Chapter 1111
Chapter 1111
Chapter 1091 Unforged Competition, Virtual Forging Competition, and Fake Forging Competition!
Locke was abruptly ejected from the memory world created by the Bitterwood. He flashed outside the laboratory door, and the echo of the Probus wizard immediately looked at him dangerously, but showed no intention of attacking. “
It wasn’t the Bitterwood that drove me out, it was the magical pressure wind formed by the merging of the three great magics and the phantom of the Water God Palace that drove me out.”
Locke
assessed the situation.
The Deer Witch and the Lion Wizard flew into the air. They didn’t quite recognize Locke Augustine, who had become a giant ginseng spirit, so they exchanged a surprised glance. The Grandet wizard, riding a water whale elemental lord, quickly recognized Locke by the nature of the magical pressure.
He greeted him. “Locke, hello, what’s wrong?”
Locke shook his head. “Nothing. I want to confirm some things again.”
He rushed back into the laboratory door, and the next moment, a magical lightning bolt erupted from the laboratory door.
Inside the laboratory, Wizard Probus sighed as he watched Locke burst in again.
“Why are you here again? Didn’t I tell you? My true form doesn’t want to be forcibly awakened by you; it will find a way to resist your summoning. Now, you and the Abyss Queen are summoning it simultaneously, which is tantamount to you using a ritual to steal him from the Abyss Queen. And there’s someone else who doesn’t want me awakened by you. See that Water God Palace? The other party’s background is far beyond your imagination. Right now, she’s in the Starfield Sea, holding a high position, sitting comfortably—”
Wizard Probus realized something and quickly stopped speaking, realizing he had let something slip.
Locke’s ritual magic had always existed in this region.
Locke said to Wizard Probus, “Drive the Bitterwood. I need to travel to that region multiple times to definitively determine the competition venue as the Creation Problem: Creation Lotus, and to modify that region.”
Wizard Probus’s expression shifted slightly.
“Modify? Oh, right. After all, it’s a competition; it needs some modifications to proceed.”
“But how will you modify it?”
Locke smirked.
“I recently went to the Neptune world and obtained the Ancestral God’s treasure there, along with many other good things.”
He exhaled a breath, and instantly that breath of pure air transformed into countless forms, rising and combining to create numerous objects.
This was the power of the Heavenly Origin Lord, a characteristic of the Sea King World.
“If it’s the Creation Lotus Dilemma, then it’s a straightforward matter. There’s no room for deception.
The White Frost Witch of yesteryear certainly didn’t actually solve this problem; only you were trapped here. They know your personality; they wanted to use this problem, along with the temptations, coercion, and belittling words around you, to force you to solve it and trap you to your death. I’ve basically deduced the truth. The rest is simply knowing the details, obtaining evidence, and finding out who that person is.”
“This is the duty entrusted to me by Golden Crown Mountain. I think the founding wizard of Golden Crown Mountain, the Golden Dragon Wizard, was willing to oppose the entire world for a few half-blood wizards. I think they will support me.”
Wizard Probus met his gaze.
Wizard Probus saw the determination in Locke’s eyes and nodded.
“Alright, I will activate the Bitterwood for you.”
In the Starfield Sea, within a magic academy filled with magical arrays used to collect magical energy—energy so dense it resembled seawater—a high-ring witch sat in her office. Behind her hung a magical painting depicting a torrent of water cascading from the sky, with a group of wizards digging waterways on the ground to alleviate a flood.
In the past, the Wizarding Lords were in charge of Yin and Yang, the Five Elements, and the four seasons of the wizarding world. After the White Wizarding Association rebelled and swore an oath that no wizard could ever again have a master, a Wizarding Lord threatened to dispel his own magic and cease suppressing the seven tributaries of the Heavenly River, thus intimidating the White Wizarding Association into surrendering. He declared that otherwise, the Heavenly River would burst its banks, the Heavenly River would overflow, and the world would be destroyed.
