Several days had passed.

The outcome of the negotiations was finally set in stone.

Lou Wei and Fu Qi had already learned from White Comet that all of the expeditionary fleet’s radical actions stemmed from the Gray Marsh faction’s own agenda.

In theory, the expeditionary fleet wouldn’t start a war so easily. However, it just so happened that an ambitious schemer had wormed his way in.

Initially, Lou Wei and Fu Qi had wondered how a commander like White Comet could let things spiral this far.

But once White Comet told them that Ye Ge had secretly approached her ahead of time to set a trap for Gray Marsh, the two more or less let it go.

Although they had no idea why Ye Ge had gone through all that trouble, they were certain that she had her reasons.

Since Ye Ge had her sights set on him, that Gray Marsh was doomed.

Although human civilization was advancing relatively quickly, it was still a long way from becoming a true interstellar civilization.

Now that a genuine interstellar civilization had arrived in the Solar System, and with the possibility of cooperation, they had to consider leveraging their help.

Under White Comet’s firm proposal, the entire expeditionary fleet could remain in the Solar System for an extended period, available for human civilization to study, while the fleet’s technical personnel would offer their knowledge.

In a sense, this represented an interstellar alliance between the Watcher Civilization and human civilization.

But Lou Wei and Fu Qi understood clearly that this was essentially handing over the entire fleet to Ye Yao like a toy, for her to do with as she pleased, no longer belonging to the Watcher Civilization.

Even whether White Comet herself could ever return to the Watcher Civilization depended on her whims.

For the survival of their civilization, this sacrifice was necessary!

When the negotiation results reached Bluestar, the response was nearly worldwide celebration.

Human civilization had gained an experienced and powerful ally, which would save them many detours in the future. It was a truly thriving prospect!

With the Super Demon King watching over them, becoming a mighty interstellar civilization was only a matter of time!

As for Gray Marsh, the “war criminal”?

Just a nobody by the roadside.

No one believed that someone who had provoked the Great Emperor Tong Yao could escape unscathed.

Back aboard the spaceship, Silver Frost threw herself into White Comet’s arms, expressing her longing.

“Commander White Comet!”

A flicker of tenderness passed through White Comet’s eyes as she reached out and stroked Silver Frost’s hair. They hardly looked like commander and subordinate.

They were more like sisters.

Then, White Comet shifted her gaze to the petite silver-haired girl stepping onto the spaceship for the first time: Ye Yao herself.

Although she had already observed Ye Yao through surveillance and Silver Frost’s perspective, meeting her in person now made her warmth and approachability much more tangible. She didn’t seem like someone who would destroy the world at all.

Yet even so, White Comet still sensed a subtle dissonance.

“This is our first time meeting face-to-face, isn’t it?”

Ye Yao blinked.

There were no outsiders around, and this was private space, so there was no need for pretense.

Besides, White Comet and Silver Frost shared a bond almost like a heart-to-heart connection. There was no point in putting on an act.

“You guess.”

White Comet was completely at a loss.

“So you have this side to you too. Which one is the real you?”

Ye Yao’s smile was utterly carefree. She stepped closer and looked up at White Comet’s magnificent face, radiating nothing but adorableness.

“What do you want me to do?”

White Comet sensed no threat in her words, only the feeling of facing a slightly mischievous Silver Frost.

It made one involuntarily want to go along with her wishes.

“Hehe~ You know? Sen Tong and Yi Ling have already considered me as the new interstellar overlord!

As a qualified overlord, I’m going to exercise my privileges!

Since your expeditionary fleet trespassed into my domain and violated my privacy, you owe me proper compensation.”

Out in public, Ye Yao might not be so brazen, but in private, she wasn’t acting at all.

She was going to displace “Watcher Civilization” in White Comet’s heart and make “Ye Yao” the top priority!

She would poach White Comet straight from the Watcher Civilization!

“From now on, you’re my personal commander, and mine alone!

If I ever want to take a spaceship on an interstellar trip, you’ll personally take me.

No one else can give you orders! Anyone who wants to command you has to go through me!

Even the Watcher Civilization doesn’t get a say. Understood?”

Ye Yao emphasized, and although it sounded possessive, it carried an unmistakable sense of fierce protectiveness.

Being acknowledged by her was truly a once-in-a-lifetime honor.

White Comet suddenly realized that such a wondrously inclusive heart would likely not bring disaster to the Watcher Civilization.

White Comet knelt on one knee before Ye Yao, like a knight swearing fealty to their sovereign, formal and solemn.

Aside from not quite resembling a normal family dynamic, it actually felt rather nice.

Ye Yao blinked, and the sound of twenty attribute points being credited echoed in her mind.

This meant that White Comet had fully switched sides, ready to work for Ye Yao for a hundred years!

Silver Frost watched from the side, letting out a breath of relief.

If even Commander White Comet had done the same, surely she wouldn’t be blamed for falling so quickly.

Under Ye Yao’s charm, even Commander White Comet had to surrender!

Silver Frost was genuinely happy for White Comet.

But then, did that mean she was now on the same level as White Comet?

Ye Yao nodded at White Comet with satisfaction.

“Then, I’ll leave the Watcher Civilization’s follow-up to you. Don’t let anyone bother me.

Maybe one day, I’ll bring people over for a tour. Anyway, you handle the aftermath, and I’ll enjoy the fruits!”

Ye Yao declared her slacking off announcement with utter righteousness.
