Chapter 244

After the break, everything slowed down.

They returned from Wyn and stayed at home with nothing to do.

When he was alone, Zong Jiu was usually quiet.

He didn't like to go out, and he hated crowded and noisy places. Therefore, as long as he wasn't on tour, he would spend most of his time in his high-end apartment. Only on rare occasions would he occasionally wander out to listen to concerts or dramas. It was also one of his uninteresting hobbies.

The apartment was well equipped and quiet. The private elevator led directly to the garage and wouldn't disturb others. If he was lucky, he wouldn't have to see his neighbors for the entire year.

If he wanted to eat, he could choose to order food or list the vegetables and fruits he needed on the apartment list. A few hours later, someone would deliver it to the door. It was just like sending a parcel, he didn't have to go downstairs.

Two months wasn't a long time but it wasn't short either. It was enough for Zong Jiu to familiarize himself with the existence of the demon.

During dinner, Zong Jiu fried a piece of steak for himself in the kitchen. He sprinkled some black pepper sauce on it and walked out with a knife and fork.

Just as he was enjoying his dinner, the demon suddenly walked over with something in his hand.

It was strange that Zong Jiu hadn't seen the demon the entire day.

Usually, the demon wouldn't be able to stay by his side. It was strange that he didn't see the demon today.

Magician lifted his head and was shocked to see a black cat.

Interestingly, the black cat's eyes were dark gold. When he looked into its eyes, he felt like he was looking at someone.

"A present."

The demon curled his finger and used the puppet strings to pull a stool over. He sat down intimately beside the white-haired youth and leaned half of his body lazily against the youth's back. He placed the cat on Magician's lap.

Zong Jiu did like cats. Or rather, he didn't really like them. He just felt that he only needed one of these animals. Occasionally, when he was bored, he would look at them and relax, just like the big orange cat that accompanied him when he was young.

Most importantly, cats were very obedient and didn't require much time. They could entertain themselves and were very suitable for lazy people like Zong Jiu who didn't like to walk their dogs.

But even though he liked it, Zong Jiu never planned to raise it.

Due to his schedule, he had to participate in various tours around the world every year. It was fine when he was on vacation, but once he went out, he might not come back for months. If he kept a cat at home, it would be a problem for the cat to eat, drink, and poop. Besides, Zong Jiu didn't like strangers entering his private territory, so it was impossible for him to give the key to his client's house to feed the cat.

Zong Jiu frowned. "Where did you get this cat?"

His fingers slid along the back of the black cat. The latter did not struggle, but allowed him to touch it obediently.

"I made it myself." The man buried his head in his shoulder and sniffed. "You don't need to feed it, and it won't shed hair."

Zong Jiu was speechless.

Compared to this, he was more interested in how this guy knew that he liked cats.

But today …

Zong Jiu looked down at his phone.

He rarely paid attention to a certain time or date, except for his work schedule. It was meaningless to pay attention to them. Most of the time, Zong Jiu was not a person who cared about dates.

But today was different.

Zong Jiu looked at the date and suddenly understood why the demon said that it was a gift.

Because today was Zong Jiu's birthday.

.....

As the saying went, one who was unaccountably solicitous was hiding evil intentions.

After Zong Jiu put the dishes in the dishwasher, took a shower, and walked out in his pajamas, the demon revealed his true intentions.

"Baby, I used a lot of magic to prepare this gift for you."

He lay on the bed lazily, one hand supporting his head. His eyes scanned the magician's body. "Shouldn't you make it up to me?"

Zong Jiu had just finished his shower. His wet hair was draped over his back, leaving streaks of water on his white pajamas. The light in the room was dim to begin with. With the light shining in, one could see the steam rising from the young man's body. It was as if his long and narrow eyes were hidden behind his back.

It looked … very appetizing.

Zong Jiu snorted and walked to the dining table.

Zong Jiu had learned something in the past two months. He was sure that he had lost a part of his memory.

But of course, he could not use this to verify with the demon. Instead, he planned to find out more information.

There was no doubt that they knew each other.

Although he did not know how much they knew each other, there was no doubt that no matter what happened in the past, their relationship had reached the point of negativity.

A small Black Forest cake was already placed on the table. It was framed on a silver plate, surrounded by cold black chocolate shavings.

It was one of Zong Jiu's few favorite flavors.

Zong Jiu rarely celebrated his birthday because his birthday was not the day he was born. Instead, it was the day he was adopted by the old nun. No one knew his real birthday.

No one knew how the demon knew about it, whether it was his birthday, his hobbies, or his gifts.

"How did you know?"