It was her ancestors who led the wizards, after the Wizarding Lords ceased maintaining the Heavenly River, to painstakingly heal the floods, gradually taming the breached river again. They placed sealing magic throughout the river, used earth magic to alter the terrain, alchemy to stabilize the riverbed, and cultivated water-generating magical plants.
This was the achievement of her ancestors, and their contributions were so great that all their descendants held high positions within the White Wizarding Association, their ancestral blessings continuing for millennia, revered by all.
This high-ring witch held a magic pen in her hand. With a casual stroke of this third-ring magical artifact on a magic paper, beams of magical light fell upon it.
She frowned. The Creation Lotus—the Primordial Problem—that she used to hold down magic paper and as a workbench on her desk was now flickering with magical light. Clearly, someone was trying to invoke this Primordial Problem—the Creation Lotus—extracted by a fourth-ring wizard from the White Wizarding Association.
“Who dares to be so audacious as to borrow this creation problem from me without my permission? Humph. It’s been almost sixty years since I’ve seen such a suicidal young upstart.”
Someone knocked on the office door. A Star Ring Wizard glanced fearfully at her mentor. This mentor hadn’t given her any information, nor had she provided any guidance after joining her group. After all, this mentor’s ancestors were powerful, following the path of a Holy Mage. Back then, she didn’t understand and chose this mentor, joining her team, only to be trapped in it.
But it couldn’t be called a trap.
Because apart from the lack of guidance, she had all the available resources. The Star Domain Sea was rich in magical resources, and being in this wizard’s team meant she had access to more than she could handle. Therefore, she was extremely respectful and loyal to this mentor, with no intention of offending her whatsoever.
The Star Ring Witch whispered, “Master, the Truth Wizard of the Rootcrown Court in the Razer Lowlands, the one who’s the headmaster, wrote to our association, requesting access to the Creation Lotus.”
The High Ring Witch remained seated, unmoved, continuing to draw with her magic pen—a recent hobby of hers.
Such a hobby was befitting her status.
“How much are they offering?”
the Star Ring Witch’s subordinate whispered. “Three hundred million magic stones.”
The High Ring Witch glanced at her. “I’m not talking about the association’s loan fee, I’m asking how much they’re giving me?”
the Star Ring Witch’s subordinate whispered. “The three hundred million includes a fee for you. One hundred million for you.”
The High Ring Witch immediately looked up, a cold laugh spreading across her face.
“Then send the Root Crown Court’s application back to me. These people are really making a scene. A bunch of peasants. Give me a hundred million? Is this how you treat beggars?! Wait a minute, tell the Root Crown Court that they have to give me the same amount they pay the association. I don’t want much, just a storage fee.” “
The creation puzzles all cost billions, some better ones cost tens of billions. My Creation Lotus puzzle is already cheap enough. And these people still want to bully me.” “
Tell them that if they don’t give me a storage fee of three hundred million, then nobody will use the Creation Lotus puzzle.”
The next moment, the Creation Lotus, which she used as a paperweight on her desk, automatically floated in mid-air, releasing magical light. With a complex witchcraft array, the Creation Lotus, which originally looked like it was made of stone, automatically activated, and every inch of the lotus seemed to come alive.
The Creation Lotus slowly rotated in mid-air.
The High Ring Witch and her subordinate, the Star Ring Witch, immediately looked at the Creation Lotus.
The High Ring Witch’s subordinate glanced furtively at her mentor.
“Mentor, the Genesis Lotus has been activated—once activated, it seems impossible to deactivate; it can only be deactivated manually by the user. But how are we supposed to explain this to the Dean of the Root Crown Court? Who activated the Genesis Lotus?”
The High Ring Witch’s expression shifted several times, her eyes practically spitting fire. She racked her brains, trying to recall who could activate the Genesis Lotus without her intervention.
Then she remembered the wizard from sixty years ago, whom she had crushed like an ant—his name was Probus.
