Chapter 1149

Author’s note at the end: Please vote with monthly tickets!

This volume is officially finished! Hooray!

Actually, this volume already had a basic outline before I even started writing the book, but I absolutely couldn’t write it then. The establishment of various worldviews and the accumulation of advanced abstract vocabulary in the early stages, along with the improvement of my own writing skills, ultimately resulted in this volume’s intertwining of the loves and hates of dozens of characters.

Remember the original website domain: 𝕥𝕨𝕜𝕒𝕟.𝕔𝕠𝕞.

After finishing it, I was even a little dazed.

This volume is complete. As the

saying goes, a soldier who doesn’t want to be a general isn’t a good soldier, so I want to be a good writer, a writer who can truly write good things. A writer who can let more people see my stories. With this in mind, I wrote this book.

Actually, for a long time before, I believed in other people’s so-called “writing pleasure points” and “writing techniques,” but every time I used them, my results were very poor. Before this book, I had a story that I wrote casually, a fairy tale, which actually did relatively well. That book had an average of over two thousand downloads.

For a while, it almost became a featured work.

Later, I thought, “Hey, I’m so close to creating a masterpiece, wouldn’t learning a few more techniques make me invincible?” And that’s when my series of failures began.

Now I understand one thing: any technique is more suited to the creator. This applies not only to writing books, but to many things. If you learn a technique and can better utilize it, it means you share a similar personality with the creator. But I want to clarify one point: it doesn’t mean that someone who learns a technique slowly is stupid. They might just not have found the technique that suits them.

I, on the other hand, found the creative path that best suits me, not any online tutorials or writing “feel-good” stories. What does “feel-good” mean?

All the heroes and great men of the world, living as great men and dying with their loyal followers and vanquishing the wicked—aren’t their lives fulfilling?

Therefore, I believe that good stories are inherently fulfilling; striving for ideals and pursuing truth is naturally a joyful life.

Therefore, which of those online writing techniques that cater to human weaknesses has any truly great author actually used?

Or rather, a truly fulfilling life is one where one firmly believes in their convictions; that’s true fulfillment.

All this is to say that there are far too many misconceptions lately, and far too few people dedicated to crafting good stories. I am willing to calm my mind amidst this prosperous and superficial world, and focus on honing my skills to write a truly good story. The significant increase in readership for this volume is undoubtedly encouraging. I have written vivid and compelling characters, a compelling story, a worldview that blends my own aesthetic sensibilities, and a story that I can honestly say I am a writer. This is enough to earn the support of my readers.

I am incredibly grateful to all the readers who have supported me along the way. Thank you all, and we will continue to journey together with this wonderful story.

I just checked my backend, and I feel like I’ve written hundreds of thousands of words of drafts.

The result of my hard work is that my book’s readership has remained consistently strong.

I put my heart into writing every good story, pushing myself to the limit at each stage, and continuously improving, hoping to reach even higher limits. This is what I, as a creator, can promise my readers, and what I have truly done.

Readers, in the next volume, I will continue to improve and try to write even better.

And lastly, I’ll use my traditional skill—please vote with your monthly tickets!
