Volume 5, Chapter 55 – Epilogue
Volume 5, Chapter 55 – Epilogue
It was soon time for bed.
Yisi, having returned to the mansion from the banquet, first washed up and then walked out of the bathroom in cotton slippers appropriate for the season. The comfort and sense of liberation after a bath enveloped her entire body. Although her skin was still steaming from the hot, steamy bathroom, the air of the autumn night was rather cool, and the dry feeling was so comfortable it made one want to let out a groan.
“I won’t go back to my room just yet.”
Drowsiness had not yet crept into her mind, and with the lack of entertainment in this other world, if she were to go to bed early, she would probably toss and turn for hours without being able to sleep.
Taking the opportunity when there was no one in the hallway, Yisi, wearing a bathrobe, quietly walked to a window, climbed out, and sat on the white-tiled roof.
“Although this will get my clothes dirty, the one doing the laundry is Sandra. It’s probably better not to worry about it too much. That girl has been freeloading in the mansion for a while now; it’s about time she made herself useful.” 1 time skip i guess
Sandra’s only ability was teleportation, which was basically useless to her. Although Edith’s attitude toward Sandra was to find a way to turn her into a slave, that was Edith’s business. Yisi neither opposed nor supported it. If Sandra fell for Edith’s soft tactics, she could only blame herself for being too fond of pleasure.
In the end, judging from the pets Edith had, being brainwashed and becoming her slave didn’t seem to be a very bad thing. At least one wouldn’t have to worry about food, clothing, housing, or transportation, and would only need to carry out Edith’s commands. Not to mention that Edith herself was a complete beauty. If this were her original world, if Edith were to say she needed pets, countless people would surely come knocking on her door.
Stretching languidly, the feeling of comfort that her whole body gave back made Yisi unable to help but let out a groan. The moonlight reflected on her waterfall-like silver pigtails, the soft glow making one want to reach out and touch. Coupled with the snow-white expanse of her chest revealed by the loose bathrobe, and the snow-white thighs that the hem of the robe failed to cover, no one would doubt it if you said that Yisi was currently trying to seduce a man.
Catching sight of her folded thighs, Yisi stiffened for a moment and quickly retracted her previous indecent posture. Although there was no one else on the roof, it was better to be a little more restrained, just in case. She was currently only wearing a bathrobe, without even panties underneath—mainly because all the underwear in this world were boxer shorts, and the women’s ones were of the type with complicated frills and lace. For someone who had just taken a hot bath, they were too hot to wear.
“It would be nice if I had an air mattress.”
Then she would just have to spread it on the roof, and she could take a nap with the starry sky as her blanket.
“I’ll make one myself later.”
She would have to find rubber first, otherwise, she could only make do with a cushion stuffed with a lot of down.
Muttering to herself, Yisi snapped her fingers, creating a not-so-strong air current between herself and the roof. It lifted her up, floating in the air. Then, like someone who had just come home from work, Yisi threw herself onto the air flow, lying facedown on the roof, rolling over and over.
“Now this is what I call enjoyment.”
The night sky was exceptionally bright tonight. The cloudless dome offered a clear view of the twinkling stars. Coupled with the fragrance of grass in the air, and the brightly lit Royal Castle standing in the distance, the peaceful feeling made the corners of her mouth curve up.
“A new moon… does it herald a new beginning for the Blood Clan? Perhaps I’m overthinking it, but it’s indeed time for history to turn a new page.”
Andrea should still be in the Royal Castle, making small talk with the nobles. Tonight was destined to be a sleepless night.
It was also time for her to leave the Blood Clan. She had stayed by Andrea’s side before because Andrea needed her help, and she also owed Andrea for the necklace. Now that Andrea had grown up, and she had also repaid her debt for stealing the necklace, to continue staying in the Royal Castle would only make Andrea become dependent on her, which was not a good thing for the new Blood Clan.
And more importantly, when she saw Andrea smiling and conversing with the nobles with ease, she had a sense of loss, like “this child has grown up.” This place was no longer suitable for her. She was, after all, just a passing traveler.
