Chapter 409 – Just Before the Engagement Announcement

As it did every year, the Ootori family’s annual gathering, or party, was being held. The venue was the grand banquet hall of the Ootori Hotel.

For the most part, things were proceeding just as they did every year.

But for the Ootori family, there were several things to celebrate.

First was the announcement of my engagement to Haruto-san. There was no particular reason to keep it secret, so the announcement had already been included when the invitations were sent out.
