Chapter 101: Human Demon

Boom!

Before the words even faded, a thunderous explosion erupted in the ruined hall. Chen Chong gave Diris no time to react. The large iron plates beneath his feet bent and caved in violently. With explosive propulsion, he lunged over twenty meters and brought a fist crashing down toward the horrified Diris!

It was like a meteor hurtling straight at him. Diris was terrified out of his wits. Yet in that instant, he had no time to make any other move. He could only raise both arms and cross them above his head to block!

Boom!

Wind howled and energy surged wildly. Chen Chong’s unnaturally thick iron fist slammed down between Diris’s arms. Diris’s eyes bulged suddenly. His left leg bent uncontrollably as his right foot retreated a step. He felt as if a mountain had smashed into him, and in an instant, his pale eyes burst with bloodshot veins!

How could he recover so quickly?!

A silent roar erupted in his heart. In that moment, it felt like being struck by a pile driver. Diris’s already incompletely recovered body trembled crazily. His Original Force seemed to scatter under Chen Chong’s punch. His bones, muscles, and even every hair trembled unbearably. He just felt as if he were carrying a mountain!

But Chen Chong before him paid no mind to his inner turmoil. Looking down from above at the face contorted with bulging veins, Chen Chong said, “Again!”

As the words rang out, Chen Chong stepped forward as Diris retreated. His other hand clenched tightly, five fingers squeezing together. The resulting airflow sounded like an explosive blast as he brought it down with unmatched ferocity once more!

There was no gap between these two strikes. Chen Chong’s right arm had just vanished like lightning when his left arm already came chopping down. With every inch of his body violently shaking, Diris had absolutely no choice but to force his bulging veins to endure and block.

Boom!

Another thunderous sound! Agonizing pain shot through his arms as fierce gusts exploded against Diris’s face. His face turned blood-red. Clenching his teeth, his body shook violently, bones cracking. Under the intense vibration, scarlet snakes of blood surged from his mouth, eyes, ears, and nostrils, flowing down and making his face terrifyingly ghastly.

Pain pain pain pain pain pain!

After taking Chen Chong’s second punch, this was the only thought in his mind. Even the miraculous repair effect of the super-modified adrenaline could not keep up with the damage he was accumulating. The bones and internal organs that had not fully healed originally ruptured again, worsening his injuries.

Like the great waves of the Yangtze River, before the first wave subsided, the next had already risen. Staring at the retreating Diris forced to take his hammering blows, Chen Chong roared with laughter. His retracted muscular arm was like a solid iron pillar. Another punch, ignoring all obstacles, came smashing down at extreme speed and ferocity:

“Again!”

Boom!

“Again!”

Boom!

Chen Chong’s consecutive hammering strikes were faster than lightning. The violent gusts slashed fiercely across Diris’s blood-drenched face, sending countless droplets of blood flying. The iron plates beneath them caved in as if under the assault of a battering ram, bending and denting over an ever-widening area.

Thunderous booms exploded continuously in his ears, like bombs detonating above his head and between his arms. The muscles all over Diris’s body snapped, his internal organs ruptured. Breathing became difficult, and his ears went deaf!

Before his eyes was a sea of blood. His mind was blank, void of thought. All hatred and venom had vanished, leaving nothing. Under the severe pain, his consciousness had blurred. Only his body’s instinct commanded him to feebly fend off the storm-like bombardment.

In the corner, taking in this entire violent scene, Long Ying’s face twitched madly. Watching Chen Chong’s two-meter-tall figure, like a black iron Tyrannosaurus, crazily pound Diris, a chill surged from his heart:

How could this even be called a fight? This was clearly a father beating up his son!

Naturally unaware of Long Ying’s thoughts. Looking down from above at Diris, whose consciousness had blurred under his relentless barrage and was barely holding on by body instinct alone, now a bloody mess, Chen Chong showed a ferocious grin:

“Not bad!”

Boom boom boom!

Electric currents sparked, and True Qi burned and rampaged. The brutal words mixed with the exploding air. Driven by his Qi Blast Cannon Fist, Chen Chong unleashed unprecedented, terrifying power . A thunderous boom echoed, shaking the entire dining hall space!

Bang! Crack!

The next instant! Fierce winds swept in all directions. The dining hall trembled. The already overburdened iron plate floor shattered with a thunderous crash! Both of Diris’s arms and legs broke simultaneously. The fractured leg bones stabbed deep into the concrete beneath the iron plates, while the teeth he had clenched flew out one by one, mixed with blood. His entire upper body spurted blood like a burst leather bag. The sight was unbearably gruesome!

Chen Chong’s final punch used hardness against hardness, violence against violence. It pierced the iron plates, shattered the concrete and stone, breaking Diris’s arms and legs, knocking out his teeth, and nailing his entire body from head to toe into the ground!

In the empty space, the thunderous echoes of Chen Chong’s final words lingered, gradually giving way to silence.

Amidst the faint tremors of the dining hall, Long Ying’s eyelid twitched violently as he looked into the distance. The formerly insufferably arrogant Diris was now seemingly buried in the ground, only his blood-smeared head and small part of his shoulders visible. Almost all his teeth were gone. He had completely turned into a dead dog!

“Hah, hah hah…”

At that moment, a bellows-like breathing sound came from his throat. Despite suffering such terrifying injuries and blows, Diris still did not die immediately. His breath was faint. Seven streams of blood snaked down his face, making his once handsome features terrifyingly grotesque. His head moved with extreme difficulty and strain, as if trying to lift it: “You, you…”

“Aiya, sorry, I didn’t hold back.”

As the dust settled, Chen Chong placed a foot on the unresisting head of Diris. His face bore a fierce grin. He pretended to be polite and said:

“You’re way too useless. So, can you tell me your origins now? Tell me plainly, and I’ll send you on your way quickly. What do you think of my suggestion?”

But with Chen Chong’s foot stepping on his head, the current Diris was too weak to even feel any shame or fury. Instead, it was as if he had seen something extremely terrifying. His blood-covered face was unusually horrified. From his throat came broken, slurred sounds:

“Hu… Human Demon…”

“You, you… are a Human Demon!”

Hmm?

Chen Chong couldn’t help but pause. Looking at the seemingly head-traumatized, unconscious Diris, he asked:

“Human Demon? What’s that? Why call me a Human Demon?”

Yet Diris seemed to have been beaten into idiocy by Chen Chong’s last violent punch, repeating over and over:

“Hu… Human Demon!”

“…The mortal enemy of all, all survivors in the world…”

“…Don’t eat me, don’t eat me!”

Human Demon, the mortal enemy of all survivors? What the hell?

Chen Chong’s brow immediately furrowed. Staring at Diris, who seemed beaten mad and stupid, he coldly asked:

“What exactly is a Human Demon! Why call me a Human Demon?”

But no matter how he asked, Diris just looked at him with terrified eyes like an idiot, calling out repeatedly and incoherently:

“Human Demon! Human Demon!”

“Spare me, don’t eat me!”

“Kill you! Every power in the entire world, all the strong ones will come to kill you!”

Hearing Diris’s confused, rambling mutterings, Chen Chong’s frown deepened. He continued to ask about the organization behind Diris, but all he got were those same incoherent words.

After a round of questioning, Chen Chong couldn’t help but sigh.

It was obvious his violent punch earlier had likely damaged Diris’s brain. It was almost impossible now to pry any secrets from his mouth.

“Bad luck.”

Bang!

Seeing that this Transcendent Diris had seemingly been pounded into an idiot and could no longer provide any useful information, Chen Chong immediately abandoned the idea of interrogation. He kicked his head completely apart, brain matter splattering everywhere!
