Volume 4, Chapter 3 – Third Form Awakening
Just as Refina had said, when Yisi got off the carriage and gave a command to the black-clothed assassins waiting nearby, they immediately called for Refina and the other three Pets.
Now, a total of eight people—the four Pets and Yisi’s group—were all standing in an open space in the countryside.
“We are ready, Miss Yisi. You may use [Third Form Awakening] at any time.”
Since the Pescia Territory was in the midst of a humid summer, all four of Refina’s group were dressed in clothing that was both easy to move in and quite revealing. However, naturally, there was no sun in the sky above the Pescia Territory.
Aside from Purebloods and High-Level Vampires, Mid-Level and Low-Level Vampires all feared sunlight. As Low-Level Vampires formed the foundation of the vampire race, even though the class gap among vampires was higher than in the human world, the Pescia Count had to consider the survival of his Low-Level Vampires and used the power of the Tower of Pescia to cover the entire territory with a thick layer of clouds.
Facing Refina’s bow, Yisi waved her hand, signaling for Refina and Camilla’s group to spread out.
“[Third Form Awakening] is a new magic I just acquired. I’m not sure what will happen after I use it. If possible, it’s best for everyone to keep some distance.”
“Chesire, you and the others spread out. I will stay by the Master’s side.”
“Mhm.”
After having the other Pets leave, Refina remained alone. At this action, Yisi could only sigh helplessly on the inside. Refina was probably too worried about the Count’s eldest daughter, which was why she was willing to stay by her side despite the danger.
Rather than a Pet, Refina was more like a confidante. Unlike the other Pets who saw the Count’s eldest daughter as a necessity, Yisi could feel that Refina genuinely worried about the Count’s eldest daughter from the bottom of her heart, harboring a complex affection for her that the other Pets did not.

Camilla also turned to instruct Mary.
“Mary, you and Tiffany retreat to the edge. I need to stay by Onee-sama’s side.”
“Okay~”
Although Yisi wanted to say that this was dangerous, Camilla’s eyes, filled with firm determination, told Yisi that even if she were to ask her to leave, she wouldn’t move an inch. Yisi could only sigh helplessly and acquiesce to Camilla’s actions.
After the Pets and Mary’s duo had retreated to the edge of the clearing where it met the forest, Yisi opened her Omniscient Map.
From the map, she could see that many black-clothed assassins were still lurking in the forest, numbering at least two hundred by a preliminary estimate, a decent combat force. Of course, this was not Yisi’s only thought.
She remembered that there should have been five Pets traveling with Refina. Were there only four left…? Did they encounter an accident or something else happened? Even if she asked Refina, Refina wouldn’t tell an outsider like her. Yisi chose to bury the question in her heart.
Hopefully the Count’s eldest daughter would be easy to talk to.
Offering a prayer she found laughable, Yisi followed the information in her mind and used [Third Form Awakening].

Faint white light particles surged out from Yisi’s body. Then, the particles grew at a visibly insane speed, eventually enveloping Yisi completely. The dazzling light made everyone instinctively squint their eyes.
After this ordinary yet fantastical sight lasted for about three seconds, Yisi reappeared in people’s sight.
A girl with brilliant red wings, pure silver hair, and silver cat ears, who looked to be about fourteen years old, was floating about a foot above the ground.
The black dress she wore before using the skill was gone. Yisi was now wearing a wonderful outfit that was quite revealing yet filled with a sense of divinity.
The combination of blue and white gave an impression of pure innocence, but the design that exposed her armpits and nearly her entire thighs fully displayed a sense of sex appeal. The two opposing elements of divinity and seduction were perfectly balanced, a sight that would surely be praised even by the gods.
Of course, Yisi couldn’t see her own appearance right now. All she could feel were the changes in her body.
All the values displayed in her status bar, except for her level which was still 427, had almost all doubled. For example, her original HP limit was 42700, and it was now 85000. The increase in MP was even more significant, directly rounding up to 10000 points.
In addition, the status bar also showed some permanent passive effects, such as [Levitation], [Curse Nullification], [Mental Interference Nullification], [Holy Attribute Immunity], [Evil Attribute Immunity], [Flight Ban Nullification], [Elemental Affinity Max], [Holy Attack Addition], [Demon Slayer], [Master of Valhalla], and so on. 1 so many…
Because a stack of more than five layers of various buffs had piled up in her status bar, Yisi lost interest in checking them one by one after just a glance.
Although each of them was a skill powerful enough to make one gasp in amazement, she was already very strong to begin with, so getting a little stronger didn’t have much meaning. Compared to these countless new skills, the doubling of her MP and strength values was more helpful to her—it would save a lot of potions.
As for control over her body, Yisi tried clenching her hands. There was no discomfort. On the contrary, her senses had become much sharper.

The rustling of wind through the bushes, the sound of animals gnawing inside tree trunks, and even the breathing of the black-clothed assassins hiding in the forest—if she focused, she could clearly perceive all of it. If she focused a little more, she could even feel the mood of the surrounding elements.
The elements were joyfully circling around her.
It seemed a remarkable situation had developed.
However, only she could feel these things. As long as she didn’t tell anyone, no one would be surprised by her existence as an anomaly.
Another thing to note was that she couldn’t feel the Count’s eldest daughter’s presence.
Because she was already used to the feeling of flying, Yisi easily controlled her body to descend to the ground. Camilla and Refina cast a burning gaze from her left and right sides, respectively. Yisi put her right hand to her lips and gave a light cough.
“I can’t feel the Count’s eldest daughter.”
Her voice was still the same as before. And judging by her eye level, her height hadn’t changed, so it was likely her facial features also retained the Count’s eldest daughter’s extremely indifferent look.
What puzzled Yisi was that she had expected Camilla to be happy when she heard that it was still her, but Camilla was tilting her head slightly, looking as if she wanted to come closer but was hesitant and didn’t dare.
“Camilla, what’s wrong?”

“Onee-sama… you’re now…”
As if she had remembered something, Camilla quickly chanted a spell, took a mirror out of a black hole-like storage space, and held it up with both hands, pointing it at Yisi.
The moment her vision and the mirror’s reflection overlapped, Yisi froze in place.
Why did I grow cat ears? And the vampire wings were more than double the size they were before, large enough to completely wrap a person inside.
Although her eyes were still blue, they had turned into the vertical pupils of a feline. Combined with her strangely revealing, wonderful outfit, if she hadn’t known the person in the mirror was herself, she would definitely have fallen for her on the spot.
The combination of cat ears and wings was just too unfair.
Of course, a sigh was a sigh, but Yisi still had things to pay attention to. For example, her wings now looked more like they belonged to a dragon rather than a vampire.
Her fangs, which should have been a vampire’s, had regressed into something much smaller, somewhere between a canine tooth and a vampire’s fang. In addition, although she couldn’t see it in the mirror, there seemed to be a tail on her back that she could control with her will.
“Hmm… There’s also one more important matter. Was it quadraphonic or just stereo now? If I were to lift my side hair and find no ears, that would be terrifying.”
“You look very happy, faker.”