After a long silence, Yisi shook her head and let out a long breath, as if to release all the emotions in her chest.
“I’ll leave in a few days. It’s about time I started packing.”
Just as Yisi was about to stand up, a voice filled with a hint of joy appeared by her ear. Although the voice had lost its childishness, it was still delicate.
“Lady Yisi!”
“Hmm?”
Yisi turned her head. The one who had come was Andrea. Half of her body was sticking out of a chimney, and she was trying to pull herself out of it.
With an expression that was both surprised and at a loss for words, Yisi quickly dispelled the magic that was making her float, walked to the side of the chimney, and pulled Andrea out.
“Andrea… you, why did you come out of the chimney?”
“Because I saw you were on the roof alone, Lady Yisi. I thought that if I called someone to bring a ladder, it would surely disturb your quiet time, so I just climbed up myself.”
“Quiet time?”
She had indeed been enjoying the time just now, looking up at the starry sky by herself. But in the eyes of an ordinary person, they would just think she was idling.
Completely disregarding the fact that she was wearing her formal banquet dress, Andrea wiped her soot-stained face with her sleeve.
“Ehehe… I knew from the dream.”
“The dream.”
The Yisi who appeared in the dream was just something Andrea had imagined, not played by herself. But because her habits and way of life were the same as the real her, it wouldn’t feel out of place even if it were put in reality.

Sighing, Yisi sat back down where she had been before and patted the spot next to her.
“Honestly. Compared to me, you have more important things to do, Andrea.”
Smiling gently, Andrea sat down beside Yisi.
“Even though you say that, you still saved a spot for me, Lady Yisi.”
“You… you haven’t grown in other ways, but you’ve certainly learned a lot about sophistry.”
“You were my teacher, Lady Yisi.”
After speaking, Andrea closed her eyes with a grin, a coy look on her face. According to the development in the dream, she should now pinch Andrea’s cheek as a punishment. But this was not her dream. If she did that, she might really not be able to resist staying in the Royal Castle and living with Andrea.
From any angle, Andrea was very charming. She was gentle and kind, full of vitality and yet extremely intelligent. Whether it was her determined look or her considerate nature, or even when she was shy, it made one want to put all their thoughts on her. And just as she had guessed at the orphanage, Andrea had become a very virtuous wife after getting married in the dream. It wouldn’t be wrong to even call her the ideal woman.
“What’s wrong? Is there a spot on my face that I didn’t wipe clean?”
Andrea tilted her head. Her beautiful face, illuminated by the moonlight, made one want to pull her into an embrace.
Yisi awkwardly retracted her gaze.
“N-No… nothing.”
“You must be thinking about the dream, Lady Yisi.”
“Yes, a little.”
“Mmm…”
She had thought Yisi would be shy, but instead, she had given a serious answer. Andrea was at a loss for words. Her cheeks turned slightly red, and she clasped her hands together nervously, stammering,
“Th-Then does that mean you actually saw my dream, Lady Yisi?”
“You didn’t know, Andrea? Then why did you just say that I was thinking about the dream?”
“A guess.”
“…I see.”
She had been tricked.
“Hah, I did see your dream, Andrea. But it was from the perspective of a bystander. I’m not the same person as the Yisi who took you away in the dream. That was a character you imagined.”
“Mm.”
Without any expression, Andrea just looked straight ahead and nodded obediently.
Yisi couldn’t help but feel a sense of doubt.
“Is that all?”
If she still couldn’t see Andrea’s feelings for her at this point, she would be too dense. Or rather, it was precisely because she could see her feelings that she hadn’t deliberately treated Andrea according to the actions in the dream. If she were to stir up too many of Andrea’s memories, both Andrea and she herself would not be able to resist holding the other back.
Andrea had to continue on as king in the future. She herself was just an ordinary person who couldn’t be more ordinary. She didn’t understand noble etiquette, and her mind didn’t work as fast as Edith’s. She didn’t fit in with a solemn and magnificent place like the Royal Castle.
