Volume 5, Chapter 31 – The Queen’s Blood Frenzy (Part 2)
“Do you think we need them?”
As she spoke, Camilla chanted the incantation for storage magic. A black hole the size of a washbasin immediately appeared in mid-air.
The man’s expression became awkward. “S-So you’re a magic chanter, my lady…”
“Now that you know, get out of the way.”
The man hurriedly cleared a path and quickly disappeared from sight.
As if she had just solved a troublesome matter, Camilla clapped her hands and frowned slightly. “We always run into these kinds of people who ask for trouble.”
Yisi couldn’t help but sigh. “Your methods are too harsh, Camilla.”
“But he was wasting your time, Onee-sama. Besides, it’s normal for nobles to be a little stricter with commoners. If it were Edith, that man would have already lost a leg.”
“You can’t use Pepe as an example for everything.” Noticing Edith’s frown, Yisi quickly changed her tune. “What I mean is, your actions could easily attract resentment, Camilla.”
In an environment shrouded in fog like this, the enemies were not just the undead, but also the living. There were surely plenty of people who would kill for money, for beauty, or simply for revenge. Killing someone in the city would easily leave evidence, but in the fog, a murder wouldn’t even leave a body.
Setting aside their group’s appearance, Camilla’s act of showing off her storage magic was undoubtedly a way of making enemies. Even if that man just now had no ill intentions, there was no guarantee that there weren’t people like bandits’ lookouts in the town. Of course, even if there were, Yisi wasn’t afraid. It was just that less trouble was better than more.

“Who was that man just now?”
“He was probably a broker. Have you not seen one before, Your Majesty?”
“A bro… ker?” Andrea tilted her head.
“It’s a role that introduces guards and porters to people, and then collects a fee from them, allowing all three parties to profit.”
“So there are people like that… You are so strong, Lady Yisi, yet you know so much about the lives of ordinary people.”
No, this is just common sense.
As they spoke, the group of seven arrived at the edge of the town. The side of the town near the fog was separated by a wooden fence as tall as a person. In addition, nearly twenty armored soldiers were on patrol. A few Blood Clan adventurers, who could move about in the dark, were coming and going. A neat row of porters was squatting by the fence, waiting to be hired. Everything seemed to be in good order.
“An aura of death.” Pointing at a party of adventurers returning from the fog, Tiffany frowned. When she saw the most heavily injured adventurer in the group, who needed a comrade to carry him to survive, Mary’s face showed pity.
“He’s bleeding so much…”
“If you choose to be an adventurer, you must be prepared to take risks.”
“But don’t you feel sorry for him, Miss Edith?”

“Sorry? My sympathy is only for those who deserve it. Clearly, he does not. To put it another way, if this person were about to die, and only by giving your life could you save him, would you be willing to sacrifice yourself, Mary?”
Edith’s words made Mary timidly avert her gaze. “If it were like that…”
“And what if the person who needed saving was Yisi?”
“If it were Master… I would be willing. If it weren’t for Master, back in Celtic City I would have—mmph.” Before Mary could finish, Yisi covered her mouth.
“Don’t say such inauspicious things.” And it’s too embarrassing.
Edith waved her hand nonchalantly. “And that’s that. Commoners are not worth wasting my emotions on.”
Very rarely, Camilla also agreed with Edith’s view. “I think so too.”
“Ah, another party of adventurers is back.”
Andrea’s comment made everyone turn their attention to the returning group. Unlike the previous party, this one was more heavily injured. Except for the person at the very front, the other six could only move forward by supporting one another.
“Hey, someone come quick! This guy’s about to die!”
“Anyone, do you have any healing ointment? We need ointment!” 1 its weird… but yeah its not healing pot
Even though the leader shouted this, the people around them just looked up and then lowered their heads again. In this town, healing ointments were the last resort adventurers used to save their lives and were not easily sold.

Andrea tugged on Yisi’s sleeve, her golden eyes full of pleading. “Lady Yisi… may I go over there?”
“Going over is not a problem, but you’re not thinking of using your magic potions on them, are you, Andrea? Ordinary adventurers can’t afford magic potions.”
“It’s alright. I know healing magic.”
Healing magic? If she remembered correctly, Andrea was a dark-element magic chanter. Healing magic only appeared in water, light, and holy magic.
However, it was within her expectations that Andrea would want to help the adventurers. This kind of behavior, helping anyone on sight, might seem irrational at first glance, but considering Andrea’s status as king, it was actually very natural. A king helping their subjects in times of trouble needed no other reason.
Seeing Yisi’s group approach, the adventurer who had been crying out for healing ointment had his eyes filled with hope. He dashed in front of Andrea.
“Milady pureblood, do you have any healing ointment!?”
“May I go over and look at their injuries first?”
Without the slightest hesitation, the man stepped aside. Andrea walked over to the several adventurers who were covered in blood. The most seriously injured among them had already lost consciousness. His right leg was an empty space, and blood was constantly flowing down his pant leg. It was clear his right leg had just been severed by something.
“Phew… thank goodness they’re all from the Blood Clan…” Letting out a quiet sigh of relief, Andrea showed no fear at all. She had the adventurers gather the injured together, then closed her eyes in a prayer-like motion, knelt down, and clasped her hands in front of her.
“In the name of the Glorious Primordial Goddess, I bestow upon you a blessing— [Blessing of Blood] .”

The moment her voice fell, a layer of purple light emanated from Andrea, covering the heads of the injured. In less than a minute, the purple light disappeared, and the faces of the injured were noticeably more vibrant. Even the man whose right leg had been severed had his wounds completely scabbed over.
However, before anyone could react, Andrea quickly grabbed one of Yisi’s fingers—the tight grip was a clear sign she was enduring something. Yisi looked down at Andrea, only to find that her pink pigtails and her shoulders were trembling slightly.
“Andrea?”
The soft call made Andrea look up, but her expression was clearly different from usual.
Her moist eyes, filled with craving, looked up from below. Her pink tongue greedily licked her lips. Combined with her slightly rapid, hot breath and the fine beads of sweat on her forehead, her seductive appearance made Yisi stunned for a moment.
“What’s wrong with you?”
“Lady Yisi… I’m sorry.”
Andrea’s grip on Yisi’s hand began to tighten. Yisi took the opportunity to glance at Andrea’s status and instantly understood what she was about to do. She relaxed the defense on her finger, allowing Andrea to bring it to her mouth.
Andrea bit down.
