Daddy('s) Issues (To be re-edited)

I'm gonna follow a brief pattern of dropping what I have currently on stories I left behind while I go through editing them. So, here's the UaR chapter that was supposed to be next in line. Mind you, it's incomplete and over a year old, so I don't remember half the stuff that's currently here, so I'll be returning to this at a later date.

A long rest to hard-reset their brains later, everyone was relaxing in the lounge once more. Rolan then appeared to see what they were up to. That's when he noticed Asterius encircled by the kids along with the storybook lovers: Bell, Haruhime, Tiona and Ardee. Ais was also there fighting with Tiona over Bell as per usual.

Rolan: *Looking at them* And what are they doing?

Finn: Oh, Bell said he and the others looked around and found a book about me apparently. As flattering as that sounds, my thumb has been disagreeing with me as it's been throbbing a bit since they started.

Riveria: *Shaking her head* They also had to draw lots since they couldn't decide who would get to read. In the end, the minotaur won the privilege despite not being able to read that well.

Loki: Or hold the book for that matter! They're lucky one of rabbit boy's girls lent him her glasses so he could read. Supposedly they were enchanted to allow the wearer to read whatever they looked at.

Rolan: Hm.

The god walked over to the reading group and overheard the bull as he read to the group of children.

Asterius: Miss Watson, she kept pecking at me, and it got tiresome and lonesome. By-and-by, they fetched the ni-

Rolan: Enjoying yourselves here?

They all stopped and turned to him and nodded brightly.

Bell: Yeah. By the way, sorry for taking the book before asking you. We got really curious and couldn't help ourselves.

He and the other blushed sheepishly but Rolan said he didn't mind in the slightest.

Rolan: And you picked that one because...

Tiona: I thought it would be about the Captain but it's just not adding up right even if its about another world like we've been seeing.

Rolan: Well, I'm sorry to be the one to disappoint you, but Huckleberry Finn doesn't actually have to do with the Finn you all know.

They groaned in disappointment but Bell encouraged them that they could still find a way to enjoy it. So, Rolan left them to their literature and Asterius continued where he left off.

Asterius: They fetched the ni-

While that happened, Rolan observed Albert grumbling next to Aria. The two watched Ais and Tiona lightly quarrel over who gets to sit next to Bell in the reading circle.

Aria: You have to grow out of this eventually, dear. Our girl is growing up.

Albert: Doesn't mean I have to feel good about it.

Silver: Well, you could be happy she's getting a good man. I'm sure most women would wish they could be as lucky as her.

Albert: Lucky to have to share their partner?!

Silver: *Shrugs* It could be worse. They could've ended up in a battle to the death over who gets to keep him.

Albert: Hmph! Maybe for some but I'm more than happy with my single-woman relationship status. I only wish my daughter could've been the same.

Rolan: Oh, you really don't want to go down that road.

Albert: Why is that?

Aria: What's wrong? I'm quite content having Albert all to myself.

Rolan: And what if I told you there was at least once scenario where he didn't settle with just you?

Aria: *Crack*

Those in their table could swear they heard something break only to look and see Aria's glass shattered as she clenched her fist and soaked her hand in her drink. Her face still had her sincere smile, but the aura she gave off made for an unsettling atmosphere. That and her smile felt misplaced as well.

Albert: Excuse me?! I wouldn't dare do that!!

While he said that to save face, he was also growing more afraid of his wife.

Rolan: Interesting. Let's ask those two what they think.

Albert: Those two?

Rolan snapped his fingers and a portal opened where to women came out.

???: What sorcery is this? Where are we?

Rolan: *Bow* Empress Evelda. Queen Celdia. You grace us with your audience today.

He hid a dark smirk as everything was coming together.

The amazons and elves were all wide-eyed when he said that.

Lefiya: Did he say Queen Celdia?!

Hedin: Her highness?!

Ryuu: Queen of the elves...

Celdia(Embers): So that's who Mom named me after. Her hair is so green!

As the elves gawked at their old ruler and the amazons admired the strength their former empress, Albert was in shock to see his former comrades.

Albert: Evelda! Celdia!

The two turned to him and Aria and were relieved to see a familiar face. They immediately ran to him and the four embraced.

Albert: I didn't think I'd see either of you again after the big battle.

Aria: It's so good to see you both well.

Celdia: *sigh of relief* It's good to see you too, Aria. You as well, honey.

Albert: Eh?

Aria: *Crack* Hm?

Evelda: You're still in prime shape as always! That's perfect! I can't have my honeybuns going rusty on me.

Albert: *Confused* You're who now?

Aria: *Menacing aura grows*

Rolan: I may have neglected to mention a few things.

Albert: *Beginning to fear for his life and dick* You think?!

Rolan: Then let me set things straight. These two are the comrades you've known yet are not.

Aria: Do go on~

Rolan: They're from a time where all three have become your wives.

Aria: Oh my~ Do I smell infidelity?

Albert: *Scared* A-A-A-Aria...

Things worsened when the two newcomers kissed Albert, which caused a black windstorm from the spirit. Ais cowered away next to Bell. As glad as she was to see her friends/aunts, she was more afraid of her mom. Mini Ais was there as well.

Aria: *Menacing* Mr. Rolan, you wouldn't mind if I take my husband for a moment to...

Rolan: Take all the time you need.

Albert: HEEEEEELP-

*Slam*

She quickly grabbed him and dragged him out of the room.

Celdia: Riiight... Aria was the jealous type...