More importantly, Andrea had only just gained the trust of the nobles. If a commoner like her were to stay by Andrea’s side and act ambiguously with her, it would only bring trouble to Andrea. Not to mention the problem of how two women could produce offspring. The dream had a convenient medicine imagined by Andrea, but reality did not. For the sole member of the royal family to be unable to produce an heir would be detrimental to her rule at any time.
Yisi’s words made Andrea stretch out her arms, looking relaxed, and she nodded with a smile.
“Yes, that’s all.”
“…I thought you would at least say something like, ‘The me in the dream and the real me act the same way, so you can think of the me in the dream as the real me’.”
“That may be so, but it was a dream, after all. I prefer the real you, Lady Yisi—no… Lady Yisi,” halfway through her sentence, Andrea suddenly looked at Yisi, her golden eyes full of seriousness, “may I call you Yisi directly on special occasions?”
“That’s fine. I never asked you to use honorifics from the beginning. It would be a great help if you could always call me Yisi.”
“Then…” As if she were very embarrassed, Andrea looked flustered, her knees rubbing against each other. “…Yisi.”
“Mm.”
Yisi nodded, answering seriously.

Furthermore, Andrea began to stammer.
“Um… it’s just that…”
“If you have something to say, just say it.”
“Even if you say that, Lady Yisi…”
It became an honorific again.
What on earth is she hesitating about?
“I… like… like you… Yisi…”
“Ahh.”
It was a result she had long known. Even before Andrea had spoken, she had guessed that she would say this.
Seeing Yisi’s expression as if she hadn’t heard, Andrea quickly added,
“So… after I’ve stabilized my rule… can I live a life like in the dream with you, Lady Yisi? In that wooden house… to live on without a care.”
“I’m happy about your feelings, Andrea.” Being confessed to by a beautiful girl like Andrea, even Yisi felt as if she didn’t know where to put her hands or where to look. She could only scratch her head in frustration. “But you’ve decided to become the king, haven’t you? And just as we saw in the dream, even if you escape the position of king, you will still be concerned about your subjects. You can’t possibly live without a care.”
“After I’ve quelled the noble rebellion, I will have a clear conscience. It’s only reasonable to reward myself occasionally. At that time, I can just entrust the government to a trustworthy person, and I’ll just go back occasionally to sort out the country’s future affairs.”
“…You haven’t grown at all.”
She was still thinking of becoming an ordinary person.
Andrea’s eyes filled with dissatisfaction.
“This is your fault, Lady Yisi.”
“Your mouth is giving you away. You’re about to laugh.”
Yisi reached out with her right hand and flicked Andrea’s nose. The pouting mouth immediately relaxed. Before Yisi could pull her hand back, Andrea scooted her butt closer, held her right hand with both of hers, kissed it gently, then looked up, her gaze fixed on Yisi’s face.
“I won’t ask you to stay by my side now, Lady Yisi. But after I’ve stabilized my rule, I hope you can answer my request and walk with me to the end of my life…” Andrea suddenly shook her head. “It’s fine if it’s not just me. Even if you don’t choose me, I will always love you, Lady Yisi. So at least until you find a partner to truly accompany you for the rest of your life, can you leave a small place for me in your heart…?”
Although her voice was filled with shyness, Andrea did not look away as she spoke. On the contrary, she held back her shame and expressed her feelings word by word.
If she didn’t give a clear answer after being told this, Andrea would surely be heartbroken.
There was no other way out.
“…What silly things you’re saying.”
Yisi randomly stroked Andrea’s long pink hair with her free hand. Because she had climbed out of the chimney, her hair was full of black soot.
“Andrea is gentle and cute, and also the king of the entire Blood Clan. To be able to marry a girl like you, I’m definitely the luckiest person in the world.”
Andrea’s expression gradually brightened, her golden eyes widening slightly. Yisi could even feel her heart beating violently.
“Does that mean you’ve accepted my proposal, Lady Yisi!?”
