looked up at him, and turned my head to the side.
"Mrow?~" I then saw little stars appear in his eyes as he bent down to pet me. The other got annoyed and shoved him.
"Oi! This Kitty is mine!" The other growled and got back up and shoved him, too.
"Who said he was yours!?"

They then fought, and I quietly slipped away. I grinned; it still worked. I used to use that move on my mother when she wasn't that drunk, and she was crying. She always awed at me and hugged me, silently crying into my shoulder. I never knew why she was sad, but I always felt obliged to help her.

I followed Izuku's scent, he smelled of...I don't know what it is called or what it even is as I feel it is from nature...but it is comforting and I'll still follow it!

Soon, I came upon a room that Izuku's scent went into, and I tilted my head my tail swishing into a cane, as my ears went up trying to hear if he was on the other side.

"What could you have that I would want?"

Izuku!

I listen in on the conversation he is having with another person I don't know, trying to figure out what they were talking about and why Izuku was angry.

"We have information on something important to you~"

"Like...?"

"Oh...I don't know~"

"Your kitty cat~

I gasp, and everything went silent on the other side. I panic and start to back away from the door slowly, my eyes wide. Who knew of me? As far as I know only mother, Izuku, Mina and the two that took me here knew of me, but anyone of them could of told them...Izuku told me that I was a secret to all but a few and it should stay that way if I wanted to be safe.

I do. I want to be safe. I still...don't really know what that means...but...if Izuku said I should be safe...then...I want to be...

Suddenly, I heard footsteps on the other side of he door, and I froze, trying not to breathe or make any sudden movements.

Maybe they'll go away? What if it's Izuku? Izuku told me I'd be a good Kitty if I stayed in the room...does this mean I'm bad...? Will I get punished!?

I started to hyperventilate, and my feet were frozen to the ground. I could not move for the fear of being found out. But the footsteps went away...maybe they stopped looking...? Maybe it was safe to breathe again...?

Just as I let out a deep sigh of relief the door then shot open, my eyes widened as I saw Izuku there holding it open with his eyes also wide, looking down on me.

We were in silence. He seemingly calmed down and took a step closer to me. I flinched and took a step back. I looked up to him to see the slight bit of hurt in his eyes.
"Katsuki? What are you doing here? Where are the guards? Where's Mina? How'd you get out?" Izuku said as he then stepped closer to me and wrapped his long muscular arms around my slim frame.
"I-um...I-I...uh..." He softly smiled at me and pulled me in closer to his large chest, his rough calloused hands digging their way into my hair and stroking my ears. His hands have always looked like they could crush bones with just a slight amount of pressure. But with the way his hands glided softly through my hair, deplenishing my hair of any tugs made it seem as though him being a mafia leader was impossible.

"Shh~ it's okay, Kitty~ you can tell me~" I sighed and relaxed in his hold.
"I-I...m-missed...y-y-ou..." I spoke, though I doubted he heard it with how soft and quiet it was. He chuckled against my forehead and kissed it, letting his soft lips linger as he whispered against my smooth skin.
"Oh yeah?~ tell me how much you missed me Kitty~" I shivered in his tight hold as a shaky gasp left my mouth.
"A-A-A l-lot..." I whispered in response, and I felt him smirk against my skin. He pecked it and pulled back.
"Be a good Kitty and go back to Mina for me?~ I'll give you a treat once I come back, okay? Sweetie~" Izuku tried to tempt me, but I have grown to know not to trust it. Mother always tried to tempt me with less beatings if I did something right, but that wasn't the case at all. She just beat me more.

I shake my head no and grip onto his torso even tighter while burying my head into his chest.
"Why don't you bring him in here, the conversation is about him anyways~" A man that I do not know says, stepping out from behind the door. I hear a rumble coming from Izuku's chest and I bury my head further in, I could hear his heartbeat, it was kinda erratic but that just ment he needed calming down. I then started to rub my head over his chest in hopes of calming him down. It seemed to work as his heart stopped beating as fast and he started stroking my hair softer than before.

"What do you want Dabi...?" I couldn't see anything as Izuku was pushing my head into his chest in a way that I couldn't see anything but him.
"I want him to join, simple enough, he should know about the things going on in there, afterall it is concerning him~" I heard another rumble form in Izuku's chest so I flicked my tail up and wrapped it around the hand that was around my waist, he seemed less tense so I purred in his grasp a little bit and all tension seemed to disappear from him as he still looks at that 'Dabo?' person.

"Tch! Fine...but he sits with me and he doesn't talk to you and you don't talk to him! Got it!?" I nudge him with my head and he stops shouting, his stroking becoming more frantic but I could deal with it.
"Fine~ fine~ I just need to talk to you anyways~" Dabo said as his footsteps fade away into the room.

I heard Izuku groan as he then places his head ontop of mine making me flatten my ears. I purrow in question as he then just looked at me and smiled. I suddenly felt like I wasn't on the ground anymore and so I looked down. I was in Izuku's arms as he lifted my legs to wrap around his waist. I yelped at the weird position I was in as he just shushes me and says sweet nothings into my ear as we- no he walks into the room.

I whimper as he then grips me tighter so I don't fall.

This is so weird! I've never been carried! And I've never been in this position before!

He then sits down and places me onto his lap, wrapping his big arms around my waist. My head was squished into his chest as he then stroked my tail, my head, and back, probably glaring at the guy across from us.

I pureed in his arms as he then loosened up and he just started to fiddle with my tail.
"So...what information...?" He asked as I lay my head onto his shoulder and nuzzled into his exposed neck.
"That Mitsuki Bakugou seemed well pleased to get rid of him. We have records of him and what scientists experimented on him to make him into a cat" I was surprised.

How'd they get that information?

"Give it to me and you might just live" Izuku coldly spat at him, one of his hands left me and reached out. I tried to calm him down by purring into his neck but it really wasn't working all that well anymore.

"No~ I think I'll hold onto it~ unless...~" Izuku tensed up and stopped messing with my tail, my tail and ears were flattening on my head as Izuku then gritted his teeth together and spat out.
"...Unless...?" I could feel their gaze on me as I tried my best to calm down Izuku before he snapped, but it wasn't working!

"You give us him and we'll give you his information~"

That was it, the snap...

Izuku jumped up, me sliding off of his lap onto the floor as Izuku then marched around the table heading straight for Dabo. I panicked.

"STOP!"