Evelda: *Slightly jealous too* Let's hope the gods protect him from her wrath.

Every god in that room shook their head. They'd rather not contend with Aria in her current state.

Rolan: Since they're going to be a long time, I adjusted the time dilation outside to give them all the time they need. Meanwhile, I think you two need to be brought up to date.

Rolan quickly informed the two about what was going on in this theater as well as the current attendees. With there being people from a thousand years further from their time as well as literal gods, the most shocking thing was them seeing Ais all grown up.

Celdia: My goodness! You've grown into such a fine young woman, Ais! I remember it was only yesterday you were such a sweet little girl!

Ais smiled with a light blush. It had been so long since she'd heard compliments from her. Evelda also praised her looks as well as her strengths. Ais was happy knowing she agreed that her Dad would be proud of her. What also surprised them was hearing about her boyfriend and all the feats he would achieve. Being the one to surpass Albert himself, Celdia and Evelda agreed Ais had gotten herself quite the man. Evelda was more impressed that Bell was getting more women.

Evelda: I'm a bit disappointed Albert got shown up by a kid.

Celdia: You'd be wise to keep that thought to yourself. Who knows what Albert would do if he heard.

Speaking of, the doors opened once more revealing a beaming Aria and a passed out Albert being carried on her back like a sack of potatoes.

Ais: Mom, what did you do to Dad?

Aria: *Smiling* Oh, I just made sure he remembered his place~

Albert: *Groaning*

Rolan: Just give him here.

Aria took her seat and Albert was brought back to the world of the living.

Albert: Wha-what?! Where am I?! Why're you here? *Glare* Where's Nappa?

Aria: Albert?

Albert: Woah! Sorry, I kinda lost myself after the 14th round.

Ais: What does that mean?

Celdia: Ask your mother.

Ais: *To Aria* Mom?

Aria: When you're older, sweetie.

Ais: But I'm sixteen!

Ardee: *Off to the side* Now she knows how I feel...

Aria: Anyways, I'm sorry I took so long, girls. He takes a lot of work so it took a few days.

Ais: Days?

Lefiya: They were only gone for half an hour at most, no?

Rolan: The time dilation was adjusted. I sped up the inside to 365.25 times the speed in the theater.

Tiona: How fast is that?

Rolan: Well, in Tiona terms: one day here, one year there.

Ais: Mom, why would you waste half an hour on... whatever you did?

Aria: Come on, Ais. What's half an hour?

Lefiya: 7.6 days.

Tiona: But that's half a fortnight!

Rolan: Alright I'm done with this. Albert, long story short, you're still gonna die.

Albert: HOW?! I've already had the life sucked out of me by my wife!

Celdia and Evelda: Ahem!

Albert: *Correcting himself* Legal wife! What more damage could be done?!

Rolan looked to the side and manifested two more portals where two more women appeared. Ones who bore striking resemblances to the last pair.

One was a half-elf and the other was an amazon.

Half-elf: It still doesn't add up. Why were you buying clothes at the soup store?

Amazon: Fuck off! Wha- what just happened? Cerina?

Cerina: *Looking around* I don't think we're in Orario anymore, Esmeralda.

They scanned the room for any familiar faces and quickly found a few of them.

Cerina: Hey, Ais and Bell are here!

Bell: *Memories of Vietnam* Not again...

Albert: Who are these two? As a matter of fact, you still haven't explained how I'm married to Celdia and Evelda!

Rolan: Right. One moment.

He snapped his fingers and Albert was wide-eyed at how his story with them went.

Albert: Oh... wow... I uh- sorry for all the trouble I caused you two.

Evelda: We've been married for years now. Don't sweat it!

Albert: Even so, Celdia, I'm sorry about your dad.

Celdia: Really it was my brother's fault. So help him if he didn't rule every Elven forest. It was a miracle Rishena was born before him.

Albert: Tell me about it. He had such a bad superiority complex over humans even during the wedding. Your Grandfather was just as bad too.

Celdia: And he just went on- *mocking voice* "Daddy monkey this, daddy monkey that!"

Albert: Oh, that is him! That is EXACTLY him!

After he was done with his rant, he looked to the newcomers and saw them all over Bell as one would expect of a woman.

Aria: Surely you're overreacting.

Albert: *Deadpan* Need I remind you of what happened to the house?

Flashback...

End of Flashback...

Albert: For the love of the gods, I was just trying to introduce my cousin who I haven't seen in 5 years. I thought you two would get along. I wasn't expecting to not have a house to welcome her to.

Aria just blushed in shame at the memory while Ais was curious about this ordeal between her parents.

Silver: *Deadpan* Why does this sound familiar?

He looked to his Alfia who looked away sheepishly while whistling.

Albert: Now, just who are the younger ones?

Cerina: You don't recognize us, Father?

Albert: Father?

Rolan: They're your kids with your other wives. One for each of them and they're the same age as Ais.

Ais: *Shocked* I have sisters?

Eveldia: Ha! That makes us all even now!

Aria: *Menacing* Deeeeaaaaar?

Albert: Y-Yes?

Aria grabbed him by the wrist and all but dragged him back to the room.

Albert: NOOOOOOOOO!!!

Rolan: In fairness, I did try to warn him.

Bell: Didn't you want this to happen?

Rolan: And boy do I love my job!

Albert: *Comically resisting* NO! I WANT TO LIVE!

*Door slams shut*

*Door slams open*

Albert: *Pops out* I WANT TO LIVE!!!

*Door slams shut again*