The High Ring Witch immediately contacted several people; she suddenly discovered that someone was re-investigating the cause of Probus’s death.
“Lock Augustine, the Red Dragon Witch—the Red Dragon Witch is Thomas Lyssen’s undisclosed student, isn’t she?”
“This is troublesome. Thomas Lyssen and I have no connection, while the Red Dragon Witch is a thousand-year-old witch, and potentially a fourth-ring wizard, or even a Wizard of Truth. Thomas Lyssen must value her highly. I’ve never had any connection with the Red Dragon Witch either. In that case, it’ll be difficult to order them to stop that Lock Augustine brat.”
“Was it the Death Selection Society that intervened earlier? That makes sense; if they continue investigating, they’ll be in trouble too.”
The high-ring witch quickly considered a solution.
“The Death Selection Council won’t be determined to hide what happened back then. They’ll back down once they deem the cost of concealment too high. Moreover, they’re hesitant and afraid to act openly. Inform those of us loyal to us in the Rain Swamp to make this a huge scandal. I want the Red Dragon Witch and Locke Augustine to be disgraced and condemned by everyone. I want them to be utterly disheartened.”
In the Rain Swamp, the captain of the Demon Hunter squadron within the White Wizarding Association, a Star Ring Witch, showed a look of surprise upon receiving this long-awaited order from the Star Sea. Due to her lack of talent, since being transferred from the Seven Mountains’ [Academic Support Division] to the Rain Swamp to become the captain of the Demon Hunter squadron, she hadn’t made any progress for decades.
After all, within the White Wizarding Association, although the same position can be held by wizards of different levels, generally speaking, to reach a higher position, you still need a higher level of magic, especially in a region like the Three Swamps, where there’s a limit to the positions a Star Ring wizard can attain.
However, for her, as a witch at the pinnacle of Star Ring Magic, the captain’s position was indeed not her limit.
She could switch to a more administrative role within the association.
It’s just that the capable members of her family had died years ago, leading to her family’s decline and the abrupt end of their support.
But now, if she could establish a connection with this Star Domain Sea Witch, wouldn’t she be able to continue her promotion?
Thinking of this, the Star Ring Witch felt incredibly excited.
“The Dean of the Holy Wizard Court, the Director of the Environmental and Business Departments, or the Senior Inspector of the Demon Hunter Squad—these are positions a Ring Wizard like me could qualify for. After all, I wouldn’t be responsible for the final outcome. For example, the Captain of the Demon Hunter Squad needs to lead the suppression of dark wizards’ activities and enter relevant colonies or near-Earth orbit to repel void behemoths. For a Ring Wizard like me, not only is it difficult to obtain such a position, but even if I did, it would be tantamount to courting death.”
Seeing the superior’s request, the Ring Witch immediately addressed the witch in the video, “My lord, please assure that leader that I will handle these matters. But can you tell me who that leader is?”
The Ring Witch reprimanded her, “I didn’t tell you sixty years ago, how could I possibly tell you now? Just do as the leader instructs. Countless people in the world want to work for our leader but can’t find a way. Just do it with peace of mind. As long as some illegal acts aren’t too outrageous, we can help you settle them. After it’s done—”
The Ring Witch from the Rain Marsh couldn’t help but take a deep breath and look at her.
Then, as expected, she heard the promise she had been longing for.
“After this, you will be promoted one rank.”
“Remember, no matter who asks, you must say that you did it. After all, you already have a grudge against Wizard Probus. Back when you were the head of the Education Department in the Seven Mountains Wizarding Land, as one of the three most important judges for the title of Guide of the New Century, you voted for the White Frost Witch.”
“So all of this makes sense. It should be said that those things back then, whether it was the Creation Lotus, the Creation Problem, or anything else, were all done through you. You are Probus Wizard’s direct enemy.
“
This Star Ring Witch knew that only by taking the blame for her superior could she enter their circle; she had to be valuable to become a popular figure within the circle.