In the silence, Magician picked up a golden fork and slowly picked up a piece of cake.

The lights dimmed and at the same time, the candles on the cake lit up.

"It's not hard to find these, my dear magician."

The man's deep voice came close to Magician's, one hand skillfully circling Magician's side.

The white-haired magician looked down.

On the blue screen, Zong Jiu the Magician's personal fan club encyclopedia was flashing in the dark. It clearly listed his likes and dislikes, including age, birthday, height, weight, hobbies, and all kinds of other information.

This information was posted by his agent's company when he first became a magician. At that time, Zong Jiu was much younger and more honest. There was almost no fake information and everything was authentic.

Zong Jiu was speechless. He didn't know what to say for a moment.

The demon actually knew how to surf the internet.

Soon, Zong Jiu was not in the mood to care about this.

The demon, who had claimed that he didn't like sweet things, commented after tasting Magician's mouth, "Baby, you're so sweet."

According to the demon's twisted logic, since he gave Zong Jiu a gift on his birthday, Zong Jiu should return the favor.

"Demons have birthdays?" Magician raised a brow and sneered.

"Of course, it's today."

The demon said seriously, "So, my dear magician, what should you give me in return?"

"Or …"

The man leaned closer to him with ill intentions, his eyes flashing with a dark light. "Give yourself to me, how about that?"

.....

This kind of thing belonged to the pleasures of the mortal world and the physical body. Magician also pursued the thrill and happiness of the real world. As long as the demon could make him feel good, why not?

"My dear, I'm always the one helping you. Don't you think it's unfair?"

The demon hugged Magician's waist and licked his lips.

Zong Jiu looked down at him and rejected without hesitation. "No."

"This kind of thing is hard and unrewarding. It doesn't make me feel good. Why should I help you?"

It was Magician's reason.

If the demon didn't let him feel good first, Zong Jiu would never do such a bad thing. Even if he had lost his memory, he would try his best to gain the upper hand over his nemesis. Moreover, he often turned his back on Magician after he felt good. It had happened a few times and he had no morals.

But so what? Every time, the demon was the one asking for sex, not him.

But this time, the demon grabbed Magician's ankle and didn't let him fool him.

The temperature rose in the darkness. Behind the dark clouds, the cold thunder and lightning wrapped in golden light split people apart.

Magician shivered, his entire body convulsing. He closed his eyes and allowed the sweat on his forehead to flow down.

The demon loved this look of his and would tease him every once in a while.

"My dear, you're hot today. Are you having a fever?"

After two months, Zong Jiu could get rid of the unnaturalness of his first time and was used to it.

Of course, although he was used to it, he hadn't reached the stage where he would be indifferent to anything before he lost his memories. He wasn't even at the stage where he could turn the tables and take the initiative. In this aspect, he often couldn't win against demons who had no limits. Sometimes, he was so angry that he didn't want to listen to their sweet words, causing his entire body to turn red.

Just like now.

"… Ah … Ah … Go away!"

Magician grabbed his hair and was pressed against the demon's forehead. His panting and trembling were drowned in the demon's mouth.

When Magician regained his memory and recalled everything, who knew how he would feel?

The demon was overjoyed at the thought of it.

But in his heart, he didn't want it to end so soon.

Finally, Magician arched his back, his entire body bending into a beautiful arc.

But the demon pushed him to the end of the bed and began to grind even harder.

"Mephisto!"

Zong Jiu gritted his teeth and roared the name.

"What is it, my dear?"

The demon replied happily.

For a moment, he suddenly stopped. The wind stopped and the rain stopped.

It was during this short pause that Zong Jiu managed to seize the initiative.

He pushed the demon to the wall with incredible strength.

The black-haired demon pretended to rub the back of his head that didn't hurt at all.

"It's not a good habit to kick someone to the curb after they've outlived their usefulness. You're always like this."

Zong Jiu didn't reply. Instead, he stepped on the bed barefoot.

The demon grunted and his Adam's apple bobbed. It was so cold that Magician's toes trembled.

Looking at the messy bedsheets, a crossroad popped up in Magician's head. With a dark expression, he threw the bedsheets into the washing machine.

There were no more bedsheets to change tonight. He could only sleep on the sofa.

Of course, only Zong Jiu slept on the sofa. The demon was only fit to sleep on the floor.

The stars outside the window were bright.

The young man laid on the sofa and closed his eyes slowly. His hair fell to the side.

He was so tired that he didn't even bother to turn around and kick the person who had crept up on him.

In the silence and darkness, someone seemed to whisper something into his ear.

Happy birthday, my little Magician.
