March 7th. Clear skies.
A week ago, the Strength Zombie King arrived in this city. I brought the little girl with me and rendezvoused with him.
The three of us took shelter in a residential building. With the zombie crisis in full swing, the place had long been deserted by humans. From outside the door, I controlled the zombies inside to open it for us. We moved in, and they left.
This city seems more chaotic than the one ruled by the Strength Zombie King. Ordinary zombies roam the streets, while intelligent ones rampage everywhere—vandalizing, looting, and burning whatever they pleased—wantonly unleashing their destructive impulses.
I took control of several rational zombies. According to them, this is all under the Zombie King’s orders. Their Zombie King is fond of entertainment and often plays games with them. This time, the game is simple—whoever wreaks the most destruction on the city will be the winner.
The victor can also become the Zombie King’s key aide.
This Zombie King still doesn’t have bodyguards and has always been alone. Despite having a few trusted confidants, the Zombie King communicates with them separately. None of them know the Zombie King’s whereabouts.
The zombies I controlled had never seen the Zombie King before. Left with no other choice, I had to track down the Zombie King’s trusted confidants instead.
My original plan was to venture out with the Strength Zombie King to gather intelligence and leave the little girl alone at home. After all, danger lurks at every corner in this zombie city. The slightest misstep could cost one’s life.
But the little girl refused to stay put. She trailed us in secret, and by the time I noticed her, she had already followed us for quite some distance.
With no other option, we could only bring her along as we searched for the Zombie King’s confidants.
After a series of twists and turns, I finally located one of the Zombie King’s confidants. When I asked about the Zombie King’s appearance and abilities, the confidant raised a finger and pointed behind me.
And standing behind me was the little girl.