She quickly said, “Okay, please rest assured, sir. I’ll take the blame. I will also try to stop this competition, ensuring your peace of mind.”
Above the Despair Valley Laboratory, Locke entered the Bitterwood World for the fifth time. Even though Tian Yuanzhu’s body had reached its limit, and his magical pressure was almost exhausted, the pure energy on Tian Yuanzhu’s body no longer shone brightly, becoming dark, dim, and obscure. Locke
entered the Despair Valley Laboratory for the sixth time; he was about to exhaust all his magical pressure. However, he still rushed into the laboratory. This
time, he almost reached the Creation Lotus. He exhaled a breath of turbid air.
Seeing countless streams of pure energy enter the Creation Lotus, Locke used the Heavenly Origin Lord’s animal-like ability: Qi Transformation into Myriad Forms. Strands of his own pure energy also rushed into the Creation Lotus, attempting to establish a connection.
On his sixth attempt, after striking the Bitter Wood, a wisp of his pure energy drifted towards the Creation Lotus in his memory. At that instant, he immediately used Spiritual Breath Synergy, allowing his spiritual energy to intertwine with the life force of the Creation Lotus.
In that instant, the Creation Lotus, deep within the Bitter Wood’s memory world, trembled continuously, actually establishing a life force connection with Locke.
“It’s done.”
Locke watched as the Creation Lotus drew closer to him. Countless cosmic forces and starlight seemed to pierce through the cosmos, his body feeling as if he were traversing the cosmic void and the chaotic ocean.
Locke used the Heavenly Lord’s animal specialty: Qi Transformation into Myriad Forms, finally making contact with the Creation Lotus. He then used the breeding magic: Spiritual Breath Companionship, communicating with the Creation Lotus using his own life force.
The Creation Lotus was a test set by a high-ring wizard for ordinary wizards, and it inherently had a tendency to serve them.
Combining the two, the Creation Lotus actively approached Locke. Through Locke and the Creation Lotus’s efforts, the Water God Palace phantom was forced back, relentlessly pushed backward by Locke and the Creation Lotus.
Locke seemed to see a vision of the wizard Probus, except this Probus was covered in bristling hair and beard, bound by thorns, trapped in a dark space. Behind him was the Abyss Queen, whose hand was about to touch him.
The wizard Probus glared at Locke with extreme rage.
“Why are people so foolish, so vile?”
“Why are there so many liars, thieves, shameless scoundrels, and robbers among the people?”
“Why do people always fear and revere those who harm them, deceive them, and keep them ignorant? Why are there so many fools? If foolishness is evil, and evil is foolishness, then I will stop killing with killing. If a fool kills one person, I will kill ten fools. If a fool kills ten people, I will kill a hundred fools. If a fool kills a thousand people, I will kill a hundred million fools. I will kill until the world is covered in blood, I will forge an infinite path of evil! I will kill hundreds of millions of evil people to prove my truth!”
Locke said to the wizard Probus, “Wizard Probus, I know you can sense me. If you are willing to help me now, I can immediately obtain the truth. Once I obtain the truth, I can give you justice.
Wizard Probus, believe me.”
“Wizard Probus—”
Blood kept gushing from the wizard Probus, who was bound together by countless thorns.
He glared at Locke, and for a moment, his violent gaze softened, regaining its former gentleness, rationality, and composure. His pupils reflected the various things Locke and the others had done for him recently, whether Locke himself or the contestants.
He saw Locke guiding the four council members; he saw Patrick plotting against Grandet and Kent; he saw the Purple Witch Bella tasting hundreds of herbs to find the key ingredient in the potion.
“Locke Augustine, I believe you.”
He raised his right hand, and a ball of purplish-red anger appeared within it.