Yisi looked away in embarrassment and scratched her cheek.
“Probably… yes… you want the time we spend together to be after you’ve stabilized your rule, and since we’ll be living far from the Royal Castle, I won’t have to worry about you being troubled by the nobles because of me. And more importantly… although it’s very shameless of me to say… but you said it’s fine if it’s not just one person… Does that mean you can accept Camilla or Edith…?”
Her voice lacked confidence. After the words left her mouth, Yisi had reached the point where she wanted to find a crack in the ground to crawl into. To say to a girl who had just confessed to her that there might be new members in the future, even if Andrea were to slap her off the roof now, Yisi would not have the slightest complaint. In fact, it might even reduce her guilt.
After a long silence, Andrea did not respond. Yisi became even more flustered and timidly shifted her gaze back to her.
Yisi’s whole body stiffened.
Andrea’s lips were pressed tightly together, her long eyelashes trembling slightly. In her wide-open eyes, tear after tear slid down her cheeks onto the roof. As if she were choking back sobs, she kept swallowing.
She had made Andrea cry.
Guilt made Yisi quickly try to explain.

“I-If I said something too harsh, you can just slap me here without any hesitation. I’m ready!”
“N-No… I’m just too happy…”
One hand let go of Yisi to wipe away the tears that wouldn’t stop, while the other held onto her hand tightly, as if afraid she would run away.
“Originally… I thought you would definitely refuse me, Lady Yisi… but you agreed. I was so happy all of a sudden… so… so I just… wuuu…”
At the end of her sentence, Andrea was already sobbing uncontrollably.
Should I hug her at a time like this? It should be fine even if I hug her, right?
After hesitating for a while, Yisi reached out with both hands and pulled Andrea’s petite body into her embrace.
“…I actually think you should be calling me a scumbag or something else.”
Crying incessantly in Yisi’s arms, Andrea shook her head forcefully.
“Who would dare to curse you, Lady Yisi… I’ll use the Blood Clan’s law… and throw them in jail.”
“Ehh.”
Andrea really had become the Queen of the Blood Clan in the true sense.
Coming back to her senses, she had really found an incredible person to be her partner.
After crying in Yisi’s arms for a long time, Andrea finally stopped, sniffling. She pressed her cheek tightly against Yisi’s chest, looked up with her tear-stained face, and looked at Yisi with watery eyes from below.
“Um… Lady Yisi, I have a question.”
“Mm. At this point, there’s nothing I can hide from you, Andrea.”
Yisi had a premonition that even if Andrea were to ask her where she came from, she would not hesitate to answer that she was from Earth.
Not paying any mind to observing Yisi’s expression, Andrea wriggled a few times in her arms, her face getting closer to Yisi’s, and asked expectantly,
“Am I the first girl you’ve accepted?”
“Probably?”
Strictly speaking, Andrea was her first real fiancée. Although she had told Camilla that if she still felt the same way when she grew up, she would accept her confession, she had never given a direct answer like she had just now to Andrea. She had a feeling that things would be bad if Camilla found out.
Yisi’s answer made Andrea let out a strange giggle.
“Hehe… hehehe…”
“What’s wrong?”
“I didn’t expect to be the first… That makes me the main wife.”
Then, as if she had remembered something, Andrea suddenly wrapped her arms around the back of Yisi’s neck, clinging to her as if she were hanging from her, so that Yisi’s gaze could only fall on her.
The intense stare was embarrassing.
“Is there something you want to say, Andrea?”
In a complete reversal of her previous cute appearance, Andrea said very seriously—with the air of a fiancée,
“Mm. Well then, since I am the first wife you have accepted, it is my duty to manage you for the others. Apart from everyone you already know, you are not allowed to find any other girls in the future—and no boys either!”
“And if I do?”
Yisi deliberately teased Andrea.
Andrea pouted.
“Then I’ll cry for you to see.”
“Is that so? Then I’ll do my best not to make you cry.”
