Volume 3, Chapter 37 – The Invisible Hand
“My crystal!”
Although that’s what he said, the Blue Sea adventurer didn’t slow down his escape. He just looked on with a pained expression as the frost crystal fell into the valley.
As Yisi had expected, the monsters that had been chasing the adventurers, like moths to a flame, one after another, dove toward the bottom of the cliff.
That takes care of that.
“Miss Yisi, you’re a big help!”
“Thanks!”
The Flame Conquerors immediately offered their thanks, and at the same time, the two remaining Blue Sea adventurers finally caught up with the Flame Conquerors’ group.
“Ugh! Those monsters are coming back!”
As the Blue Sea adventurer said, their numbers were greatly reduced, but there were still nearly a hundred monsters chasing them, following closely.
“Why?! The frost crystal was already thrown off the cliff!”
“Don’t worry about it, just run!”
“I can’t anymore, I’m exhausted.”
“Didn’t you promise Naz you’d marry her when you got back? How can you give up here, you bastard!”

“Saying that just makes it harder for me to go back!”
HU—HU—
Because the Flame Conquerors’ movement speed was slow, Yisi could now even hear the wind generated by the monsters running behind her. They would probably make contact soon.
With the motionless Camilla on her left shoulder, Yisi took out Gungnir from her storage with her other hand.
At this point, she’d just have to pretend to be held back by the monsters, break away from the group, and then take out all the monsters at once!
As soon as the thought emerged, the situation changed.
One of the Flame Conquerors shouted.
“I see Lord Suta and the army! They’re coming our way!”
“Holding on until Lord Suta arrives will be our victory!”
The speed of the entire group increased. Yisi put away her previous idea and instead swung Gungnir horizontally, batting away a wolf-like monster that tried to pounce on her neck from behind. At the same time, Camilla, on her shoulder, began to chant a [Fireball] spell, shooting flames like a mobile cannon.
Finally, the tug-of-war-like escape ended with their contact with the soldiers.
“Lord Suta! The monsters are coming!”

“Leave it to us! You guys go to the back and regroup!”
“Alright!”
Passing the Flame Conquerors, Suta, leading twenty strong soldiers, formed a defensive line and blocked the monsters in front of them.
The Flame Conquerors, exhausted from the intense activity, collapsed directly into the snow, breathing heavily. Yisi took this opportunity to observe the battlefield.
On her Omniscient Map, the Fallen Angel named Ariel was currently on the top floor of the Tower of Hermion with a familiar. Combining this with the demons and the Empire’s Fallen outside Antonio City, as well as the Nightmare Winged Fish on Hermion Snowy Mountain, this chaos must be Ariel’s plan.
He probably summoned the Nightmare Winged Fish to the snowy mountain to take out all of Antonio City’s powerful combat forces in one go. The reason she found so many monsters that shouldn’t have been there on the snowy mountain yesterday must be the result of Ariel capturing them.
But instead of dealing with Ariel, it was more appropriate to first take care of the troublesome Nightmare Winged Fish. On the map, Clementine’s group’s MP was already depleted, and their HP was gradually dropping. They clearly couldn’t hold on much longer.
Yisi gently put Camilla down from her shoulder. The soft feel of Camilla’s body made Yisi reluctant to let go, but now was not the time to enjoy it. Not to mention, such behavior was a bit perverted.
“Camilla, I’m going to leave for a moment. Keep an eye on Mary and Tiffany. I’ll be right back.”
“Where are you going?”
“To help Clementine.”
Winking her blue eyes at Camilla, Yisi used the excuse of needing to go to the bathroom to leave the group. She put on a cloak and a mask and used teleportation magic to leave.
The landscape was still the same white snowy expanse, but it was now filled with chaos. A black whale-like creature floating in the air was rampaging through the snow, while the black dots on the ground, as small as ants, scattered and fled from the whale’s assault.

Even with Clementine at level 19, he was powerless against a flying enemy. He was in a state of impending exhaustion. His counterattacks were getting weaker and less frequent, and he didn’t even have the strength left to create distance, only to dodge attacks.
“I should end this fight quickly. Suta’s group won’t last long.”
A mere 20 people would never be able to block nearly a hundred monsters. Humanity’s combat power had never been this strong, or they wouldn’t have been losing ground to the Blood Clan’s attacks.
“Is there a less conspicuous spell…”
It would be too much trouble if she were seen as a “powerful vampire roaming in human territory.” After thinking for a moment, Yisi stood thousands of meters in the air and extended her hand toward the Nightmare Winged Fish, making a grasping motion.
[Invisible Hand]
A high-level spell with no attributes and completely invisible. It was also the first time Yisi had used her highest-level spell on a living creature.
[Invisible Hand] had only one effect: to create a huge, transparent, physical hand using spatial power. This hand would move according to Yisi’s will, and its strength was five times that of Yisi herself.
Because a slight loss of control could cause a change in the terrain, Yisi had only tested it once after arriving in this world and then set it aside.
“Well then…”
Staring intently at the giant whale below, Yisi slowly closed her outstretched hand. Immediately, as if restrained by an unseen force, the giant fish that had been diving towards Clementine suddenly stopped. Then, like a worm sprinkled with salt, its body twisted frantically, and it let out a high-pitched wail.
Yisi didn’t give the whale a chance to struggle.
Perhaps because of its massive size, the [Invisible Hand] transmitted the force of the whale’s twisting. Although it was only a small amount, it was enough for Yisi to raise an eyebrow. If she had to fight this whale with just her body, without using spells like [Strength Boost], she probably wouldn’t be able to lift it with one hand like she did the Earth Dragon.

“Go chill out somewhere else.”
Carefully controlling the invisible hand, Yisi slowly lifted the giant whale and made a throwing motion. After gathering a bit of strength, she violently threw the giant whale toward the north of Hermion Snowy Mountain.
WUUUUUUUUU——————
Accompanied by a rapidly fading wail, the Nightmare Winged Fish disappeared from sight like a shooting star streaking across the sky.
“That should do it.”
Yisi dispelled [Invisible Hand] and teleported back to her previous spot. She took off her disguise and ran straight towards the fighting army and the Flame Conquerors. The shouts of battle reaching the clouds already indicated how tragic the scene was.
However, when Yisi actually saw the scene on the snow, the sight before her made her tilt her head in surprise.
The shouts of battle were indeed coming from the Flame Conquerors and the soldiers of the Hermion territory. Everyone was bloodied and exhausted, unable even to stand up, yet they were yelling encouragement to the slimes that had defected to help the humans.
“Kill those monsters!”
“Yes! Swallow them and then throw them off the cliff!”
“The flank! The flank is about to be breached! Little girl, quickly send new slimes to reinforce them!”
As Yisi saw, the situation had become uncontrollable—Tiffany was surrounded by a group of ice slimes, and the slimes themselves, like soldiers, one after another, threw themselves into battle against the silver wolves and ice fairies. The two sides were tangled together, a chaotic scene reminiscent of a tangled ball of yarn.