“But you are only one person. There are millions of people in the world, but their virtue is insufficient, their wisdom lacks. Treating them with leniency will not only fail to help them improve, but will also strengthen their corrupt nature.” “
There are so many bad people, so few good people, and even more who are unaware of the truth. How can this be allowed? Only by stopping killing with killing, by controlling evil with evil, by transforming into the greatest evil in the world, can my way be spread.”
“Only by controlling evil with evil can this world become better and better. This is the ideal world I want.
This is the pseudo-forging I want, this is the way I want to change the world. Don’t interfere. You are not the evil person I want to kill, get out of my way.”
Behind him, the Queen of the Abyss opened her eyes, curled her lips into a smile, and danced lightly with her graceful figure, singing the all-encompassing goodness of the abyss.
“Humans, open your eyes to the all-encompassing goodness of the Abyss! One day, when all open their eyes, they will see the Abyss’s benevolence.”
“Mortals, you cannot contend with me for the Abyss’s being.” “
Mortals, he will fall into the Abyss before you, never to return.
” “Mortals, he deserves his fate, he willingly fell, he is beyond redemption, only the Abyss is his final resting place.”
The Probus Wizard, bound by countless thorns, produced an rage balloon. The balloon struck Locke. The Abyss Queen and the true Probus Wizard believed this blow would completely banish Locke from the Bitterwood World, and because this time Bitterwood had rejected Locke, he would never be able to return.
But the next moment, Heavenly Lord Locke transformed into the Abyss Dragon Locke.
A dragon as large as a continent stretched across the memory space created by the now utterly chaotic Bitterwood.
At the critical moment before the attack, Locke drank two vials of Nero No. 3 potion he had concocted, instantly creating two clones from his body: an Abyss Dragon and the Heavenly Lord. The Abyss Dragon used to defend against the magic unleashed by the wizard Probus, who was now almost transforming into an Abyss God. The Abyss Dragon’s scales possessed high resistance to Abyss energy, giving it a high degree of Abyss resistance.
The Abyss Dragon appeared to Probus’s left, while the Abyss Queen appeared to his right.
Both extended their hands towards Probus simultaneously.
The wizard Probus, bound by thorns, showed a change in expression.
The Abyss Dragon spoke, “I understand. The Abyss needs you to forge the Infinite Path of Evil. But can you truly succeed in this forging? If you could, you could have done it sixty years ago. Wizard Probus, I know you’re angry, but you must not lose hope or trust in this world and all living beings. Killing is the cheapest solution, but it’s definitely not the best one.”
Wizard Probus, amidst the thorns, looked at Locke, his eyes filled with rage.
“Don’t you understand me either? After you’ve seen so much, after you know the evils of the White Wizarding Association, what happened to me back then, after seeing how wicked and foolish the White Frost Witch was, and after seeing how stupid my apprentice was back then, do you still hold this view? Locke Augustine, you’re too lucky; you’ve never been betrayed.”
“Locke, stop making sarcastic remarks. What you see now is just the tip of the iceberg compared to everything I’ve encountered in my life.”
“My wizarding mentor during my apprenticeship was a full-fledged wizard who just coasted along, only wanting to exploit us apprentices. He used us apprentices to swindle the academy’s funds. After I reported him, I got a new teacher, but everyone thought I betrayed my mentor, that I was an ingrate. I’m very grateful to my teacher during my first-ring wizarding stage, but I never expected him to ask me to plagiarize other people’s work. He even said it wasn’t plagiarism, just borrowing other people’s experimental ideas and data; as long as I published it fast enough, I was the original.”
“I refused! So, I turned against him again. My third teacher was the Heart Dragon Wizard. My second wizard mentor went around badmouthing me to everyone.” “
And my third mentor, the Heart Dragon Wizard, I refused to be mediocre with him, so I broke off relations with him again. Locke, you’ve never encountered such people.”
The Probus Wizard, amidst the thorns, wanted to approach the Abyss Queen.
“Let me show you what I’ve done in these sixty years.”