A satisfied smile bloomed on her face. Andrea closed her eyes and offered her lips to Yisi. Yisi hesitated for a moment, then lowered her head slightly.
Even their breathing was clearly audible. Her nostrils were filled with Andrea’s fragrance.

However, just as their lips were about to touch, a sound like an explosion suddenly occurred beside Yisi.
A crimson Gungnir was embedded in the roof next to them.
“You two—”
Crap.
Edith found us.
Yisi prepared to turn around, but Andrea did not allow it. Instead, she held Yisi’s neck tightly, made her lower her head, and, after giving the murderous Edith behind her a playful—or rather, victorious—wink, she breathed gently into Yisi’s ear.
“Now, you are mine.”
And then, under the witness of the rising new moon, she closed her eyes and kissed Yisi’s lips.

Afterword
Ooooh!!!!!
After thinking it over and over, I finally managed to arrange a satisfying ending for An-chan. I was always so distressed about not being able to have her come along, so it’s wonderful that there’s a perfect ending now.
(T/N: “An-chan” is an affectionate nickname the author uses for Andrea.)
Ahem, those are my thoughts having just finished the ending of this volume. For now, let’s get to the main topic.
As you all have seen, Volume 5 is now complete! [Throws confetti, throws confetti]. I am exceptionally satisfied with this volume, be it the beginning, the middle, or the ending (especially the ending). An-chan also turned out to be unexpectedly cute. This was truly unexpected. When I was first writing the main and detailed outlines, I thought An-chan would just be an ordinary character, and there was no place for her in the protagonist’s party. That is to say, it was decided that she would not be coming along. But when I actually started writing, I discovered that An-chan is so cute I could die!
But what can’t be taken away, can’t be taken away. An-chan is a person who was born to be a king; she can’t just be taken away because of Yisi’s willfulness. Although another king I’ve written (I’m talking about a certain blond demon lord) also roamed the continent after becoming a king, An-chan is not like Aella; she doesn’t have many capable subordinates and loyal citizens, so they can’t be compared.
Speaking of which, An-chan’s story does not end here. She will still appear in the next volume. In the setting, the next Pope, Evelyn, and An-chan are like twin sisters (not related by blood). Their personalities are opposite, yet… no spoilers.
In short, I am very satisfied and happy with how this volume was written. My only regret is that there was too little description of Augustin. Originally, in the detailed outline, the plan was to write in detail the memories of Augustin meeting/being saved by Andrea, being given great trust by her, and witnessing the root of her pain. At the time of the final battle, there should have been very detailed dialogue as well.
Unfortunately, when I was actually writing, I found that I couldn’t do it. Otherwise, it would have definitely taken at least 20,000 characters to describe, and that would have inevitably fragmented the plot. So I swung my sword and cut out this part of the story. Thinking about it carefully, back when I was writing Aella, I could write more than 200,000 characters in a single volume, but now a volume is only a little over 100,000. Perhaps it’s time for a little more sweet daily life and a little less accelerated conflict.
Then, regarding the ending of this volume, while writing at night, I was in agony and complained to my friends in my chat group, “An-chan is so cute, ahhh! Why can’t I keep An-chan by my side?” I even thought about turning this into a visual novel; it would be so great to be able to choose individual character routes and end on an “if” route. After thinking about it, I finally calmed down. In short, I am super satisfied with the current ending. I want to marry An-chan!
Next is the next volume. The next volume will mainly talk about the Ymir Church. Yisi has been planning to liberate the Fallen for a long time, and now it’s finally time to put it into action. I can’t spoil the details, so I ask all you dear readers to please wait and see.
Finally, thank you all, dear readers, for your collections, likes, subscriptions, monthly tickets, fire coupons, comments, and roasts! Without this support, it would be very difficult for any author to continue writing in single-player mode. Your subscriptions and praise for this book are the greatest encouragement for yomi. I want to offer my most sincere thanks here. Thank you, everyone (:з)∠).
Thank you, everyone, for following the story this far.
That’s all~
