Chapter 387 – Giant Tanker

When we left the pier where the flying boat had pulled alongside, several automobiles were waiting for us. We got into them and headed for the opposite side of the peninsula. That said, Dalian is located at the tip of the Liaodong Peninsula, so it was not a particularly long distance.

At the narrowest point of the city, the distance between the two shores is only about five kilometers. Since the flying boat had landed toward the outskirts of the harbor, we were already close to that narrow section, and it did not take long by car to reach the opposite shore.

Waiting for us there was a small car ferry, the type that had already become known to the public and had begun to be built and operated in other places as well. So we simply drove the cars straight onto the ferry.