Images, recorded through the Bitter Tree, the dominant species of the Bitter Love Tree genus, entered Locke’s mind.
The Abyss Dragon was stunned.
“For the past sixty years, you have deliberately lured the Maupassant family to study your laboratory. Your Evolution Garden nourishes the souls of the wicked, and you have continuously lured and killed dark wizards here. You have spared the kind and the wise, if either is true, you have spared. Your hands are already stained with blood and sin. Probus, have you ever considered that you are now an even greater evil?”
“Now, if you successfully forge your so-called Infinite Evil Path, there will be no one more evil than you in this world.”
The wizard Probus, amidst the thorns, curled his lips.
“Just a little bit more. My ultimate magic, Evolution Garden, is based on my Infinite Evil Path in the nascent forging stage.”
Countless bees appeared around him, and in the next moment, they all transformed into abysses, displaying their abyssal bloodline.
These abyssal bees were of various kinds, and their combinations exemplified what Infinite Evil Path truly meant.
The wizard Probus said, “My immense magic has been constantly improving. Once I complete the false forging of the Infinite Evil Path, I will instantly become king. Compared to me, the seventy-two demons of the abyss are nothing but chickens and dogs. I will immediately use this to leap into the Sun Ring, and through the Infinite Fall into the Abyss, I will cross the Sun Ring and head to the Third Ring. After I face the Abyss, I will use the Infinite Evil Path to claim the throne!”
“At that time, look at those villains outside who are still gloating. See who will still be laughing then.”
“My Infinite Evil Path is only half a month away from the false forging. That’s why I told you not to interfere. This is the Abyss Queen’s ceremony, not your ceremony, Locke Augustine’s. You can’t save me, and I don’t need your help.”
“When I get out, I will kill all the wizards and mortals in a wizarding land as sacrifices for the Infinite Fall into the Abyss.”
“This is the resource for me to step into the Third Ring! This is my path of revenge, and I don’t need your help. I will use this incident to warn the White Wizarding Association and let them understand what they have done.”
“Although the price is high, once I’ve been here, the people of this world will remember this lesson. If everything goes smoothly in the end, I will become the greatest evil in the world, leading the Abyss Legion to wage a war against the Three Swamps. Locke, guess at what stage the White Wizard Association will intervene?”
The Abyss Queen looked at Locke with a sorrowful and sarcastic expression. She nodded slightly, seemingly affirming what the wizard Probus had said. She extended her hand to Probus, who turned to place his palm in hers.
But just as he was about to place his palm in the Abyss Queen’s palm to prove his willingness and make the ritual irreversible, his hand suddenly stopped halfway. He looked back at Locke; Locke had activated a reverse ritual force, halting his descent into the abyss.
The Probus Wizard said, “Locke, you—”
Locke ignored him and instead looked at the Abyss Queen, saying, “No need for that mocking smile. Right now, I am the Abyss Dragon, and you are the Abyss Queen; we are both beings of the Abyss.”
“You hold your ritual, and I hold mine. We are evenly matched; neither of us is stronger than the other. You want to send the Probus Wizard into the Abyss, while I will use my ritual to pull him out.”
“Abyss Queen, I tell you, this man belongs to me!”
The Abyss Queen looked at Locke with a complex and strange gaze, then took a half-step back and shook her head slightly, as if to tell Locke that it was impossible.
At this moment, beside the Probus Wizard, who was bound with thorns, were Locke and the Abyss Queen on either side.
Both extended their palms to him, inviting him to join them.
Locke, however, was attempting to pull the Probus Wizard out using the Probus Truth Unveiling Competition.
Wizard Probus looked at Locke. His Garden of Evolution was still being perfected. He unified his magical knowledge across his three domains using the theory of Infinite Evil, and simultaneously sought to solidify Infinite Evil from the void, thereby completely unifying the three Great Magics and bringing the Garden of Evolution to its full completion.
