Author's Leave Request

July 16th. Weather unknown.

The battle is still ongoing. Although the Blue Planet’s forces remain at a disadvantage, the situation has yet to become completely one-sided.

Just one interstellar warship could suppress the Blue Planet completely. It’s hard to imagine what the Zhutian Civilization's full strength would look like. Even if we manage to withstand this attack, how will we deal with it the next time the Zhutian Civilization sends two or three warships?

But now is not the time to think so much. First, we have to get through this.

Although it came at some cost, we finally captured a small bioship intact, along with its pilot.

The pilot didn’t look much different from an ordinary human, not just in facial features, but even in skin tone. The only distinction was his physique—far more powerful, stronger, and faster than any athlete. He spoke a language no one except the Zombie Planet’s Planetary Will could understand. Translated, his words turned out to be nothing more than boring phrases like “inferior lifeforms,” “release me,” and “you’re all doomed.”

I had initially intended to interrogate him under torture, hoping to extract useful intelligence. But the Intellect Zombie King pointed out that his ability to control souls let him search the pilot’s consciousness directly. The Intellect Zombie King’s soul-manipulating ability is truly miraculous. There are still so many things in this world I don’t understand.

After he searched the pilot’s consciousness, the pilot became dazed and dull-witted, likely as a side effect. The pilot was merely a combatant of the lowest rank and knew little, but he possessed plenty of interesting knowledge, such as the origins of the Zhutian Civilization.

The Zhutian Civilization originated hundreds of thousands of years ago. Back then, there were numerous civilizations, and the Zhutian Civilization was simply one of the strongest among them. (It’s uncertain whether that claim was exaggerated.)

In those days, not only was there a multitude of civilizations, but there was also an inexhaustible supply of “spirit qi.”

One day, without warning, many civilizations vanished. Even their planets disappeared. The “spirit qi” in the cosmos vanished as well, leaving only the Zhutian Civilization behind.

A new round of defensive battles has begun. I’ll end the entry here for now.

Taking some time off.
