August 26th. Heavy rain.

Despite the heavy rain today, it was truly an exhilarating day.

We successfully took advantage of the small bioship’s return trip to recharge and infiltrated the Class-Cyan bioship.

Then things took a disastrous turn. Aboard the Class-Cyan bioship was indeed one of those high-level warriors the Zombie Planet’s Planetary Will had spoken of. Although our plan had been to bypass him, something went awry. During our infiltration, the Strength Zombie King inadvertently made a noise and gave himself away. We had no choice but to engage the high-level warrior in combat.

The high-level warrior proved rather tricky to deal with. Apart from the Strength Zombie King, no one among us could match him in raw power.

His speed was equally absurd. No one could react in time. If only that Zombie King with the speed ability hadn’t been crushed by the Strength Zombie King’s boulder. What a pity. Had it still been alive, we wouldn’t have struggled so much against this high-level warrior.

Fortunately, we had more than just the Strength Zombie King on our side. We also had the Intellect Zombie King who could command souls, the Blazing Zombie King who could convert matter into energy, and humanity’s armed forces.

The Zombie Kings battled inside the bioship while humanity bombarded it with various weapons. Caught in a pincer attack from within and without, the high-level warrior and the rest of the Zhutian Civilization crew found themselves overwhelmed. Before long, they revealed an opening.

The Blazing Zombie King seized the opportunity and converted the high-level warrior from living matter into a mass of energy, effectively causing him to self-detonate.

The other Zhutian Civilization crew members were no pushovers either. Their weapons were far more advanced than our own. Good thing the Zombie King’s regenerative abilities were extraordinarily strong. As long as they weren’t reduced to mincemeat, they could keep fighting.

Although we paid a steep price, at least there were only injuries and no deaths. We finally captured the bioship and turned its captain into a zombie as well.

The threat from the Zhutian Civilization is temporarily neutralized. We’ll be taking a day to celebrate.