At the moment of its completion, the Garden of Evolution would collapse. It was like an eggshell given to the Great Demon God; the moment he hatched, he would abandon the path of the wizard and walk the path of the abyss, thus rendering the Garden of Evolution unnecessary.
The ultimate goal of unifying the three systems would be to no longer need even Great Magic, leaving only himself.
But Probus sensed that Locke was still trying to communicate with him using ritual power, reminding him of his wizard self.
The wizard Probus looked at Locke and asked, “Why? Why are you so fixated on me?”
Locke replied, “That powerful figure from the White Wizarding Guild who framed you, I will be her enemy. The White Frost Witch, I will be her enemy. If the Death Selection Council stands in my way, I will be their enemy too. And your Infinite Evil Path, I will be their enemy as well. The Abyss Queen wants to drag you into the Abyss, I will be her enemy even more.”
“Because this is my duty as an investigator of Mount Golden Crown.”
“Furthermore, I don’t want to see those who seek the truth heading towards the Abyss. Such a world is not the world I acknowledge. A world that absolutely cannot allow someone who wants to strive, someone who is striving, to be unable to strive, to slide further into the Abyss the harder they try. Such a world is more pathetic and evil than the Abyss itself.
But the wizarding world is not that kind of world right now. So I cannot let you slide into the Abyss before my eyes.”
Locke’s eyes were serious as he said, “You believe that fighting evil with evil is your way, then for anything I believe I should do, I will do my utmost. Treating people with sincerity is my way.”
“Just think of it as an illusion caused by my form expanding infinitely during the virtual forging stage. It’s none of your business.”
“Mr. Probus, you’re not punishing others, you’re punishing yourself. You’re not like the Macedonian witch.”
“Mr. Probus, if you refused my help, why did you react to the ritual you held? Now, since the current scale of the competition isn’t enough to save you, I’ll hold an even larger one. I will hold the most impressive competition in the history of the Eastern Boundary, and this ritual is for you. It’s a competition to uncover the truth hidden for the past sixty years. Wizard Probus, you cannot deprive the world of the opportunity to know the truth. Otherwise, you will be my enemy. And if you are my enemy, you will only fail.”
Wizard Probus’s eyes shifted. “Lock Augustine.”
Locke had previously drunk two vials of Nero’s Potion No. 3, which allowed him to create two clones, both suppressed with immense magic, and thus still controllable.
At this moment, Locke’s true form replaced the Abyss Dragon, extending his palm towards Wizard Probus.
Meanwhile, the Celestial Lord and the Abyss Dragon rushed out of the laboratory.
Then, two magical creatures appeared outside the laboratory,
attracting the attention of countless wizards.
The Macedonian witch stood on the ground, looking up at the sky, and exhaled a breath of stale air.
The wizard Grandet walked into the street, “What—what is this? What is Locke trying to do?”
The previously clear sky suddenly darkened, and the Abyss Dragon transformed into a great sun in the sky, plunging everything into solitude.
The Heavenly Lord exhaled a breath of pure air, which multiplied into three thousand forms, transforming into seats floating in the air. He exhaled another breath of pure air, which instantly condensed in the sky, transforming into a ball of light that could project the images projected inside the laboratory by the True Sight Crystal Matrix.
The Abyss Dragon opened its maw and said, “The Probus Truth Competition is halfway through, and this is a crucial moment. To attract more heroes to the competition, I will use this as a starting point to directly explain five brand-new methods of cultivating spiritual energy and forging worlds within bottles. I will also demonstrate the spiritual energy fusion method and showcase the Five Kings Bottles.”
“Wizards who wish to attend the free lectures may take their seats, and spectators may also take their seats. The Probus Truth Unveiling Competition aims to improve the breeding skills of wizards in the Eastern Realm.”
The wizards watching the spectacle in the wizard town exchanged bewildered glances, marveling at Locke’s grand gesture and wondering what the spiritual energy fusion cultivation method and
the Five Kings Bottles were.
However, many of them had read Locke’s articles in Raize, and his public explanation and teaching of these new breeding methods naturally piqued the interest of many wizards. To them, Locke was practically doing charity.
Many wizards flew directly to their seats in mid-air.
Meanwhile, the dark sun in the sky grew stronger, gathering more and more ritual power.
Meanwhile, in the Black Sun Tower, which exists outside of this era yet within it, the enormous fake corpse on the throne stirred.
The wizards worshipping the fake corpse looked up in astonishment, “A grand ceremony? Which dragon lord is holding a grand ceremony in this era?”
“No, this isn’t a grand ceremony. It only resembles one in form; it’s just an ordinary ceremony.”
At this moment, the enormous fake corpse, who had been sitting upright, sat up straight and said, “Alright.”
A black sun rose from the fake corpse’s palm.
The ceremony was officially completed.
In the direction of the Despair Valley Laboratory in the Rain Swamp, there were originally few people. Because a horrific S-class experimental accident had occurred in that area, coupled with its less-than-ideal geographical environment, it wasn’t a popular area. Many wizarding academies avoided this area, and only some less powerful academies would establish schools there.
This was simply because there weren’t many wizarding academies nearby, and they had found this opportunity.
But today, a large number of wizarding apprentices and certified wizards are flocking here because of this competition, and the local wizarding academy is practically ecstatic.
The influx of people means the exchange of magical resources and a surge in the enrollment of wizarding apprentices.
A single competition has actually boosted the economy of an entire region.
Locke’s public explanation of the five methods of cultivating spiritual energy has attracted a large number of Star Ring wizards, Second Ring wizards, and even a small number of Moon Ring wizards.
Two magical carriages were traveling side-by-side on the road. One Moon Ring Wizard lifted the curtain and said to the other, “I met with some of the local wizarding academy heads today. It seems the first mission is going to be difficult.
The local academy heads are very supportive of this competition. But unfortunately, a high-ranking official within our association has asked us to investigate a Doomsday Gate in this region.”
The other Moon Ring Wizard said, “Dozens of academies here have benefited from this competition. Of course, they will support it. Ever since Wizard Locke announced before the finals that he would publicly explain five new structures of Spirit Breath Cultivation Methods, this competition has also served as an academic conference. At this moment, Star Ring Wizard Breeders from nearby wizarding lands are all rushing here to see the so-called Five Kings Bottle. Hopefully, this Five Kings Bottle won’t disappoint these wizards who have come from so far away. Besides, although the local area is lacking in talent, there are still some influential people in the association.”
“These people won’t let us shut down the competition.”
“This Augustine wizard is quite cunning. I think we can just gloss over it,”
said the Moon Ring Wizard, who spoke first. “But that won’t work. Someone has reported the Doomsday Gate to the Wizarding Lands Council, and now all wizards above the second ring know about it. Moreover, it’s been published in all the major wizarding newspapers. Many wizards, taking advantage of the journalists’ interviews, are vehemently criticizing it. I don’t think we can gloss over it.” “
However, I observe that this competition seems to have the characteristics of fake forging. A competition without forging only involves the idea of changing the world, while a competition for fake forging envoys involves a theoretical system for changing the world. But this competition seems to involve more than just a theory for changing the world; it has also attracted the attention of many wizards, and some are already putting it into practice.”
“Some wizards see this competition as a place to improve their academic level. Some wizards see it as a place to reveal the truth.”
“With the driving force of various coincidences, and the support of this Probus wizard, this competition already has the characteristics of fake forging.”
“This Locke Augustine must be a top genius from the Cloud Marsh Wetlands, right? Otherwise, how could he have such methods? Someone who can organize such a competition, shouldn’t he be a fake forger himself?”
another Moon Ring Wizard said. “It’s probably because his standards are higher.”
“He probably looks down on ordinary fake forgers.”
“For top geniuses like them, fake forging should be a very simple matter if they want to.”
